so sterile yet beautiful in its own way. Who would think that something so evil could produce such beauty. Oh and there are a lot more cars on the road between the base and the adjacent housing tthan i would have thought.

That's why there's a public street running right through the center of it.

I can somewhat see that the Scientology current leader has spruced up the Int Base, bringing it up to the same level of spiffiness that Hubbard's Author Services offices in LA/Hollywood were upkept at. Lol.. this must be the reason they just spent over $20k on drone negation equipment. It would just be a damn shame if these drone operators knew the maximum effective ceiling height for their countermeasures is approximately 600 feet.
The key is having radar that's capable of picking up drones, without that most anti-drone equipment is easily thwarted. The trick is being able to lock-on and track the drone while in flight, and that equipment costs a hell of a lot more than $20,000. If they had advanced drone countermeasures, then the range would be closer to 10km, not 600 ft. That level of drone countermeasures is not purchasable by the general public, only industries listed as critical infrastructure can usually buy them. So while CoS might have some anti-drone capability, I highly doubt it's anything more advanced than look-at shoot-at type systems. Just stay out of sight and you'll be good to go, and if you see someone pointing something at the drone, jam the left stick up LOL.
mosipd Khoi you are absolutely correct. These are basically modified AR platforms that have a large canister that holds a net like package. They are a fully manual, line of sight type of defense.
A 'snipers nest' for base security. Within its camouflaged netting/rooftop are high powered security cameras, motion sensor receivers and various communication equipment.
@@jamieking4261 Nah, insiders have talked about this before. They have an actual sniper rifle in there and a 2 way radio portable and telescope they use to read and call in license plates of everyone passing by. You could hear them with a scanner radio if you went there before the abandoned it. The comms equipment and alarm receivers are down in the base.
Samsunk Androit Because they are only allowed to do 2 things, they are either working, or they are in classes. Doesn’t look like any punishment was going on that day. They will put you on yard duty, with no tools. That means pulling the grass by hand instead of mowing it, pruning rose bushes with no gloves or pruners, “ sweeping” & clearing sidewalks of dirt & leaves. All by hand! No joke!
It has his living quarters, but I think it also has staff offices and important artifacts from Hubbard's life. The long rectangular garage to the left of the building holds Miscavige's collection of cars.
No, that's the Religious Technology Center building, where he works. The entire right-hand side of the second floor is Miscavige's wing, with his office and other facilities. The front corner of the building, beside the turret, that's his office. At 10:35, directly infront of the pool you can see two grey-roofed buildings. Beyond those is a third building, difficult to see due to the tree cover. That's Miscavige's villa.
I always wondered if they ever had problems with the Indians or ever had to pay $ for that land??? The soboba reservation is literally right next to them!!!
In the '90s scientology owned a ranch next to the reservation where they housed children of Sea Org members. The Indians used to take shots at the bus that drove the kids to and from the ranch. So it's safe to say there's no love lost there. Scn later sold the ranch to the indians for a substantial sum. Gold Base itself was never part of the reservation afaik. That used to be a hot springs resort.
Wow. The place looks like a lot of money was spent there, but where are all the millions of scientology cultists that they like to brag about? I didn't see one happy child playing or running around. I saw hot tubs, a basketball court and a soccer field, but they really look unused. They even have a Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. Was that square building that is (at 9 minutes) their private prison called "The Hole" that we hear so much about? Thanks for the fly by.
MakerInMotion AIUI the bars were only there for a short period of time - I think Miscavige must have realised that they could be seen from the nearby highway, and so had them removed. The real prison is in their heads...
@@advdan_1755 no the hole are the two adjoining buildings with white roofs and blue facade tiled-roof siding, also technically serves the purpose of the CMO/Int Exec Strata building, now it is only nominally anything but the Hole.
That Large Mansion looking building (the tan one that isn't facing the road) is actually the Religious Technology Center headquarters/main offices, of which David Miscavige is the chairman of the board, hence his nickname C.O.B. The garage stalls were built with the intention of parking the vehicles of RTC and other Scientology executives, but as Miscavige has absorbed the power of other executives and forced them into submission or the Hole, it now is largely empty except for Miscaviges vehicles, those he has taken from or were gifted by other members and executives, or vehicles of visiting VIPs or business associates.
11:24 I honestly thought you were about to land in the yard, is that next? Cool videos but you are now crossing the legal limits in terms of your extremely low altitude.
Angry Thetan no. That would put people's jobs at risk. I don't know who you even are.
@@keefjunior4061 What the fuck dude? Do you want Scientology to stop or not? Help the fucking guy who made this video out.
wtf is that bunker?? They went to a LOT of effort to make that shit blend in. o_O
4:24 What's that ?
A 'snipers nest' for base security. Within its camouflaged netting/rooftop are high powered security cameras, motion sensor receivers and various communication equipment.
@@jamieking4261 Nah, insiders have talked about this before. They have an actual sniper rifle in there and a 2 way radio portable and telescope they use to read and call in license plates of everyone passing by. You could hear them with a scanner radio if you went there before the abandoned it. The comms equipment and alarm receivers are down in the base.
@@KandiKlover is the base empty now , I saw cars. If people are still in the base then wouldn't the nest still have guys in it
@@chestybulldog8526 the cars are security
Why is no one there? Looks like a dead base,
Oh I saw someone trying to escape base!!
Samsunk Androit
Because they are only allowed to do 2 things, they are either working, or they are in classes. No joke!
11:00 is that Miscavige's house?
It has his living quarters, but I think it also has staff offices and important artifacts from Hubbard's life. The long rectangular garage to the left of the building holds Miscavige's collection of cars.
No, that's the Religious Technology Center building, where he works. The entire right-hand side of the second floor is Miscavige's wing, with his office and other facilities. The front corner of the building, beside the turret, that's his office.
At 10:35, directly infront of the pool you can see two grey-roofed buildings. Beyond those is a third building, difficult to see due to the tree cover. That's Miscavige's villa.
If only you had a drone where you could film this place at night, cause you might see armed men walking about the property.
They might shoot down the drone.
@@tambert3897 that’s a federal offense to fire at any aircraft, manned or unmanned
good work , i enjoyed this video..

They will never see this until they are out. They don't have free access to the internet.
Yes, around the 9 minute mark, we see what is or was being used as the "The Hole".
There aren't bars on the windows anymore. I wonder if all the publicity prompted them to stop using the building for that.
Maybe the bars were just moved inside?
Come to think of it, the bars might have been on the inside from the start.
MakerInMotion AIUI the bars were only there for a short period of time - I think Miscavige must have realised that they could be seen from the nearby highway, and so had them removed. The real prison is in their heads...

What are the small looking garage like stalls outside of the big mansion?
Max Abbey that is what they refer to as the “hole”.
@@banjoarefood898 That is what I think to. This the hole. The only places on the base that look like pictures I have seen in the past.
New sub beautiful place such a shame and waste sad when I see this I can only think of all the donors and parishioners that were robbed.
I'm at the point where I'm like it's just a bunch of rich ppl lool
What an obnoxious and unnecessary waste of money...
11:24 I honestly thought you were about to land in the yard, is that next? Cool videos but you are now crossing the legal limits in terms of your extremely low altitude. I will be very surprised if Scientology doesn't eventually file a privacy/removal complaint with UA-cam, and also sue you if they can find you, but that is less likely.
I disagree. The camera can zoom in giving it the appearance of low altitude.
Cece Smith -- DJI Phantom cameras can't zoom.
DTR89 whoops, sorry ;)
I thought so too, it's definitely pushing the limits and is pretty risky considering how litigious sci is.
I think the church may have learned its lesson on how frivolous lawsuits can backfire. The world learned about "the hole" because scientology sued Debbie Cook and her testimony became public record. OOPS!
I see people seeking answers and total insane morons in the comments. Be warned.
