I’m waiting for them to do the same with Attack on Titan after I just got all of the Colossal Editions haha Awesome that they are releasing these hardcovers. You’ll have to let me know what you think if you pick the Deluxes of Vinland Saga and good to hear from you!

The deluxe editions are always nice. However since i already have 12 of the original releases of Vinland saga it makes more sense just to continue collecting it that way. Intead of buying the same content again in a larger format and having to wait until it catches up with the original releases.

Just received mine an hour ago! I already got all the smaller hardcovers but even though I love the manga, I was never satisfied with the build, paper quality and weight. I’m still not sure wether I should sell them or keep both versions Anyway welcome back and great comparison video as always!

Welcome good to have you back after an extended hiatus very few good manga review channels left and you’re one of the originals . So honestly those square hardcover spines I HATE them almost a deal breaker for me I only have four Blade of the Immortal and that’s as far as I’ll get with the series honestly about the only “long “ series for me that tops the list is Blood On The Tracks it’s so existentially unpredictable suspenseful and surprising there’s no telling where it’s headed but it’s a sublime cautionary bittersweet tale of mental illness.
Got it ordered for $35 and looking forward to it as a first time reader of the series. As a newer subscriber, this is the first time I've been here for an upload. Great channel. You've helped inform several purchases of mine already and I like that the channel name sounds like a play on words of my favorite band lol.

Welcome back! I'm glad the deluxe edition has some form of "cover art" inside as an extra. The main thing that always makes me hesitant for deluxe editions or omnibus or the like is I really miss having a cover to just pull off the shelf and appreciate for a moment. Omnibus and deluxe editions should have all cover art by default (Homunculus why do you hurt me!)

Listen to Me is that gem of a series (same author as BotImmortal) Hiroaki Samura is a true mangaka to aspire to, going from dark brutal feudal japan to contemporary modern japan and how seeing any persons slice of life is just jovial.
