- Made up a quick track using a cool sample...tried some more aggressive drums this time, I think it turned out neat.

Wouldn't surprise me if NI took notice to your channel and dropped you a studio for free as cross promotion. Might be a good idea if you hadn't though of doing that. Though regardless very nice drum programming and the skills show. Keep it up!

Yeah, agreed, lots of possibilities with this one

That beat is infectious!! you should release it!! inspires me to pick up my mikro and get drumming...awesome stuff....any chance you can do something with a deep house vibe? Keep em coming!! :)
David Somerville Thinking of a beat tape! Not too experienced with deep house but I'll try to keep that in mind.
That sample THO!!!
FVCKIN GOLD HOMMIE!!!!
Peace...
I'm glad I'm really doing some homework in the Maschine... I plan on buying the MK2 in two weeks... I'm seeing it's worth. I'm getting it's worth the purchase.. I'm leaving garageband 10 & crossing over. I wouldn't know if they're compatible with each other but the software for the Maschine has way more sounds & drums. I'm with this all the way...
how much they cost thinking about getting one soon
Cold got ill wit it..💯👀✊🏾
Damn, you are an animal on that Maschine! I've never really heard anything wack from you. Keep it up.
+Andre Law Thanks man!
oh yea killed it man. loved every min. what sample is that. i love my maschine a lot getting better. play at a bar. and a house party of 50 soooo fun..... keep killing it.
sickkk my fav by u so far
I need some help Andrew. I purchased the Maschine Studio, Ableton Live Suite, Push controller and the Apc 40. My goal was to start making gospel house music. A year later I still don't know what I'm doing (with any of this stuff). You make it look so easy and your music sounds SO GOOD. I only have the stock sounds that came with the Maschine. I've been contemplating buying 10 Ultimate but I don't want to spend the money just to get more frustrated. Any suggestions?
+Mike Beads You have a ton of nice gear. I would start with one of the pieces of hardware and really learn it. Either learn how the Studio works with Maschine standalone, or how Push works with Ableton. Focus on one thing at a time, it'll be way too overwhelming to do everything at once. Your sounds aren't limiting you right now, I'm guessing. Don't feel like you need to buy all the latest stuff to make music! Work with what you have right now, it's a sweet setup.
great song keep the good work up man(:
First of all you started off with 🔥🔥🔥😫!
Dude ,, I was really not on my Mashine... I was like ... Done... But when I watch your videos... You're the Truth ... Keep it up man. Tutorials and all

Daniel c Thanks for the support! Check out all my maschineskills tutorials here: ua-cam.com/play/PL7ODfLapPcJtRsyMyOXZONwfdqogpRgX6.html
This is dope, I want to get into this so I'm looking for a decent pad to purchase and where I could go to grab one.
Okay, thanks Andrew! I just saved myself 499.00...
just ordered one today! they should pay you... bringin in some business haha keep the videos coming mano! andrewchellmanmusic
Jackson b Have fun!!
i love that kick
Dope bro. you make me want to take out my maschine i got for a gift and never used. +Do you use the DAW that comes w/ maschine? thnx.
Nick Star Definitely try it out! I always use Maschine in standalone, yes
That was dope - I’ve got a MK2 but with the kids I’m not getting much time in. Thinking about picking up a Mikro I can chuck in my backpack and mess with on my lunch breaks\on the sofa etc but concerned that I might struggle with less buttons/knobs... How do you feel about switching between the mk2 and the Mikro; how much of a (real world) workflow difference is it?
that is sooo good though. where can i just pic up the made tracks at ? this would be nice to drive through the city to
Omg I love this !
Loving the beat!! 1:47 do you have a video that explains how to make that trap rhythm? It looks like you're using the F1-F3 keys to speed up the high hats. Looks much easier than trying to use the note repeat function.
Thanks! I am using the note repeat and changing the speed with the F-keys. Hold note repeat + the control button on top to make the note repeat button "latch"
This dope b. 👍🏽
hey Andrew learn a lot with your videos but one question i would like to know where do you get all your nice samples
Dany Adolphe UA-cam digging at the moment, just clicking through related videos until something cool with not a lot of views catches my ear haha
That hard !! ❤
This is soooo awesome
***** Thank you!
Just raw talent... how long have you been working with mashine? Do you take courses?
David Valentine Thanks man. I've been on it for a few years now. Just taught myself!
That track is brilliant... really nice... I realize the sample is not on youtube anymore but would it be possible to download this as a wave and re slice it? or is there more to this sample... Again inspiring work...thx Chris
c. vandev whats it called ?
andrewchellmanmusic you seem to love the Mikro Machine more than any model.
I believe that most of your subscribers have the Mk2. Can you please so more videos on the Mk2? It'll mean a lot to us!
Your instructions are very helpful. But please upload your how to chop and edit samples in the Mk2 along with how to record and edit pattern and scenes. The button layouts are different.
Marquis Dendy I will keep that in mind. I have a whole series of videos for the MK2 on how to make a sampled beat. That along with some others are in this playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PL7ODfLapPcJtRsyMyOXZONwfdqogpRgX6.html
Good Work on that sample
Great Videos man! I have one question though..do you sell or hand - out your beats to artists, or do you just make beats for the love of music?
Thanks! I just enjoy making tracks. I have worked one-on-one with a few artists and that has been really enjoyable as well - they come with an idea of the beat they want, I sketch out a few ideas, they choose the best one, and then I develop and finish the track. When everything is as the artists wants, they can buy the exclusive rights and I send over stems.
I don't know if you're asking for beats but that's how I like to do it!
And can you hook up a midi to the machine and play the internal VST's wit the midi ? Thanks for the video man it's really dope . I subbed
this. was. clean. af.
Hell yeah I like that shit sounds raw
fireeeeeeee holy shit i gotta buy one of these
my maschine has been collecting dust lately but man watching your videos makes me want to grind out some samples. i might do that tonight. awesome sample. vocal samples like this always remind me of kanye
mevin kackler Don't let it get dusty! Thanks for the support
Yeah that's what I been doing. I'm still working it. I think I just need a daw.
Dope bruh🔥🔥🧠🤘
where are those drum samples from man? those sound great. i was thinkin of buying a mikro but i dont have a cd drive on my imac to install it. kinda lame cuz i really want a maschine. do you know if you can download the application itself from NI's website when you buy your maschine? i couldnt find any info when i tried. thanks man and nice sounds!
Josh Menchaca Lazer Dice, it's a good pack. I would email NI support about that, I'm not sure if it's possible to get a download without first registering the software from the CD..
alright man thanks ill try that!
sounds dope man
Thats a Banger!!!
So what do you plug this into? Where is the sound projecting from. Also the initial vocals that create the beats over, did you create that or is it a sample you grabbed and ran something over it.
Where do you get your drum kits from? They're always so sick.
+Kyle Wilson These were from Lazer Dice
Omfggg this craaaaz
This is dope
very cool!
How do you change the note repeats for the hihats like that? That was awesome!!
+Jeremy Gonterman Just use the F1,F2,F3 buttons and set them to different repeat speeds. Pretty handy
So Great man!
Dopeness!
This is nice. Were those other sounds you added samples from the same song?
just picked up my very own mikro... shit is HOT! Been messing around with it for about a week now and its been going great, however you just seem to know twice and maybe as many as 3 times the amount of abilities the hardware holds, I've just been figuring things out by trial and error and deduction, any suggestions or places to look?
Much Appreciated,
Amateur producer
GnarCakesNSteezSauce Nice! I have several tutorials but they are outdated now, I need to update them. I also put a ton of tutorials on the ADSR channel. Check this playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PL7ODfLapPcJtRsyMyOXZONwfdqogpRgX6.html
Where do you get your sounds? It's hard for me to find any good ones.
And both of your performance kits volume are nice#
TJ Joyner Online digging, just searching through UA-cam mostly. Glad you like the kits!
Thank you!
Is your kick layered? It sounds dope.
really dope man. i have a small question though, at 1:11 when you were recording the drums, it seems like your recording started on your first hit of the pad. i went through the manual to find something like 'recording on first pad hit' but can't find it. how did you do that? or did i misread the whole thing. peace man. keep bringing us dope beats and videos.
Thanks! That was just recording with a one-bar count in by pressing shift+rec. You just can't hear the metronome due to how I recorded audio
ahh.. got it. coolios.
NICE !
love your videos. Can i use the machine mikro mk2 with logic pro x?
Vin C Thanks! Yes, you can, but I'm not familiar with how that all works
That's deep shit... Awesome
Hey Andrew, in the expansion packs I see NI offers hundreds of drum samples. Are these new drum sounds or the same sounds put in new kits?
+Mike Beads They are new samples!
Nice !
This Shitt So Fuckn Dope 👌👌👌👌 👏👏👍👍
