A few weeks ago this time was outside of what I thought was possible for this map. This run is near perfect with only a small bit of time left to save for 25 cycle. Finally getting a zombie blood in the ending, I'm happy leaving this map with this time for a while.
NEW STRATS:
Turning on gen 4 before getting 2nd robot. This makes making 25 cycle easier since you're doing more before getting the wind staff pieces
Skipping trios saves 10 seconds, as it makes the rain fire robot cycle come 10 seconds earlier.
Potential time saves: There isn't much. You can save maybe 5 seconds in the 100 kills segment, and getting reign drops earlier in that last cycle. Other than that, 23 cycle is close to mandatory at this point (when we figure out how to get it consistently)

You can insta kill a panzer with staff on instakill ?? You did it with the base wind staff (worst staff against panzer)
Why did you swap for fire staff at the very end even tho you can’t use it
Also why didn’t you shoot a charge shot on maxis drone to instakill panzers or is that only bo2 and did you do it for the possibility of a panzer dropping a zombie blood

beat the bo2 origins easter solo for the 2nd time in my life today for shits and gigs. wanted to see the wr speedrun for bo2 and bo3. says this vid was released 2 hours ago. pretty cool coincidence. also congrats

When you go to pick the first lightning staff part, why do you go to back and forth? Is it so the game register it as legit?

How did you do the acend from darkness step? Did you just down and grab each staff inbetween downing? I couldnt really tell what you were doing it was going so fast😂
every time i down with self med and a staff in my mule kick it gives me the staff back, so i just do that 3 times

I've recently started casually speedrunning origins so I've got a few questions if you don't mind.
1. When upgrading wind how is it that you are able to shoot the gen 5 wind statue towards gen 5? I thought the smoke had to go towards excavation or at least close to it.
2. How exactly do you slide cancel without jumping? Unless I'm just seeing wrong you sometimes slide cancel into another without leaving the ground.
3. Why did you bother saving gen 4 when it was attacked? I thought you didn't need the gens for this ee
4. Are thermal sights a preference for you or is there a reason that you use them?
5. Do you have any strange keybinds or are they just whats comfortable for you?
6. Do you have any other maps you plan on pushing for wr in the future?

1. I'm not sure the technical reason why it works,, but there's certain lineups you can do to shoot them and they still complete the step. Scrappy's practice tool has a practice patch where u can test them yourself
2. Swap weapons right before you slide
3. You need the gens to complete steps 1 and 5. After skewer you can let the gens die, but you need them to spawn the AFD holders as well as let u tp to activate the cutscene (this check ends after u grab maxis for skewer tho)
4. Makes it easier to see zombies, since they blend in fairly well in this map
5. Just what's comfortable. I used to slide with CTRL, but it hurt my pinky after a while so I moved it to my mouse, for example.
6. Not currently. We'll see what the future has. I wanna grab some coops of this at some point

How do you avoid the death barrier for the first lighting staff part? Can you just disable it by walking to the stairs in bo2? I was under the assumption there was some timer based check that kills you
you're exactly right, we just know the timer that it kills us on and we can avoid it. just like bo2 we run to the stairs to disable it

God run, first time watching this route, so I got some doubts.
1- Getting out of lightning tunnel is templar on 5 preferred?
2- Not packing the M8A7 is a planned thing? Seems you do not need it.

1. yes, 5 is the best. 3 is also good bc its pretty quick
2. i probably should've after i filled the mound box, but i know i didnt need it because i knew i would get reign drops back
Do you plan on doing an Any percent Run ? Especially with the use of Round Robbin
Or the classics/no gobble runs but implementing the new strategies as those runs are old
any% ill play if someone beats it, been thinking ab classics or no gums so maybe that next
@@ross_aiden classics and no gums are old records now and they aren’t updated when it comes to their strategies to implement new things for example getting the lightning part right off spawn etc

Why do you use self med and go down on purpose, and how come you didn’t place the staffs in the robots before breaking the seal? Awesome stuff btw
it duplicates staffs, lets me hold 2 staffs, and lets me do the fire staff glitch. freckleston has some good guides explaining it

it can be beaten but not because of that. i still made the rain fire cycle, so that timeloss didnt really matter

there's no plutonium for bo3, its an ojumpy perk mod

Bro how in the fuck do u do that first jump to get the purple staff piece it looks easy I've tried it like 23 times now think I might've been close once I get the first part no problem but the back up and jump again fails every time or I accidentally walk off the edge idk if it's something only PC can do cuz of fov slider or I'm jus bad at it

this run is spliced bro you splice it over the falling transitions. you can tell from takeos voicelines not matching throughout the game.
