I'm a cancer patient and love trout fishing, I live in Missouri so the only trout here are rainbows and browns. Love the videos and the scenery, beautiful fish , keep up the amazing work!
Oooh, nice healthy lake! You can see all the copepods dancing around in the water column. That's good! It means there's plenty of food for the baby fish.
Rolled up on a lake once with 2 other friends to ice fish, the county was doing a search and rescue over a hole in thin ice - a lot like the ice in this vid. We chose a different activity for the balance of the day. Looks like you had a good time. Do be careful.
Did my first trout fishing on a 4 day backpacking hike this summer. I was fishing small streams and caught a small trout that I had no idea what it was. I guessed it was a brook but it was really early and I couldn't see much detail on it but it was dark like these fish. Caught some cutthroat up in a mountain lake too. All of these trout were sight casted and, while I wasn't equipped for the smaller brooks the cutthroats were numerous and constant action!
These are what we call “Native Brook Trout” Specks for Speckled Trout! Nice video. Michigan don’t let you fish them after Sept 30th until last Saturday in April.
When trout season starts I'm heading to a creek that leads off off the Ohio river and its called the "Ten Mile Creek " in PA, and its a big shallow creek and the fish species may surprise you: Channel Catfish, Large mouth bass, small mouth bass, brook trout, rainbow trout, brown trout, bluegill, green sunfish, red ear sunfish, creek chub, darter, shiner, common carp, mirror carp, sucker fish and I'm pretty sure flathead.
Should have kept a few for a meal. Good for you and good for the over populated pond. In Colorado it is encouraged to keep ten if they are 8 inches or under to try and keep stunting from happening.
Those colours on them fish are sublime I live in Scandinavia and we catch sea trout in breeding condition they look pretty but nothing on these guys !! Great video good to see you returning them to grow even bigger can you eat Brooke trout ?
Hey man love the vid but it appears that those shallow fish may be spawning still, I know thanksgiving is late but the stationary behavior in shallow water is usually a decent indicator of spawn. Either way cool video!
That ice is too thin to even go on, people wanted at least 8 inches in the middle of the winter but I'd recommend not until it's a foot thick or had steady temperatures under freezing or around 32 degrees a few weeks before going and bring a lifejacket and picks to pull your way out if an emergency
Hey you should put your go pro down the water more often I wanna see the trout bite the bait try white power eggs and mealworm trout been hittinh on that .

Good luck on your treatment and your future trout fishing.
Hope you're doing well, and catching well lol
Has to be said man, the editing is first class. Gotta love the respect shown to the fish too. Superb vid dude.
These fish are unbelievablyyyy beautiful I’ve never seen those colors so vivid what an amazing creature🙆🏻♂️
I do think all trout are beautiful, but these... have some amazing color! I love the underwater footage and that you release them. Well done!
Brookies are so gorgeous. They look magical.
Good underwater footage!! Keep up the great work!! Thanks for taking us out there with you!!
I also use a hatchet for early ice. Much better than hauling a heavy auger around.
Good fun for those wild brooks.👍
Awesome video. Nothing prettier than a native brook trout. I live in Northern New Hampshire and we absolutely love trout fishing
that was some insane brookie fishing and filming! thanks for the video, brook trout are definitely on my bucket list for new species to catch soon
You’ve got it good! Where I live those little guys would all be considered decent. Your 3 pounder would be a trophy without question.
I love brook trout fishing. It is so humble.
I am enjoying your winter fishing videos!

I'll probably never find the brook trout but that's how to do it, great catch!
There were a ton of fish under that last hole you fished! Great footage! Dude! You’re the best fisherman on YT!
Nice under water footage there. Now I can see all those little creepy crawly things that the trout are eating. Cool video!
That last hole was loaded with fish! They must be soaking up that oxygen from the spring. Cool underwater footage.
Love it SB. Great underwater footage. Great colors on those brookies. Two thumbs u

Dude you’re causing an itch!!! Im definitely checking the ice at a couple holes this weekend

Cool video! Always, interesting to see the fish behave in their natural environment.

Those brookies are gorgeous! Be careful on that thin ice!
Awesome video! Great job finding the fish, I don’t catch that many brookies all winter!
You guys have some amazing trout
I’m surprised the fish didn’t get spooked by the hatchet chopping. I would have thought for sure they would have swam off.
Really cool video.

Really enjoyed the underwater footage! I just put out my first ice fishing video of the season and I’m just so pumped for more!
I've never seen anything like that. So many brookies in one spot. Insane.
Should have kept a few for a meal. Good for you and good for the over populated pond. In Colorado it is encouraged to keep ten if they are 8 inches or under to try and keep stunting from happening.

Yes brook trout and most other trout in America are great eating fish
Amazing video. I would recommend you get an aqua vu or markum underwater camera. I got one and it is great but a little pricy for the good ones.
Great underwater footage
Pretty cool fishing, bite was On
Thanks for another great video! Awesome footage
those fish are so beautiful.
Where were you fishing? That place looks gorgeous. I'm not looking for an exact location, just a general area
I’d recommend buying an aqua vu camera I never go out without mine even catching small fish it’s awesome to watch them eat
wow, great underwater footage
Hey man love the vid but it appears that those shallow fish may be spawning still, I know thanksgiving is late but the stationary behavior in shallow water is usually a decent indicator of spawn. Either way cool video!
Awesome footage loved it
Very cool!!! Thanks for sharing. What state are you in? Don’t tell anyone about that lake!!!!!🎣🎣
Great video man ! Yeah, I sure hope I know what the other thing is too 😎
Incredible footage!!
Do brook trout spawn in ponds? My understanding was that they don't spawn unless there's a feeder stream they can ascend.
Those fish are delicious !
some of those bucks are beautiful
3 and a half inches? Dam bro thats HUGEEE. 😳 You should be totally fine.
Thanks for letting your hand before handling that fish
Phenomenal footage!!

That was awesome.
Good job man nice fishing 🎣 👍
Where is this from ? State ? Location ? Looks like an absolute blast….
Use a smaller jig you will be able to hook them better and it won’t hurt them as Much I would use like a 1 /16th or smaller
Perfect fish
Great video !
What blue rod is that? Super nice looking
Awesome video bro. 🤙🎣
That was awesome
