My husband is 69 and his grandmother used to make rolls similar to these. She cut them with a biscuit cutter and dipped them on both sides in melted butter. The difference is, there was no fat in the dough, so they ended up being somewhat chewy. Thanks for the video.

Memaw says she’s never made them with anything else but lard should work
