"6 inches is average right?" @7:45, one of the funniest things ive heard you say on your videos. i do enjoy you're videos, fills the craving of fishing up here in Saskatchewan during our winters. I can only say is open water from december to early may is not a thing here.
Absolutely love Hardman Fishing Videos. The best trout catching content and honest commentary on UA-cam. Thank you so many times for making my hard grueling days better because at the end of the day, when I can catch you, Jon or Andrew, sharing a big brownie, rainbow, or brookie I know there's more to life than being a disabled person. I still put one foot in front of the other and get out there and fly fish, just not as often as I would like. Anyhoo, keep these coming. I'm looking forward to what y'all will do and share in 2024 and always tight lines. Tony Walkingstick
Hope u hit ur 80 k subscribers mark by the end of the year love ur videos man I’m new to this fly fishing but you taught me a lot keep doing you man !!
Great content; you always make me want to fish. I would love to hear more about what you're using and your rig set up and thought process on what you are using and why. thanks in advance
Let's go Hardman posted again which means it is a good day to relax and enjoy his amazing videos. He always finds a way to entertain us no matter what 🎣✌️🫡👍
Really great fishing, your casting skills are fantastic, especially on that really tiny stream. I love those scenes of the countryside, America isn't all big city blocks or interstate highway. By the way in the UK a creek is a small saltwater inlet, where you were fishing are streams. Keep them coming.
Great compilation video. I like that added footage using a spinning rod as well. I started fly fishing about four to five years ago and, in the beginning, didn’t get a chance to fly fish that much. It’s grown into an addiction, and I try to go as much as possible. Keep up the great footage. Cheers from Tennessee!
Can you do a video on some of your rod setups for running different rigs and what you use in small vs big streams or rivers? Fly line, Leader and tippet setups for for streamers, nymphs and dry flies? Much appreciated.
Do you ever reveal where you’re fishing? I really enjoy your videos. I been fishing and tying flies for over 50yrs, 25 of them in North Carolina and never caught a 20+ inch trout yet. Where do you catch all these beautiful trout?
I hadn't watched your channel since earlier in the year, and I'm amazed that you're close to 80K subscribers. That's growth! Good for you. Question. I would never ask anyone to reveal their fishing locations, but would it be fair to say that the great winter trout fishing in this compilation is somewhere in the North Georgia mountains? Or, is it western N Carolina? Thanks!
Any stocker able to get that big is effectively a wild fish because it has grown in the wild setting for multiple years. It passed the fitness test and is hopefully contributing to the genetics of the local wild population.
@@hardmanfishing do you know of any resources where I can find them with? I know a lot of the big names but want to find some smaller less pressed waters. I am in the northern part of the state in Davis
Why you feel like you're gonna pass out dude?! make sure you're well hydrated with like gatorade and have like a protein bar with you or something! love the vids keep em coming
Do you have a universal setup for a beginner? Meaning something good for multiple species and that wont fail if I catch a bigger fish arount 4 or 5 pounds? I'm located in Maine and looking to start fly fishing. I've trolled and used spinning reels for trout and salmon but I really want to get out here and take further advantage of our fly fishing-only waters this upcoming season. Any advice would help from viewers as well :) Tight lines.
Hey man, do you think a 6WT is too light for trout of this size? Where I am in NYS they get that big, but most are only like 10in or so. Just got my first Orvis Clearwater kit and want to know I can actually use it around here.

good to hear that you're coming back to NY next year. I've got a place in the Catskills and fish the upper Delaware system a lot.
Quite amazing.

Any advice you would give me?
I really liked it
Nice videos! In Europe we don't fish for brownies around spawning time!
And???

Of course! I plan on doing that in 2024

LOVE your videos ! ever been to PA?
Fantastic video---question is Euro Nymphing your favorite technique to land monster trout? Thanks for sharing
I’m not sure, I think I’d rather catch them streamer fishing 😂 but euro nymphing is definitely more effective in certain scenarios
subbed!!
Awesome video. Really like to know what Grey series renegade rod you streamer fish with. Thanks
new sub yo!
i'm from indonesia, i like make you fishing cause we one hobby
When you’re so good you catch multiple fish of a lifetime in a single year lol
More like real lucky! Thanks for watching

Any tips for finding wild trout water like this in WV? Sick of fishing for stocked fish
Well half the content in this video was from WV 😂 but I guess it depends on what part of the state you live in
@@hardmanfishing do you know of any resources where I can find them with? I know a lot of the big names but want to find some smaller less pressed waters. I am in the northern part of the state in Davis
You should fish the Deschutes river in Oregon
Awesome video!! Glad I recently found your channel and subscribed!! I was curious to know what your spinning rod/reel combo in this video was?
I couldn’t even tell you exactly 😂 I know it’s a st croix rod and an abu Garcia reel
Hey! Think you could have kept the fish out of the water a bit longer ?
Yeah for sure!!
Why you feel like you're gonna pass out dude?! make sure you're well hydrated with like gatorade and have like a protein bar with you or something! love the vids keep em coming
Judging from the thin line and the way that you lob it, are you using a euro-nymphing technique on those winter trout?

You might want to consider a 5 or 6 weight setup. Not too huge for the smaller fish but will have some extra backbone for the bigger ones.
Ever considered a road bed in the deep part do like a road rock on both sides caught lots of fish on deep old roadbeds
the fly went off when fish was in net*! lucky boy
My friend, sorry for the question, I'm starting fly fishing, what line do you recommend because I have a terrible line that lets me cast? 😅
….Great job Great Video…Give more info…Where are you fishing…..????????
This had fish caught from all over the US… literally 😂 also I don’t always say where I’m fishing so I don’t spot burn

"theres always a bigger fish"
Do you have a lot of leader line ???
Hi
What rod are you using bro ?
Running into the river is why you fall and fill your waders and pull muscles and break rods and destroy the river bottom…
Enjoyed it up until the "lets go".
What fly line is that it looks clear ?
Bigger pools better fight.
Curious if there was a barb?
WHAT LINE ARE FISHING WITH. COS IF I WAS FISHING MY LINE WOULD HAVE SNAPPED
Why don’t you mention that you’re fishing a PRIVATE CREEK!!
Why the hell did you jump in the creek thats real sportsme like
Damn, your posting this too early. There's still 20 more days to catch some fish before the year ends
Well I’ve got family stuff planned for the holidays, not saying I won’t fish but the editing would be difficult after this point!
NO İ/NQ!

I feel like so much of this is fake posturing for the video-disappointing : (
