I met Drew at an Arby's in Louisiana and he broke both of my legs with a bat. And when I woke up from the pain, my car was in a lake.
I saw him walking on the street in LA and when I walked passed him, he snuck behind me and knocked me out with a crowbar. I woke a couple hours later tied up to a chair and now I’m being held hostage for money. Drew is pretty nice though, he lets me play RuneScape.

Yes!! I've met Frank 3 times. He loads up his own gear, sells his own merch, after playing for hours and then makes sure he meets every last fan, and everyone gets a picture and autograph. He's the nicest, most humble man I have ever met. I'm so lucky to have had the dudes in MCR as my heros growing up! They're legit asf.

What's truly impressive is that it's a lot of people's job to do basically this, all day every day. Hosts in restaurants, greeters at stores. I've done that kind of work. actually- I had a similar experience! My mom was the woman who spray tanned them in a prank video, and I saw them at a movie theater once, they were sitting around and so I walked up to them, not wanting to be rude so I had apologized before I even said anything, and I told them my mother was in one of their videos, and I thanked them that she had that experience and they looked at me so annoyed and bored and I found it so rude- It was only Lucas and Marcus, so I’m not sure about the others, but this ALWAYS seems to happen with them, they’re just annoyed when they have to interact with fans and I find it so odd.
Yeah just rewatching this video now just gets me even more mad. You should NEVER have to apologise that somebody else, your idols, are acting like this when it’s literally their jobs! People pay for a good and fun experience with their idols, not whatever the fuck that was. I can’t say I know what it would be like to constantly be on tour for 2 days without sleep, but I do know that many many many other performers and celebrities go for much longer periods, and do energy consumer tasks like singing and dancing, and yet they still make time for their fans, even sometimes for free. I would like to believe that if that was me up there, I would do the same (not as the Dobre brothers, as everybody else who puts in the effort).

I met Tom Holland at ACE comic con in October, arguably one of the more popular people there. He must have been exhausted from jet lag and standing and meeting people all day. Still, he was extremely kind when I met him. I asked if we could hug in the picture and his reply was “Yeah we can!” If he’d treated me like this, I would have been crushed.

When I was living in Arizona, I went to a local music event. It wasn't anything major, but it was higher than just local-band-tier. The thing is, they didn't have THAT many groups on the lineup, so most were playing at least once for each of the seven days. This was also the second-to-final day.
Anyway, I broke off from my friend group and went to get something to drink, and decided to have a smoke. in the smoking section I met a woman who didn't smoke, but was there to get some peace and quiet. We started chatting about music and whatnot. Don't get me wrong, we weren't flirting or anything, we were just both social people having a chat. But we ended up vibing, and spoke for like 20 minutes.
We would have spoke more, but she had to go because "her band was on." Only then did I realise that was Emily Haines, lead singer/frontman of Metric, which was the major act of that event. Not only was she obviously incredibly humble about the whole thing (Metric never really got brought up besides me making a passing reference that I was kind of excited I'd be catching their act.), but again - we were speaking for 20 MINUTES, and she'd not just been performing forming once a day for 6 days before that, but then went and performed again afterwards.
No excuses, Dobre Brothers.

I know I am late, but I ashamedly used to like the Dobre Brothers, and I, too, met them. They behaved exactly like this. When they signed my shirt, I thanked them, and no one responded to me. They didn't say a word to me the entire time. So yeah, it isn't just her who was ignored. Probably all of the other fans as well.
From watching their videos, they dont even put in energy or production quality. They are literally just in it for the money. I'm so sorry you had to go through that I cant imagine meeting someone I love, only for them to look and act like I just woke them up.
