Yes. 100%. Omnibus formats are the best way to get new readers into manga. So many people, like regular American comic readers, read manga like Akira and Berserk as their first mangas due to the format. No joke the format got a lot of people to read Berserk over the quality of Berserk.

Its hard, because some series would be a bit overkill for a deluxe hardcover, but certain series certainly do well in the oversized format. I am excited for Trigun deluxe and I think its a great way to rerelease it. I think the difference is dark horse has so far done the deluxe edition right. Where as some of these paperback/omnibus releases being called 'deluxe' or 'collector's' doesn't quite live up to it 😅
It also has to do with price as well. They don't want it to cost too much cuz otherwise not enough people will buy it. The publishing rights is already costly as it is. For example Sailor Moon's author released Eternal Editions in paper back (with glossy paper) which is similar to Deluxe Editions and Naoko Takeuchi editions which are paper back editions but of a lesser quality.
I think the Dark Horse deluxe are extremely easy to read. The only bigger edition I find hard to read are the big colossal editions of Attack on Titan, they’re very heavy and because they don’t have a hard cover they’re hard to hold. I’ve never seen that deluxe edition of AOT, are they brand new? They weren’t out a few months ago, at least I couldn’t find them.
I'd love an oversized deluxe edition of GANTZ. The 3 in 1 omnibus editions are so small and hard to read. Astro Boy could also benefit from this as well.

HEAR ME OUT.for the one piece deluxe every arc the cover will have a diffrent symbol or diffrent fruit like the first arc is luffys straw hat or the gum gum fruit
When manga is collected into a hardcover, that's just a money grab. When manga comes out originally as hardcover AND ONLY hardcover, that's a great sign of respect.
Deluxe editions so far are boring as fuck. Look at something like "wheel of time" series. They look gorgeous compared to the boring deluxe editions of berserk, hellsing, etc. Like, actually make use of the size and not just oversize the paperbacks and write the name of the manga in big, bold letters. I don't get why manga can't get creative with their releases. Kodansha's parasyte hardcover release spells out "parasyte" on the spines. Kodansha's fist of the north star release has blood splattered. Yen press's Emma have these dust jackets that you can inverse to get an entirely new cover and spine. I really don’t care for deluxe editions. They are heavy, hard to read, take up space, and sacrifice cover art (which I really value).
The term you were looking for is "atlas" to describe your desired One Piece deluxe edition.
I wanna see Dandadan
Vagabond even though we have vizbigs. Bamboo editions
I Own Vinland Saga Manga Volumes 1-13 I'm Rebuying Vinland Saga The Deluxe Editions Volume 1-3 As Of 12-3-2023
the problem is the money ahahah
Viz Media's death note black editions which is print on black paper instead of white.
Hard disagree on the Berserk Deluxe take. I appreciate that the set actually matches for once ffs
Im waiting HARD on the Gantz Deluxe
WHERE IS ITTTTTTTTTTTTT
