That’s was more for older pc parts, more modern tech doesn’t really have that problem anymore. Yea there’s a chance but it’s so unlikely with newer tech it’s not even worth worrying about. Been like this for a while already.
Aside from that mod I'll add big 5 inch fan powerful and power it through a separate battery when I do heavy gaming. It will be noisy but I wear noise canceling earbuds when I play games so I don't hear the noise 😂 Oh I have to cut a 7 inch square into the back plate and glue the fan in the sides
Conservation of energy... The blanket was blocking the heat from getting to the back of the device. Do you notice the device feeling hotter in the hands or any other adverse thermal effects (more throttling of the APU) after doing this?
I know what you said bud, No, ever since I done this mod everything working spot on. I had list of issues until I added heatsink, out of my own experience not a single issue or throttling appeared so I could advise to do it with full confidence.
@@gsprings43what dust, the back cover has a screen filter on it. 99% of all the videos have clean black plastic, the screen filter on the back cover is super small, dust cant get in.
This little mod helped me with ssd overheating, it was appearing in few scenarios but when it happened device was turning slow as turtle so eventually this solution have done a big improvement.
@@VibeLinkGaming I think I am going to go with the Legion Go instead. Easier to put on some great headphones and have a great screen than mess with trying not to kill an ssd, SD, cards.
@@jgbelmont I think you won’t go wrong by choosing Legion GO, I would consider it myself to be fair but Im perfectly happy with Ally. Legion GO is quite big though, so if you thing portability isn’t something that bothers you absolutely go for it 🙌🤩
@@jgbelmont I actually realised one thing now. Lenovo is very trustworthy brand and comparing to ASUS it is definitely right to look towards Legion GO. I has ASUS TUF and ROG Strix G series laptops in past and now I own Lenovo legion laptop. I might consider Legion GO in future as there is no questions to quality of the brand 😃 Lenovo vs ASUS winer is obvious (brand wise)

On the stress tests/ benchmark results are: without heatsink 92c/ 78c. No my friend, as soon as I seen reports on SD card issues I instantly traded mine in and got 2TB WD SN740 from allyexpress, which works flawlessly 👍

Micro SD slot is the issue. Not the SSD. So why?
