This is why these videos are important as the walkthrough examples your playing say about the Goblins getting disadvantage due to surprise, but the rule book dosnt it only says that if the heroes get advantage, and if the foes surprise you they get advantage and melee heroes get disadvantage. Which means if your like me and only read the Rulebook I would have never known they should be getting disadvantage during surprise, good thing I came here ;)

Yeah I know the example playthrough states that. But I'm not seeing that rule anywhere in the rule book. So im leaving that out.
Plus if you notice, there's only 4 tokens for advantage/disadvantage. So how are you supposed to mark the enemies if you have 4 characters. Hence I think it's either advantage OR (not AND) disadvantage

Awesome play through and storytelling.
But the fact that the cave map tiles are not placed orthogonally to each other when connecting them is triggering my OCD!

Hi all.
What if the Foe is only a melee during their attack turn ? Do I need to use dice in order to know if he hit or melee always hit? Thx

At 33:00, shouldn't you draw an Adventure card first, before you can Search?

Yes. The enemies scale for one character. I just started the game playing one character, but haven't played enough yet to decide if more would be a better way to go.
