I am thinking about this in terms of game narrative and often not only is refusal of the call skipped but so is the ordinary world part. If its expanded upon later its in some kind of flashback.

Can you think of any films that doesn't have a hero's journey?

Well there's Samsara but other than that, honestly it's hard to think of a feature film that doesn't follow a hero's journey.

I wanted to clean up the channel a bit really, don't really want to be doing any more reviews in the future, at least in that style, and they weren't getting many views anyway. Thanks for asking :)

Ralph Breaks The Internet is a terrible sequel. Why didn't you use Wreck-It Ralph instead of that? The original is superior and uses the Hero's Journey formula so much better. Having the sequel be set entirely in the internet and social media instead of continuing to be about video games is a really bad idea, as it results in dated references and jokes and because of the era in the entertainment industry we are currently experiencing, there's identity politics shoved in it because Disney is now a liberal company. That was definitely not the kind of sequel that the original deserved.

Well I actually liked the sequel a lot but I can see what you mean about the Internet references being a bad idea. The main reason that I used it over the original one is because I remember everything that happened in it because I watched it quite recently, I haven't watched the original in a while.

@@MovieMation Well you should've watched the original again before making this video.
