My husband and I started watching your channel a couple years ago. He and I had been married 25 years and kiddos are out of house. So we dreamed of doing what you guys are doing. Back last October I lost my husband to covid. The past 5 months I have been trying to figure out my future without the love of my life. I am still going to buy a cat and sail. You have inspired me to keep going forward. Now I just have to learn to sail....keep the videos coming.
I've got a story, mate. Back in 1988, a good friend introduced me to a co-worker who wanted to learn about skydiving. Her name was, La Faye. She was a pretty girl and seemed like the adventurous type, so I was more than happy to help. We soon planned a trip to the old Free Fall Ranch in Warm Springs, where she could take an observation flight to see what it was all about. She had to wear a parachute for the ride, because an observer seat is really nothing more than a seat-belt bolted to the floor, right next to the door. Me and two other jumpers squeezed into the small Cessna with her, and we rattled off down the runway. As we climbed in slow circles up through the stifling summer heat, La Faye seemed happy as a clam, scrunched in between us, the door and the pilot. At 7,500 ft. the plane leveled off and the pilot called, “Jump run!”. He popped the door open and a loud rush of cool air filled the cabin. The other two jumpers and I quickly climbed out over our observer’s lap and got into position. We clung there, outside of the plane, for just a few seconds before dropping away to the earth below. But it was in this moment that I suddenly saw La Faye in a new way. Sitting there in the open door of that little plane, her hair blowing in the wind, I could see that she was fearless. She looked at us with a child-like joy in her eyes. I could see that she understood why we did this and that she wanted to do it, too. She was smart and beautiful and ready to live a life full of adventures. She was something special. Not many men can pinpoint the exact moment when they fell in love with their wife, but I can. It was 34 years ago in the skies over Warm Springs. It was the day that I literally fell for my wife.
I met someone in 1987 at university. She was the most amazing woman I’d ever met. Circumstances meant that we were not meant to be together for almost three decades. We’ve been married now for six years. She is still the most amazing woman I’ve ever met.
My comment belongs here with Paul's story. Riley, some people think I rushed the whole relationship and proposed on our third date. But what most people don't know is that it was a relationship that started on pause and was not allowed to start for a long, long time. I was in love at first sight, but she was sixteen and I was nineteen and living fifty miles away in college. We were both in relationships. For a long time, it was a secret that only I knew about. She never knew how I felt about her. Ten years later, I took her on our first date. I proposed three weeks after that. People think I rushed, but I think I was very patient. Our 30th anniversary will be this year. It has been a dream come true. I have really enjoyed watching your two evolve into three and now four. This was a particularly touching episode. Thank you Elayna and Riley.
After just under 40 years together , my wife was dying of Cancer and one of the last things she said was If she could go back , she would still have married me.
I can remember EXACTLY where I was, on a pay phone, at a gas station, talking to Maria when I made the decision to love her the rest of my life, 30 years ago!
Honestly, if reincarnation is real, I wanna come back as Lenny, he has the best life, and totally cool parents, what an epic childhood to have and it can only get better.
lol I'm sorry.... *Lenny is definitely a legend (as Riley would say 😂), but I'm totally going to place my bet on little Darwin, HE'S FULL OF 🔥 FIRE 😂 I think Darwin's going to be a freak of nature!!! He's fearless!!!!!*
My husband and I have been married for almost 28 years. In that time there have been so many wonderful moments but I will post 3 of my absolute favorites 1 and 2 have to be the births of are wonderful daughters. 3 will always stick with me. I had accidentally became pregnant with are first only a few weeks after meeting my husband. I was afraid that I would be alone raising a child but we went to the mountains of Colorado USA to decide what we were going to do. After talking for what seemed to be forever we still hadn't came to a decision. So we go into the car and headed for home. My husband is a LEO and told me he needed to stop at the LEO'S uniform shop on the way home because he needed something. We parked and he told me he would be right back. So I sat worrying in the car when he came out with a bag. My door opened and he got down on one knee as he pulled a lg stuffed bear dressed as a law enforcement officer from the bag. I started to cry and he asked me to marry him. From that day on I have called him Teddy. Anyone that knows us for a bit of time will always ask why I call him Teddy when his name is James and I tell them the story of how he asked me to marry him and by the end I am always told how wonderfully romantic it is and how lucky I am to have found my bff, soul mate, and husband. After Almost 30 years of marriage I can say I wouldn't want to spend my life with any other person just my Teddy.
My favourite moment is how obviously healthy your relationship is by being able to openly talk about and acknowledge the serious arguments you've had with each other.
It is pure joy to watch your life unfold. The success you’ve enjoyed is well deserved. You are a sweet couple and an inspiration to us all. I hope these adventures continue for many years. Smooth seas and flowing winds to you!
It feels like ive only been watching for maybe 2 years, but this shows that ive been watching for a good 5 1/2 years… btw im only 15 so really ive been along with you guys for a third of my entire life which is absolutely crazy to think about 🤙
You guys should watch the deep This show practically ignited my love of the ocean even tho I had little interest 🌊🌊😍😍😍 It's a story about a family living in and exploring the ocean as well as finding mythical mysteries (which probably aren't real). They do all of this on a big submarine.
I absolutely love that Elayna has on the shorts she found on the beach! It truly shows how down to earth she is! I’d wear them! They are adorable and she rocks them! It’s like someone left them just for her!! Sending love and a huge congratulations from the Pacific Northwest 🌲🇺🇸🐻
@@SailingLaVagabonde hell yeah!!! They were definitely too cute to leave on the beach!! Thanks for the commit… made me smile on a hard day!! Stay safe! Much appreciation from the Pacific Northwest 🌲🇺🇸🌲
I love family time. I married a proud Scots woman and a fantastic piper. We got to know each other at Highland Games across the Pacific Northwest of the USA and Southern BC Canada. Some of my best moments were when our kids joined our pipe and, The Tacoma Scots and played the solo part of Amazing Grace at age 10 and became full fledged members of the band, at our anuall Robert Burns Dinner. We have been playing together ever since and they are both college graduates. Married 28 years and still loving it. Sail on LA Vaga!
you seriously make my monday every single week. whether its laughing at lenny’s little personality or relaxing to the beautiful views and underwater shots. thank you for bringing us on your adventures 🥺
Damn, wasn't expecting to get this emotional whilst eating my breakfast this morning :) Strange to think how many years Ive been enjoying watching your lives unfold, and loved it all. Thanks!
I’m not crying, bloody dust in my eyes….. you guys have made my Tuesday every week for a couple of years now. Life and love goals 💕 no one favourite video, they are all magic 🪄 congrats guys, cheers 🍻 from the Gold Coast 🇦🇺
This video is just epic. Seeing your current happy family life interspersed with the romantic history of you two is too good - and the animations, as always, are just top notch. The high C's! 🥰

Thanks for sharing your romance! My wife and I have had many romantic and scary moments that have brought us closer over our 36 year marriage. It seems like you can’t ever plan the moments that bring you closer. Often as not they are moments you think you might lose one another and those are the times you can’t imagine life without the other. It took me 20 years before I appreciated the things my wife did that I thought were stupid. When Elayna is acting all goofy you might want to appreciate that most of us loose that ability when life has hit us in the face for too long. Someone once said, you like people for the things you have in common, but you love them for their differences. Happy sailing!
My most memorable moments were when my Boyfriend made a sign . he carved out the word "broken" in a piece of wood and handmade an arrow, broke it in half and attached it onto the sign below the word "arrow". he also stood outside collecting rainwater into a decanter, sealed it shut . He hung up the sign above our bed and got me to close my eyes & sit on the bed. he handed me the decanter while telling me he loved me so very much. I opened my eyes and seen the sign & knew what the decanter had in it. My favorite song was "broken arrow" by Rod Stewart. tears a came!! The other time a few months later , i came home from my nursing job and my youngest, who was 3 at the time took my hand and led me into the living room to sit down. All 3 of my young children came into the room one by one all dressed up,the 2 girls in dresses with ponytails and my son in a little suit . they knelt down side by side in front of me and each gave me a flower. then my Boyfriend came in dressed in a suit and knelt down and they all asked me to marry daddy and he asked me to marry him. We did not ever get married, but a few years later we did walk around the dining room table because the kids seen it in a movie and that meant we were married. We broke up years later when i had cancer. its ok, we are good friends. He has a longtime girlfriend whos great and im looking for that someone that wants to explore the oceans and lands around the world like you guys. maybe someday i will find someone, or maybe it will be just me exploring. till then I love your Love, I love watching your beautiful family grow and experience life and the wonders it has to offer. PS.. i still have my sign and my bottle of rain and every once in a while my ex asks me if i still have it ;)
I loved those 2014 episodes so much. Its kind of like a musicians first album. All the rawness and pure emotion poured out. I still love your videos but i have a great connection with maybe the first 30 episodes. So happy for you guys. A life's not a life untill you live it! xoxo
I am single. So I will tell you about the time I watched Riley (while on the Beneteau) cry because Elayna had conquered a fear. He explained his tears and was thankful, in-love, and so so proud of her. Endearing moment.
My husband of 35 years is a Maverick of a man and that quality has served our family many more times than it has driven me mad. Takes a strong woman to not clip the wings of a cowboy but you end up with a love you can hang your hat on. We have a one year old granddaughter that brings this rock of a man to literal tears he loves her so much. Lucky 7 guys - Congratulations to two Mavericks and all that you’ve accomplished. Cheers to adventures on and beyond the horizon. Could not imagine LaVaga now without the boys even tho been watching since the beginning. Not to hurry up time, but legendary their relationship will be.
Just wanted to say, the wording and rhythm of this comment was so satisfying. Felt like I read a little vignette and -- even just from three sentences -- you gave such a rich picture of you and your husband and your relationship 💚
The last love of my life came along in Orlando, Fla. We met at a convenience store as two new hires learning the business and each other. We had only my motorcycle between us and no days off together. She rigged it with the manager for us to have a Saturday off together. After my two days off, she told me we had one off together and asked. "What are we going to do?" She wasn't exactly shy! I suggested we do Disney World. She'd never been on a bike but whe was game. The first turn we took, she nearly put us in a ditch leaning the wrong way. In time she learned how to be a passenger (you have to steer together, unlike in a car) and came to love riding behind me, twisting her hand over my shoulder to signal she wanted to go faster. On a bike that didn't register speeds over 80 mph. Unaware of our true speed on a dark, lonely road, I had us up to 130! (As measured by her son following us on my other bike. Its speedo went up to 150 so he knew our speed when we didn't! We rode a lot of miles together between 1980 and 2010 before she passed away at the age of 82 in 2017. I still miss her terribly at times but we had a wonderful life together as man and wife. . .and best friends!
We've been on this journey with you guys the whole time. It's really hard to adequately thank you for all of the good times. Laughs and cries, babies and crews, all you've taught us and introduced us to... Thank you.
When you guys finally got on the cat and looked a each other and laughed and hugged. That was my fav. Now I can’t wait for the trimaran and watching the boys grow up.
Brilliant video as always but also it makes me realize that when you have someone that loves and supports you anything possible. My wife's listened to me banging on about you guys for the past 5 or 6 years in which time I've bought a FP 40ft and learned to sail round NZ with the wife joining in but tolerating my obsession. Now,, with her, we plan to sell up everything and buy a catamaran in Europe and spend 2 or 3 years seeing as much of the world as possible. Many thanks to you guys for the inspiration.
I found your channel when I had just had a daughter. She’s 5 now. My wife and I run a small business and Covid was a huge challenge. We have been able to stay open but it was tough. The struggle has definitely grown us and brought us closer. She is amazing. I love her so deeply. We also had our second baby during the pandemic. He’s 6 months. All the time watching you guys was crazy inspiring. If you can sail the world with 2 kids, we can get through this too. Congratulations on all you’ve been through the love, the life and the family you’ve made. Blessings on your journey. Thanks for bringing us along.
I’ve been with my wife 18yr+ we have our ups and downs but 3kids and overall being so very lucky with many experiences we will be forever. I will be there for them as life is always tragic and epic…hunt surf live as it’s the only life we remember. One life goal is to just see you one day on my travels- I have my best life you have yours- congrats on the ratbags
Romantic was the word on my mind whilst watching this. Then when you said it at the end I was like… THATS IT!!!! SLV IS A WONDERFULLY ROMANTIC ADVENTURE . THE FRUIT OF WHICH ( the boys ) IS A JOY TO BEHOLD. BLESS. ✌️& ❤️
Most memorable romantic moment for a couple of Aussies living on a remote island in the Solomons…. One of our first moments together holding hands floating in a dark lagoon with phosphorescence all around us and a million stars above 🥰
My husband and I met on a schooner and started dating the exact time y'all started dating. We instantly made plans to buy our own boat and live freely. Seven years, almost eight years, later, we have three kids and live on our own schooner just doing our thing! Cheers to cruisers and liveaboards everywhere :D
I've been watching you from the start (always looking forward to the next video), before my wife passed away she would call you guys "my other family".......I guess to an extent that's true to a point since you've opened your lives to the world. Wishing you the best, always.
Riley is an absolute legend. The fact that he said "I love you" first while in a leaky cabin, is even more evidenced towards why he is the coolest guy on Earth. lolololol
Yours was the first sailing channel I started watching; I started from the beginning, but not until about 2016. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us. I started dating this great guy in 1991. By about our 4th date I knew I was in trouble! He too said “I love you” first. But I may well have fallen first, I was just too shy and uncertain to say it! Now 30 years, 4 grown kids, some hard times, 3 grandkids, and many smiles later, he’s still my best friend! We both now have Jeeps and a small camper that we use to escape the craziness of the city, the rat race, enjoy nature, and one another’s company. I’m so blessed!
Literally balled I met my wife going on 7 years, and have been watching y’ally’all hole way!! I never had a dream till I met my wife am on way to what most wouldn’t understand in a dream to my reality! Y’all capture that an have been so thankful to let us join! Life tough with beautiful moments, the ones that change you seem to be the best that stick around. Thank y’all for loving the dreams chasing dreams creating freedom and inspiration for those looking for inspiration grateful for all the love y’all give. We wish nothing but love creative inspiration, endless dreams for baby Darwin and Lenny and wish nothing but love and safe travels for all you and your family, true legends!!!!
Memorable moment... watching my husband pass out whilst I birthed our child. You guys are the best. Love all you do... the good, the bad, and the ugly. ❤
You two! You just made an old man cry. Been following your journey for a long time now and love the vlogs and the Lenny inputs now. Wont be long before he has his own youtube plaque. Here the the memories and a future none of us know. Fairwinds. Greg 🇬🇧
Epic - today is my wife and I’s wedding anniversary and we are big fans of the channel! So we are thrilled by the timing of this video 👍 cheers from landlocked Canberra
Stay in the moment and enjoy another year of life. Share the love you make and the world will be a better place. Weird juggling of lyrics but you get the idea. What you do matters to so many people.
I've been watching since the begining. You were the first sailing channel I watched and you're still the best. You two are the reason my wife and I bought a sailboat and it has brought the two of us closer together. I wish you many many more years of happiness, you are an inspiration!
I was having a little bit of chest pain, and my boss took me to the ER "just in case". It went away the second I got there, but they made me stay. I didnt call my wife, because nobody was worried, but she found out and came up there. She was pretty pissed. After another few hours I got a blood test back that showed I HAD a heart attack. I was told that no, I wasnt going home. I was going in for heart surgery in 2 hours, and did I want to see a person of faith to speak to? I guess that night I realized how much I loved her and how much I wanted to stick around. I had never been so close to that void before and it scared the shit out of me. There have been a million more things since that have brought us closer together, but that was the big one for me. I was 33.
Today is another Anniversary when my beloved bride of 49 years went to Heaven. For thirty years I shared the love of lifetime with the girl of my dreams. We had so many good times cruising the San Juan & Canadian Gulf Islands in our 5280 Prima Yacht. She would’ve loved watching y’all over these past few years when I found you on the Monohull. I wish y’all every good thing, and pray for a hedge of protection around your precious family. May the Lord Continue to Bless You & Keep Y’all…
I so appreciate your channel, it is getting me through some dark times. I love your adventures, your sense of humour, attitude to life and the precious earth we inhabit. I am even picking up a wee bit of sailing knowledge, which is pretty amazing since I am a Scot from the highlands, 50 miles from the sea! Thank you xx
watching this episode puts so much of my own life into perspective. i can’t believe i’ve been following you guys since 2016. it’s sooo wild. i tune in every single week and i look forward to it. i’m so happy for you guys and how much you’ve grown! thank you for sharing your lives, experiences, and parts of the world i would never be able to see otherwise 🤍 also riley loved seeing you on bert’s pod!
You guys rock ! its simply just wonderful to see how far youve come , as to have had the chance to watch you grow as a family Love & light to you both & of course the boys looking forward to seeing you all on the new boat in the New year , keep on keepin on & always remember just what an important and truly amazing example you all are for humanity x
Wow , what amazing journey and amazing famliy , following you guys for the last 7 years .. I don't believe that 7 years runs so fast , it was really fun to recap on all those amazing milestones - thanks for sharing this keep sailing !!!
I have been watching for years now I’m from America, Missouri exactly I have never been on a sail an just watching you guys makes me so happy! I have a full time job and hope to run away with my soul mate one day too.
I discovered you at the beginning of Covid and have been hooked since. Your adventures make me smile as I look out into the snow covered hills surrounding my home north of Toronto, Canada. Your little boys remind me of the absolute joy of raising my three sons. It just keeps getting better… they are blessed to have you both as parents as you are blessed to have found one another♥️ sending love from afar.
It's so interesting to watch the way successful people started out - there was no guarantee you'd make it, but you kept taking the next step, and here you are today, the top sailing channel! Pretty inspiring - glad you kept at it!
Love it, I have been watching since the beginning, your editing style has grown immensely, music discoveries in your videos, horizons expanded. I love how you two keep laughing together, keep doing that no matter how stressful life gets it is key, looking forward to where the wind blows you too next. what a great trip down memory lane episode, you two are master story tellers. Happy Anniversary!
GREAT STORY OF YOUR LAST 7 YEARS!! Being emotional is ok Riley:-) You seem to be an extraordinary guy, and showing your inner emotions to thousands of people is fantastic. Your better half is a tough cookie, making sure the family is one unit. Amazing. You desire to spend time together exploring the world in a 45 foot boat is really nice to follow. I wish you all the best in the future. You are one of the reason why my wife and I have invested in a trimaran and will slowly start our adventure this summer. Take care and always stay safe:-)
I am a guy and I have to say that this video guys it put me into tears... So emotional... Love your family, you give me guys very good vibes to continue chase my dreams & my goals. Showing you doin life its one of the things that make me happy & fill my heart with passion!!! Thank you Eleyna & Rilley!
I loved this video. Started watching y’all in 2020 .. and seeing most everything that got y’all to where you are today is extremely motivating for where I’m at. So many times have I said I could never do that but want too so bad. But y’all hit 90% of my worries about sailing and much more in that one video. Hope to meet y’all one day by coincidence! Love the videos
The sound of that mast/boom squeak WAS crazy when multiplied thousands of times around the clock. What proved to be the ultimate solution? Losing that nice Mahi Mahi off the gaff and into the sea in 2014 blew me away. That was just before I started watching. When you're going slow in shallow water as you were doing in the Exumas, it's the ideal time to tow one or 2 behind the boat.
Don’t know how but I stumbled on to you guys from the very beginning, first or second episode and was hooked and have seen you both grow into a beautiful couple and now family. I’m so proud of you both and all you have accomplished. ( can I pre-order the book?) Please be safe and continue to take my with you on your utube adventures. Thank you and God please the four of you.
I want to share so much of our 42 year matrimony but it pales compres to yours of 7 years. Congratulations to both of you and to very many more happy years together. Learning to rely on each other for different things in different times of your lives makes a rich relationship. enjoy each other and HUG often!
I am in my 39th year with my wife and high school sweetheart. Yes life has its ups and downs but when you share them with a true love and God is in the middle then how can three strands of rope intertwined possibly be broken in lifes storms. Cheers from Canada and congrats on 7 years
Awww, literally beamed ear to ear watching this! I only discovered you guys in 2020 but have dipped into the archives many times since then, I loved the monohull trip from Panama to NZ and was it French Polynesia(?) the most I think though! It's so cool to see it all summed up in this video as now I've got even more bits to head back and re-watch. Your commitment to this lifestyle + channel is really inspiring. My partner and I are a couple of grubby vanlifers who just want to keep on travelling as long as we can! X
We dont sail, been on a boat less than 10 times, but me and my wife's best times was traveling and camping or just staying in small cabins in mountains driving dirt roads. Its always nice just to be on a adventure and discovering new places together. Greetings from south africa. I have been watching your sailing videos from when you got the catamaran. Enjoy it a lot.
I can't really say it was one moment. I met her and we got together like really quick from day 1. what was different was definitely me, because I had been in relationships with girls and had the tendency to do everything for my gal ( happy wife happy life right) but forgetting myself along the way so this time it was more like: I love you. and if you wanna be together with my, here are my corpses in the basement, my bad habits and everything. you still wanna be together meet me halfway. and since then we've been together but we rocked pretty hard times like cancer, depression which went on for years and throughout this hard times we kept on talking deeply with each other made sure to communicate open and directly with each other and that's probably the reason we are still together for 5 years and living in a one room apartment of 25 squaremeters XD
Lenny is so funny, always makes me laugh. I’m working my way through every video you have posted. Started on ep 1, up to ep 92 now. But I always watch the new vids when you post them. Much love from Canada eh!!
I worked at the same company as my wife for 4+ years before I finally noticed she was flirting. 3+ years later I proposed and she didn’t actually say yes, but rather “ok”. 22 years after that and here we are still having fun and now ready to start some new adventures in the next year or so. It’s been great following you guys through the years!
Groovy episode. Been following your adventure since the very beginning. Can't pick just one favorite moment watching you two, because in there own way they are all so magical. After all, by way of my computer, I was on ever adventure with you. As for that special moment with my GF, SHE LITERLLY SAVED MY LIFE. Enough said! Big smile.
So I've been with my girlfriend for 9 years and I always said from the day we met I would never get married. I recently had surgery and couldn't have made the recovery with out her. Three weeks after surgery we are engaged. I finally realized what an idiot I was for waiting so long lol.
@Monique; hi Monique. I heard Bobby of Sailing doodles is always on the look out for female sailing ⛵ partners. Do get in touch with him. He's a handsome guy and he seems to be doing alright with his boat. Best of luck.
Chapter 4 Our fondness for each other grew, Loving snow and water skiing, just part of the great outdoors. We were made for each other and married 6 months later. The sailing was great, and still is. We have been together for 35 years. Thanks Riley and Elayna for sharing your adventure over and under the blue ocean. One of my favorite quotes is from Helen Keller who said in her wisdom, “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. Keep the Adventure going.
Happy Anniversary! Okay My story is crazy-I lined up a one night stand with one of my co-workers boyfriends roommates. I was so serious I didn’t want any relationship. I met the roommate and i went over all the terms and conditions. Lol! We had this perfect one night stand and Omygosh we have been together ever since. We went to Las Vegas got married at The Little Chapel Of Flowers. This is so crazy because on January 28th we just celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary. PeaceAndLove Lori
Now I just have to learn to sail....keep the videos coming.
may he rest in peace.. hope your endeavors are successful!!
What a beautiful tribute to the love of your life.
Good luck with getting help from bennateu. They build Lagoon boats ........ and we have seen how helpfull they are for Owners ! Especially the 45s!
I am so sry :(
🙏
It was the day that I literally fell for my wife.
that was so beautiful
I swore she jumped out with you. Maybe her heart did.
This is a true love story.
That’s so cool!
I spend all day on the internet, but this is the most well written and most beautiful love story ever.
I met someone in 1987 at university. She was the most amazing woman I’d ever met. Circumstances meant that we were not meant to be together for almost three decades. We’ve been married now for six years. She is still the most amazing woman I’ve ever met.
tell us more! i.e. how you stayed in-touch, when you remet
@@andrewcshin2 @paul brown yes, tell us more! We're invested now, what an amazing story
Owwww** Congrats! A lots of Happiness ***
So sorry about your wife. Sounds like she loved you so
🙏i’m so sorry for your loss. You must have been a wonderful life together🖤
I can remember EXACTLY where I was, on a pay phone, at a gas station, talking to Maria when I made the decision to love her the rest of my life, 30 years ago!
Aww this is amazing Nathan ❤️🌻 congrats you two!!
Beautiful!
This is so beautiful, thanks for sharing your story 🥺🥺🥺❤️
Awwwwww
My favourite moment is how obviously healthy your relationship is by being able to openly talk about and acknowledge the serious arguments you've had with each other.
It is pure joy to watch your life unfold. The success you’ve enjoyed is well deserved. You are a sweet couple and an inspiration to us all. I hope these adventures continue for many years. Smooth seas and flowing winds to you!
This is.the better part of the internet.😁
It feels like ive only been watching for maybe 2 years, but this shows that ive been watching for a good 5 1/2 years… btw im only 15 so really ive been along with you guys for a third of my entire life which is absolutely crazy to think about 🤙
I felt the same. I remember when we thought his neck was broken and I didn’t think it was so long ago!
I've been watching for 3 and I'm 15 as well
You guys should watch the deep
This show practically ignited my love of the ocean even tho I had little interest 🌊🌊😍😍😍
It's a story about a family living in and exploring the ocean as well as finding mythical mysteries (which probably aren't real).
I thought those were the shorts!
That funny I knew it was those shorts and she is rocking them. Great find.
Hahahah best shorts 🤣🙌 no one has written in to claim them so I’m just going to keep rocking them for now..
Thanks for being here x
Yep💙🌍💙🌍
Damn, wasn't expecting to get this emotional whilst eating my breakfast this morning :) Strange to think how many years Ive been enjoying watching your lives unfold, and loved it all. Thanks!
It's like the Waltons at sea. G'night Riley, G'night Elayna, G'night Lenny, G'night Darwin.

"Thanks for doing life with me" in my 64 that has to be the sweetest words I've ever heard spoken to someone. Absolutely brilliant Elayna.
This comment above!!! 100%!!
Beautiful comment.
PS.. i still have my sign and my bottle of rain and every once in a while my ex asks me if i still have it ;)
KEEP ON LOVING GUYS.
I’ll never forget the first moment I saw my life’s love, that was 48 years ago. We’ve never been apart since.
I still miss her terribly at times but we had a wonderful life together as man and wife. . .and best friends!
she said: thanks for doing life with me'' how beautiful words to close this beautiful video of you guys ❤
Thank you for the happy distraction from all the craziness in the world!
The fringe! The fringe he cut to look like the rest of you was a heart melting moment too! 🥰❤️😂
That made me laugh out loud :)
You two! You just made an old man cry. Been following your journey for a long time now and love the vlogs and the Lenny inputs now. Wont be long before he has his own youtube plaque. Here the the memories and a future none of us know. Fairwinds. Greg 🇬🇧
You guys rock! Life's been difficult of late... yet I smile on Mondays watching your videos. This was no exception. Love you story! Sending you hugs!
Beautiful story
Epic - today is my wife and I’s wedding anniversary and we are big fans of the channel! So we are thrilled by the timing of this video 👍 cheers from landlocked Canberra
Love, love, love your love for each other, your boys, sailing and your friends!
❤❤❤❤❤
You guys are the only reason why I look forward to Monday’s! Your channel has been a saving grace during these crazy times 🤙🏾
I can't believe it's been 7 years. Been watching since the 1st episode. Time has flown by. You guys are awesome. Looking forward to the next 7 years.
Stay in the moment and enjoy another year of life. Share the love you make and the world will be a better place. Weird juggling of lyrics but you get the idea. What you do matters to so many people.
Those flash back clips are amazing !
It’s been epic becoming part of your UA-cam family. So thankful you two have made it this far. The world needs your story.
I always enjoy revisiting this one.. thanks for being you.
Aww! 🥺 What a special video. I love watching your story, you guys, and thanks so much for sharing it with the world! 💕
May the Lord Continue to Bless You & Keep Y’all…
I’ve been watching you guys since the beginning and i loved seeing this recap. Great work guys and i cant wait to see what’s next!
This has bought me to tears! Such amazing memories and it’s so nice to you both as a couple thrive! Happy Anniversary both!
Love love love this video!
watching this episode puts so much of my own life into perspective. i can’t believe i’ve been following you guys since 2016. it’s sooo wild. i tune in every single week and i look forward to it. i’m so happy for you guys and how much you’ve grown! thank you for sharing your lives, experiences, and parts of the world i would never be able to see otherwise 🤍 also riley loved seeing you on bert’s pod!
Happy 7 years ♡♡♡♡ Love you guys!!
Loved watching this one :) I've been watching for so long and it was so fun to see all the old footage. Thank you for making the world a better place!
This couple is a blast from the first video I ever saw. Right after Riley bought the boat in northern Italy. Its my hope, all get to follow along.
Been watching since before you had lenny, crazy to see how far you guys have came. Y’all are so awesome ❤️
Enjoyed this amazing video with you very much. More journeys, please! Thank you! : )
Happy Anniversary!! "\0/" Riley looks the same, but Elaina you went from a pretty young girl to a beautiful woman, :>)
Motherhood has a way of change a pretty girl to a beautiful women.
Thankyou for the wonderful adventures .
Lenny is so funny, always makes me laugh. I’m working my way through every video you have posted. Started on ep 1, up to ep 92 now. But I always watch the new vids when you post them. Much love from Canada eh!!
Congratulations!!!! All the best and lots of love
Big smile.
All I could do was smile and laugh at all your moments it’s amazing to see 🙌🏻
So beautiful. Made me very teary (and jealous!)
you guys could have the cutest boat wedding hehe
You guys are a fantastic couple! I wish you and your family everything of the very best for your lives! happy sailing.
So I've been with my girlfriend for 9 years and I always said from the day we met I would never get married. I recently had surgery and couldn't have made the recovery with out her. Three weeks after surgery we are engaged. I finally realized what an idiot I was for waiting so long lol.
Cried. Have been following for 5 years. You guys are inspiration!
such a sweet episode x
Happy 7 year anniversary to you both and your little family and crews are such a pleasure to watch and being part of your sailing journey...thank you!
Seeing this video just solidifies that I’d love to find a partner that I could sail around with world with. You guys are definitely couple goals! 💗💗💗
@Monique; hi Monique. I heard Bobby of Sailing doodles is always on the look out for female sailing ⛵ partners. Do get in touch with him. He's a handsome guy and he seems to be doing alright with his boat. Best of luck.
@@bahardin3992 haha! Thanks for the tip! I’ll have to check it out 😉

@@jamessandman3708 I know the LV crew have their hands full but could you imagine them playing matchmaker with their followers?

Chapter 4
Our fondness for each other grew, Loving snow and water skiing, just part of the great outdoors.
This is so crazy because on
January 28th we just celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary.
PeaceAndLove

Wonderful recap of an exceptional life being lived. Thank you.
I just realised it's 'Code Zero' not 'Coke Zero'. I know nothing about sailing. Evidently.
@Harumy Yeah, cheers.
