Bob, you are always so kind and respectful when you interview people. Thanks for sharing like you do. And thanks to Jody for her warm welcome into her awesome home.
Really Love how this lady puts it together and makes it work nothing fancy it just works plus having the nerve to cut the hole in the top I admire her she’s inspired me seriously
Very nice home👍🏽 Bob I so appreciate your professionalism skills of interviewing Van Dweller’s in respect to allowing/letting them talk and explain their “make-up” of their tiny homes without having to talk over them and not allowing them to share like other channels that talk so much about themselves that we NEVER get to find out about the interviewee. Thank you Bob!👏🏽🚎
I appreciate this as well. So many UA-camrs are doing it for their egos, and they never shut up! Bob...your focus always seems to be your viewers, and we appreciate it!
She seems like a very kind lady. These gals doing things themselves are so helpful, especially those of us you wouldn't be able to afford to pay someone to help us build these things.
@@jojo-ir9um Who replies a year later??..Where have you been?? Making biscuits? hahaAfter seeing your cooking video now I see why you took my comment to heart!! It hits close to home for you I see...lol
What a really cool space Jody has created. I laughed with Jody laughing at her mistakes with the bed. She did it, and what a great job too. You can't see any mistakes, and she has a really nice bed. Pretty cool. Thanks Bob for a great interview!
I think you did a great job Jody! The day may come when I do this type of thing. Not for sure...but maybe. And I am learning so much from everyone here. :)
Jody knows how to improvise well. A Quiet speaker but I learned a few things from her. I'll use the 5 gallon solution too. It's taller than the 3 gal. And maybe fits the seat better. Thanks Bob for interviewing Jody for us.
I admire this nice woman for constructing things to hv good order. Imagine the money she saved by using simple ideas. Everything is out of the way but easily assessible. I admire her efforts to create what she needs. Happy traveling and stay safe.
Bob, my husband and I have been following you for months. We put the 'for sale by owner' sign out on the lawn last night. And I am moving through the fear. And I am also very excited for our new upcoming freedom; a new life with no rent.
Cheri Monteith When you are feeling fearful it helps to deep breath with your diaphragm in order to fully feel and release the fear. Once you do that you will be able to get to the causal emotion and that will be release through crying. Good luck and God Bless
Thanks to Jody for sharing and thanks to Bob for finding people to share with all of us out here. Bob, you are getting pretty good with the editing...practically seamless. Thanks again!
Thank you Jody and Bob for this great video interview ,tour . Jody ,awesome work. "Easy", youve got to have the want to,Lol. 😂and yes, it can be done. Good for you both ,accomplishment is so sweet! Enjoy always Bobs interviews, tours. Anything!. Safe, happy journeys to all.
I enjoyed Jody and her tour very much, and Bob, I really enjoy the professionalism of all your videos, which are all very educational. Power to the Women!! We can do it just as good as a man! Who says we have to be standing in front of a kitchen sink all our lives?? Safe travels and God Bless!!
She did a great job of building by herself. Love her set up and I'm sure its a work in progress and changes she will also make later. Great job and Thanks for the video.
I’ve seen on ‘other’ channels welding an aluminum structure to make all the cabinets and working surfaces. Lots of work and by the time they have finished they have spent 100’s if not thousands for the materials and tools to do it. Once you do the welding you can’t change the layout unless you put in the effort to break it down. This method of using a drill and a hand saw seems much smarter. You can always finish the wood with paint or clear finish.
Delightful woman and a cozy, functional build. a credit to her creativity. but as a traveling artist myself I was excited to hear about her art on the road and to see her "studio". but I was to be disappointed, sadly. I hope she is still painting her landscapes and wonder what medium she uses.
Sweet Lady. She did a great job. I wonder if she could find the fantastic electric type fan to fit in the current space she cut out?? She seems so calm and content. Praying and fingers crossed this will be my life soon. Just Me Fur baby and lots of books. 💙
Love the ideas, nice job. I couldn't help but notice her van is same exact color as mine. 03 Savana Cargo van. Every time I watch these clips I get more ideas to work from.
Wow this Woman is determined to get it done by HERSELF and not have to ask anyone which there's nothing wrong for asking for help but i get it cuz i would much rather do something myself then ask :) Good Video Bob and i learned a few tricks and that's why we Love Your Videos and it just isn't Your Pretty Face Bob hehe
Thank you, Jody. I especially like the table in lieu of the passenger seat. I found five matching 4 drawer heavy duty metal file cabinets for my storage. I got crazy and painted them to look like a Shoji screen. A ton of storage for $10 each. I built shelves in a closet... not the best job... my cabinets turned out pretty, I am better with a can of paint than a screwdriver.
Gave me a few ideas! Great job. I bought a ROLA Adventurer Cargo pod & tray with the swing away hitch on Craigslist for 1/3 the cost of a new one to give me more storage too!!!!!!
These van builds make me feel so guilty for having a conversion van RV. All the work was done for me... it's convenient but not as elegant or functional as a custom home-built. Great job!
It’s so valuable for women to have this channel as a resource

I enjoyed learning about Jody. She is so laid back and kind. Amazing job on her build. Love that she did it on her own.

So well said and my feeling too.
Pretty darn good for No experience.! Nice job Jody.
She seems like a very open and honest person, even speaks of her mistakes.
What a great space...well done, Jody!!!
Thanks so much for this! I'm a single middle age woman and plan on making either a cargo van or box van my home. Spring 2018
Yes, please share! Have you managed to make the move yet?
Shine Light, did you make to head out this past Spring?
How are you getting on??.. I’m moving into my Hyundai trajet end of November full time.. x
Did you make the move?
Veronica King part time. I have a cat and still have a job. So I have a room and a Dodge campervan 👍🏽
Well done. The Cedar roof is beautiful.
The cedar slats give the ceiling a nautical look. It's a joy to look at.
There's something I really like about Jody. 👍🏻
I bet it's her cool mustache!! I know I love it!!

Another great video! Thanks.
My husband said this is the only woman he's seen that had enough tools and repair products in her van. ☺️
I think God assigns a special travel angel for all these nomads!

Impressive! Way to go Jody! Very cool setup.
Thanks for sharing!
Another great video.. I will be out there with everyone in 2026 when I retire. I have until then to pay off debt and get my van set up the way I want.
Super satisfying DIY isn't it Jody? Great job! Best wishes, *A.

Walmart has these $10 square fans. I used some bungee cords to hold the fan up and they work great. And you can change the way the fan faces
wonderful build. She is a cool lady. Thanks for sharing.
Very smart
Very good build 👍👍👍
Thank you for showing us we can do this too
Even though you say you do "not know how to do it", it looks very functional, and I say, "well done!"
You give me hope
She has it set up nice for herself. thanks
Great job on the van Jody!

Your little door table could be used as a drying rack, at least for small stuff.
good job! simple & practical
