- The illusive Flawless Raider trophy has evaded me for too long! Or maybe it was because my raid team liked to have sparrow races a little too close to cliffs in Vault of Glass. Regardless, this week's challenge mode is a flawless run of Crota's End. Can we do it?

I've never done a nightfall or any of the raids cause I never have time because of school and cause my friends don't have destiny.... I also rarely do the weekly cause again I don't have time and my friends don't do it... I'm a level 28 hunter could you help NKUCH, btw I'm subbed and love your vids

Lol people are insulted because Datto said cheesing is dumb or whatever? That's hilarious. Straight up you guys need to have thicker skins. My friends and I cheese when we have to and it didn't even phase me when he said that. It's just one guy's opinion. Keep up the videos Datto, thumbs up.
In one of his streames, he said "if you cheese or think cheesing is ok, leave, I don't even want you here", so this isn't the first time something like this has happened

Your all moaning at him because he's suggesting they make the hardest missions/events in the game harder. But no one can see this so you all dislike he's videos and give him grief, I think he is 100% right you shouldn't be cheating the whole raid for gear, it should be something hard to get raid armour, not something you can get quicker than a uncommon piece of armour.

technically, that isnt anyone's problem, just the scrubs that don't know how to do things right will have a problem, my mate only plays 1 hr a day because he has to work 8-9 hrs a day and he can do the nightfalls and the raid with little effort. If you're worried about them patching these cheese then go back to tetris, seems like a simpler game for a scrub.
damn Datto I thought you would have been had that flawless. I got mine back when Atheon was still buggy and would never teleport anyone during a flawless so we had to beat him without times vengeance
I just completed this achievement today with a group of 6 people but None of us have actually unlocked the achievement yet... We're hoping that it will just unlock after a little while (Which does sometimes happen with xbox one achievements). But I really hope it unlocks, we spent about 3 hours doing it over and over again.
Hycubis is the coolest. He doesn't say much but when he does he says the right things at the right time and more times than not they are funny as hell. Heil Hycubis!
I love to cheese cause i dont have alot of time, but i still love datto and im glad he says how he feels. Whether we agree or not will not make me unsuscribe, there is great merit to not cheese, the feeling of accomplishment is awesome, but for me cheesing crota raid is awesome because if not for the glitches and cheese i wouldnt be experiencing it at all. Like with vog...ive only had time to run it 5 times. This way causal gammer like me can keep up with u big dogs somewhat decent. Lol. Keep up the good work datto, i love ya buddy!

this weeks nightfall was not hard but I will give you last weeks nightfall "because of the Solar burn" was way to easy and I do agree that the burn modifier needs to be raised for them and lowered for us
All solid tactics on this run. Very orchestrated and deserving of Flawless Raider!!
It's funny how we can solo and get flawless now, and before we had to use intense callouts and it was so stressful haha

To all Christmas noobs: YOU NEED GJALLERHORN. It's honestly the best exotic to take out bosses really fast in strikes and raids. DO NOT WASTE YOUR SHARDS ON RAID ARMOR IN THE VAULT OF GLASS. You can buy your way up to 31 now (which pisses off a lot of people who grinded to get 30). BUY an exotic HELMET, they're seriously the best types of exotics just because getting other gear like Boots, Gauntlets and Chest Piece is really easy. A lot of the raid weapons from the VOG are way better than almost all 331 weapons you can buy from the vanguard and crucible vendors. That's just some advice a 32 would recommend. this weeks night fall is fucking easy i find it harder when the burn is the same as the majority of the enemies weapons

Another great vid! Your group gives me something to strive for as far as communication, efficiency, cooperation, and fun. Now I needs to find me and a trusty Fireteam bud a clan.
Burn's are great, makes bosses less bullet spongy and generally makes it more fun, especially when there's solar burn and my golden gun does the damage it should be doing in the first place. Can't even 4 shot a hallowed wizard, jeez...

Congratulations! I ran with my team the other night trying to go for this in VoG but, a Minotaur caught one of us in between reloading the Ghorn...we're gonna try it again cause I want that elusive little trophy.
i think there should be a nightfall raid option for each difficulty, having things like lightswitch, angry, epic, and maybe even an updated type of burn modifier. just a bit of extra challenge without out much difficulty from the devs
lets see people dislike your video because you said you dont want the nightfall to have burn for us. people just hate to work for good things, just let bungie hand it to you

Shards are still useful for us poor saps who haven't done a raid yet.
Datto, my only request of you, is try to view the things in games as a casual gamer. You say this game is way to easy or certain things are to easy, but for someone that plays an hour or two every other day, this game is quite the challange. If you make everything in this game rediculious lay hard, yah, it may be more fun for hardcore players, but casual players would get frustraited and stop playing the game. Like it or not, there is more casual then hardcore gamers. If all the casual players stopped playing the game, bungie would be forced to discontinue destiny due to lack of funding. The reason there is a enemies that attack you then disappear in cheese spots isn't to stop you from using them, their to make using cheese spots a "give and take". If you want the game to be a challenge, use weaker gear, don't make it harder for people that already find it hard. Just watch morninafterkill's video on the topic, he feels similarly to me. Destiny's "cheese" dosn't need to be fixed, breaking the network connection, hacks, and bugs need to be fixed. I've cheesed from time to time, not because I can't do it, because is rather spend some extra time doing it a safer route.
Robert Perry Here's the thing. I know plenty of people who play for an hour a day or less and are beasts at this game. I know plenty of people who play for an hour a day and are terrible. People seem to equate the word casual with being bad and that is not fair. If you wanted to argue that it's a time thing, then I could see that point of view. But people have this mentality that the more time you have to play the game, the better you must be and if you can only play for 20 minutes a day, you must be the worst player on the planet and that's not true. There's plenty of absolutely terrible players with more time spent in the game than me and I do this for a living. If people don't have the time, that's another story, but all I'm trying to say is that when the game is working how I believe Bungie thinks it should be working, there will be no shortcuts, no cheesing, no exploiting. If you want to leave cheesing in the game, fine, but at least reward people who do things legit, because there's no incentive to actually play the game the way it was supposedly designed over cheesing besides "being an elitist" as I've been called 100 times in the past 4 hours.
DattoDoesDestiny That's why the game needs a "challenge mode" for people willing to pull their hair out for a game.
DattoDoesDestiny that makes sense, there can be the harder content for "serious" gamers, aka people that are good that will give better loot. Like make soloing the nightfall and not ever wiping (as an example for an idea, there could be many ways to a actually implement it.) a much higher chance for dropping exotics. That rewards the players that do it how it was intended, but doesn't really punish those of the community that cheese it.

i agree...hell, i've cheesed many spots and i still find them freaking hard as hell...sooo....i like that destiny has these spots for gamers that find it just too difficult and if you want the challenge, just leave the comfy spot...
me and some of my clan members (sick of ur dark monarchy ps4) achieved this elusive trophy just last week in crota's raid and we did cheese the lamp and bridge part, that was it. and none of us felt the least bit guilty about it, its an achievement and we did it!! :D :D :D
the bridge is suck a fun part of this raid, i hate how most people want to skip it. hopefully bungie fixes the glitch soon

...or how about giving out Radiant Material for the Nightfalls? I mean I understand that not all people have the DLC, but there has to be some way for the logic in the code to be able to tell whether to give Ascendent Materials or Raidant Materials.

I don't see why people think Ascendent Energies/Shards are useless. Honestly, I'm content with getting them. Not from NFs but anywhere else. I have a 32 already and honestly, the Raid gear is garbage. It's only good use is just pushing you to level 32, and you really don't need to go past 30 for anything aside the Crota Raid. You're better off running Level 31 with specific gear, stats, and armor perks that synergize well then run as a Level 32 with your stats everywhere and half the perks not even working cause your not in the Raid.

Datto I want your opinion, I just completed the raid today for the first time, is it bad that I cheesed it because we had 3 lvl 28s 1 32 2 31s and the gear I got was the ship shader emblem helmet and fusion rifle

i actually think the nightfall burn is intended to help us not make things more difficult
thunderlord is actually really good but thankfully underrated so not many people use it in iron banner :P

I think you underestimate how difficult certain strikes with burn are already, imagine if this week was solar burn instead of juggler. That would be fucking insane, lvl 30 nightall valus already does a shit ton of damage, plus the ads are everywhere all the time shooting solar at you. Sure you can kill stuff faster, and maybe if you had 3 guys with maxed out HoC, mythoclast and black hammer it would be easier, but dying to one or two rockets with solar burn would be harder than it is now lol.

Dude no! Why wouldn't they benefit us? It sucks! The Nightfall doesn't even give a guaranteed Exotic why would they disable the burn for us?

Do you think there should be a nightfall version of the raids were it is more likely to drop raid armor and weapons but if your whole fireteam dies you go back to orbit and restart?
If u make the burns not useful for guardians then types of damage (solar, arc, void) would be redundant.
