House plants and cats a huge challenge for me. Hearing your cat crying I’m assuming it’s outside of that room and wants in. Is that your solution too? I have all my plants in one room with the door closed. Wish I could place some around the house. Any suggestions?
I just shut my cat out during the video lol. Normally my cat doesn't get into any of my plants on the shelves, just the ones on my windowsill and my floor plants. The way Ive found to have them coexist is I don't have any plants that cats like to chew on (like bamboo, dracaena, or any of the palms) and then any I have on the floor I make sure it's more bushy or full such as snake plant or some aglaonemas so it doesn't have a lot of open dirt (aka no space to make it a litter box). I hope this helps! I love my cat. 🥰
Which indoor plant do you want to see propagated next?! 🌱
Mandarin orange spider plant
Aloe please
Glad I came across this today! I have an umbrella plant that has gotten super leggy but have been scared to do anything with it. Thanks!
I'm glad it helped!
Same here!! 🙏🌿
That was a really good presentation on my wife’s favorite plant. Thanks
Thank you!
I experimented and put some leaves into a jar of water - they rooted!!
Yay!!!
Nice clear presentation, scored a sub cheers
Thanks! ❤️

@@thegirlwithashovel thank you I’ll take all the advice I can from a fellow cat lover. One of them loves the plants, the other two not as much
You can absolutely snap the leaves off and root them in water with about a 70 % success rate. Easy peasy
Yup. That's my method for when I'm in a hurry! 😄
@@thegirlwithashovel lol. I pretty much live in a hurry
Sad kitty!
Also, the rot on that one cutting is because the soul is too wet.
Yes but you need moist soil for rooting so it's a better fix to form a good seal on your cutting so you can keep your soil more moist. 👍
Talk too much 😊
I'll have to make some shorts for you lol.
