We loved this video so much. It's a funny thing but we've actually been loving your videos even more than normal since you've been land-bound. We just love seeing you being a family together and navigating life's challenges and joys. Big blessings to all four of you.
I’m so amazed by the amazing lives and adventures these people live WITH KIDS! And how do they make such amazing content with QUALITY editing - I can’t even imagine!!
I suspect the secret is R & E are fairly relaxed. In contrast, just look at some of the comment on this video talking about Lenny's safety (he's 2, so he's exploring his environment) - they're made by the typical helicopter parents who are totally stressed out 100% of the time. R & E are completely the opposite - they very much "go with the flow" and their family is noticeably happier for it.
Don't ever worry about folks enjoying your episodes. Just make sure you have 60 seconds of Lenny in a good mood. (Darwin's looks like he'll be ready to share the task in a couple of months.)
I have been following you for the last several months, seen what I hope are all of your videos, to watch your adventures, challenges and the amazing places you have visited. During that time I spent a lot of time thinking about the adventures my parents had with me, on the 2 power boats, going to Catalina Island, and sailing on a friends boat a Catalina 45 so I decided to take the next steps. During your adventures I started to think I could do this, though less conventionally I took lessons through a American Sailing Association sponsored classes at Marina Sailing. I have taken my first of several classes called Basic Keel Boat Sailing, Coastal Sailing, Bareboat Sailing and Navigation. I have also gone out on a Catalina 22, a Catalina 30 and a Beneteau 41 (a very nice boat). My near future class will be for the Night Navigation and Catamaran sailing. On my bucket list, since I am 68 and not getting any younger is to Sail to Hawaii and back, hopefully with as part of a crew or skipper for someone else. Enough about me. I have been subscribed and watching your videos for years now, and have always been a pretty silent fan. In fact, this is my first comment on a youtube video every, but I had to say something. When Riley kicked that large ball in the last 10 sec of the video and just took Lenny out, and immediately was like “Oh mate i’m so sorry” I was crying with laughter. Love you guys!
Your little talk with Darwin, with his FABULOUS grin was just….everything. I tend to suspect he’s really a wise little old man, masquerading as a baby. And he LOVES his Mum.♥️
It absolutely was... i was very upset to see that.... unnecessarily aggressive and frankly dangerous!!! hate to see what is happening over in Australia..... yep HORRIFYING!! Poor sweet beautiful Lenny..
Greeting from Perth, I hope you got a few of the sunny days before the rain set in. Lenny looks like his teeth are all better. I love Darwin's smile, that melts your heart. At least Perth has been relatively Covid free, so far, anyway. Enjoy your stay! You guys are my favorite on UA-cam, always get a laugh. Love the new lens too.
I was crying with laughter at your intro & crying with concern when Lenny fell then crying with laughter again when you explained what he was doing when he fell........ and so on. What an awesome vlog! I want you to be my parents!
Love your gorgeous family. Cannot get enough of Lenny and Darwin is such a cutie too. It's been a long time since we have heard you singing and playing your guitar Alayna. It was lovely to hear❤️❤️❤️
I thought the quarantine twist on the plane added an extra twist to the adventure. Really nice house by the way, great views and given your limitations in filming I thought you did an awesome job with this video, like really impressed.
Man I forgot how angelic Pant’s voice is! Elaina you truly have such a gift! Loved this video of just real life, not every video can be packed with adventure, Hope this quarantine gives you rest, rejuvenation, positivity, wonder and blessings. Ps giving little Lenny a big hug for his poor little teeth.
Lennys test was a bit brutal! Watching this makes me feel some anxiety lol. Just one year ago we moved back to Canada from the Caribbean during Covid. Ten bags, two dogs, three airports, quarantined in hotel until we closed on our new house….I don’t even want to travel anymore at this point. We did however just buy a new boat!
Bit brutal??? It's criminal!!! This guy is a fool not a human. Testing a child??? Are your brain working or are you just listen to the informations and procrastinating?????
Really like it when you give a bit of your opinions re Australia or the places you travel! Good luck and soooo glad you were able toy choose your place of quarantine! Better than a hotel!
The spa time, family time, the new lens, learning about restrictions in Australia, all awesome! I love the filming style … and those popsicles, I will definitely try and make them one day. 💕
Don't ever feel like "you've run out of things to film" Elayna..... you are taking us along on your adventures and we can feel like we are right with you, instead of being cooped up inside working all day. It is always exciting to see where/what "WE" are doing tomorrow :)
Hope your family is all well and content. Having withdrawals... you're my Monday checklist! Your content is just about the only good thing about Mondays lol.
Wow, to have the end goal in sight and to get back on a boat and sail away must feel amazing. While everyone else is slowly being shackled with monitoring devices........................ - get on the the boat and sail and don't look back. - while you can.
Honestly - most of us would watch you all watching paint dry - so please don't worry about whether or not we'll watch. WE WILL WATCH!!! #teamlavagabonde
I freaking love watching you guys be parents, it’s so raw and real!!! You don’t pretend to be perfect. Sometimes you kick things and it knocks over your children lol it’s all okay ☺️
OK I have to say I enjoyed this video more than any of your others. I don’t watch because you sail, or for your world view which I often disagree with but I love watching all of you interact. The footage of Riley reading to Lenny and of them doing push-ups on opposite sides of the pool were wonderful as was the footage of Darwin “talking.” These are the things I like. I am probably, however, not your typical viewer. Thank you for all the trouble you go to make videos. I, for one, like them!
Ive said since about 3 mo into this pandemic that its watching the world collectively grieve all at once. Ive lived 20 years with my daughter who can not talk, needs assistance with just about everything, and is effectively capable at a 3 yo level. When you have a kid like that, grief is something you do every day. Most people have never had to process grief so often or so deeply. The pandemic forced everyone into to that world all at once. The stages of grief are not linear and theycan feel chaotic. Shock/denial, pain/guilt, anger/bargaining, depression, the upward turn, reconstruction, and acceptance/hope. This is the entirety of what we are all feeling and have been since early 2020. Its intense, but as a person who has been doing for 20 years, the best thing to do is recognize whats happening and be mindful of the psychology surrounding it. Its a fucked up ride.
One medium sized happy family. Alayna You bounced back like a champ, and your just as gorgeous as you were before the babies came. Riley's a very lucky man to have you and two beautiful boys.
Love Mondays! And who says that? Hahaha Only those who follow SLVB! I can definitely see your insight into the realization as to how different and interesting your life on the boat is. I can watch anything you produce but I definitely can't wait for you to be back aboard ship. Until then 🍻.

It's really nice to see Elayna singing again. Having caught up on the new videos i went back to start at the beginning of the originals and was surprised to hear Elayna could sing so amazingly.
When I watched this video, I am reminded of the differences in the weather between northern and southern hemispheres, since it is so different in the time of year there. Here in Los Angeles California it is hot and sunny, a little humid the last few days due to storms down off the Gulf of Mexico, no rain, and what it is like there with it being winter, rain, and and just bundling up to stay warm! My biggest challenge in these times are that I am prone to sun burns unless I use massive amounts of SPF 3000 (really it is SPF 100) sun block, which makes me feel like fly paper to everything out there that I come in contact with. Your biggest challenge is diving into cooler than normal water, just to spear fish and find food for the table. There is no real difference, I think I would rather be doing what you are doing, though we live such vastly different lives.
@@Coconut7403 I mean, I'm not saying that it's a good thing but once when my sister and I were very little she threw a TV over her head... And I'm not talking about a flat TV, I'm talking a 90s TV... And nothing happened to her, kids are just built different...

Lenny, bless your heart! My oldest boy (now 17) had the same mishap when he was 3. It was awful, broke 2 teeth. Welcome to the world of boys.
Lenny’s COVID test was absolutely horrifying to watch!
Sick to do this to little kids. Why go so deep so sad
It absolutely was... i was very upset to see that.... unnecessarily aggressive and frankly dangerous!!! hate to see what is happening over in Australia..... yep HORRIFYING!! Poor sweet beautiful Lenny..
@@kima1990 because there is the virus?!
@@susanramos6473 if she would have done it slowly it would have been worse or maybe she wouldnt even be able to test him
@@alexandernordic8551 I get that but it was way over done!!!
Laughed my head off at the chocolate flavored con-job. Why hadn't we thought of that when the kids were young!
Because you weren’t travelling the world 🌎 !
Wouldn't surprise me if they get sent to a cov*d quarantine facility with the way things are going in Aus.
Lenny is gonna be so pissed when he gets older about those popsicles lol!! But as a parent myself, Right on absolutely brilliant
lol
WHATS THE RECIPE
Pissed? I think it will be a good laugh!
Completely love your positive outlook on this. Quarantine can be hard, but having extra time with the people you love is a nice positive to it.
Watching you guys everytime is like seeing you on your first date the sparks are constantly bursting. Thanks for loving life.
@@brigidalangel1407 Criminal is the word.
@Tyler Keehl if you didn't find this brutal, your brain and emotions don't work
The intro could make me cry! Love your relationship and family
I definitely teared up a bit 🥲
I didn't think I see a Trump supporter watching SLV. That's why I don't subscribe to your channel anymore Kelly. What we do and what we think matters.
Shout out to Kelly Young. I love you. Always have and always will.
Yoooo Kelly hi haha!
@@kikito1 really whats wrong with trump way better then biden
Really like it when you give a bit of your opinions re Australia or the places you travel! Good luck and soooo glad you were able toy choose your place of quarantine! Better than a hotel!
The spa time, family time, the new lens, learning about restrictions in Australia, all awesome! I love the filming style … and those popsicles, I will definitely try and make them one day. 💕
Can’t wait for Monday’s. Y’all are so precious!
Must violent Covid test I've seen. Poor Lenny!!
Some nurses just do NOT have 'the touch.'
I’m just happy that you are all safe and moving forward🥰
Don't ever feel like "you've run out of things to film" Elayna..... you are taking us along on your adventures and we can feel like we are right with you, instead of being cooped up inside working all day. It is always exciting to see where/what "WE" are doing tomorrow :)
Hope your family is all well and content.
Having withdrawals... you're my Monday checklist! Your content is just about the only good thing about Mondays lol.
Honestly these videos are just as meaningful and entertaining as when you all are sailing
Really well done episode, one of my favorites ever. And the thumbnail is an instant classic!
For the simple reason that you’ve filmed and documented your amazing life journeys you all deserve a splurge on your quarantine residence👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻✌🏼❤️
Wow, to have the end goal in sight and to get back on a boat and sail away must feel amazing. While everyone else is slowly being shackled with monitoring devices........................ - get on the the boat and sail and don't look back. - while you can.
You guys are amazing! The only family and parents I know that do the best and show it on camera! Good luck 9
YAY!!!! I’ve been looking forward to this all week!!!!
I'm feeling for Lenny and that test....I've had it over 8 times. Still makes my eyes water. Welcome to Perth you guys!!💜💜
Anyone else thought the test on Lenny was unnecessarily evil?
Yes no other word for it, it's all evil and new dark age is coming if people don't stand up and fast.
That was horrible. Poor Lenny probably traumatized, after that COVID test. I was just watching.

I’m a covid nurse. I am so sorry about what is happening in Australia. Truly frightening
Medical tyranny, the Nazi's are back.
@@DoYouThinkForUrselF This is the truth, why are so many of the masses stupid and unwilling to see the insanity, it blows my mind!
Testing a child is pure insanity simple as that, the truth is being hidden please look deeper for it!
I love this animation stuff! It feels like such a production now

Checking on you guys! Hope all is well! ❤️😊
Omgoodness u have the voice of an Angel 😇 i could have just watched and listened to u sing...... Darwin is so beautiful ♥️♥️ sweet happy bubba ..... And Lenny is just beautiful, he is so clever and funny to watch.... Sending you guys much love from Victoria/ Melbourne where we r sadly back in lockdown and our restrictions r tight af and we r on curfew again.... Love you guys ♥️♥️♥️♥️
OMG Poor Lenny. He just gets it coming and going! Now everytime I see him running around I literally hold my breath cause I think he's gonna eat it!
Yeah, I feel like he needs a real checkup. Those impacts can't be good for his brain. Furthermore, it's seems to happen quite often!
I think he's accident prone.
@@Coconut7403 I mean, I'm not saying that it's a good thing but once when my sister and I were very little she threw a TV over her head... And I'm not talking about a flat TV, I'm talking a 90s TV... And nothing happened to her, kids are just built different...
@@ericsaul9306 She must be really lucky, falling tv's are actually a very big hazard unfortunately
Normal active beautiful little boy, with loving parents... We raised two boys and at times I could be considered a helicopter parent but they will fall down and jump off the couch and trip over their own feet. Lenny and Darwin will be 👍 🌴
Elayna, you have a beautiful voice. That nurse tried spearing Lenny’s brain! Another great update.
This was SO WHOLESOME, love hanging out with you guys, you make us feel like part of the family and you're hilarious ❤ 😂
Thought much about you and your little family last night...had trouble sleeping....praying you're all well. Miss your adventures. Hugs.
Oh my god my nearly three year old came of her bike last week and basil broke the fall with her face! Her front tooth was like side ways and I was devastated at the thought of her loosing it! Buuuuttt managed to kinda pop it make in and stabilise it for a bit and touch wood it’s still in there! She had some like bruising too and cut round the tooth but you can hardly see that now! Hopefully Lenny heals good too!
This is the best part of my week
Changes need to made. 😬
'Juuuuuust going for a little TICKLE' - yikes! Great to see you guys are doing well and the pad looks sweet!
The cheesy "steamy" brought out a large guffaw. Both you and Riley's sense of humor really aligns here.
Awesome to hear you sing again, and yes you are amazingly beautiful! That is reality TV, real people going through life's ups and downs, thoroughly enjoyed this episode as well!
Thanks guys, more fun entertainment to help me through my day. Love knowing that you’re in Perth at the moment (I think) wishing I could get to meet you all.
Congrats family!! Much love from Canada!!
Loved your opening talk of your LOVE ,dedication and commitment to your life with Riley and the kids .
Now 😂?
Let’s hear from the handsome young and single swing’n sailor of the salty sea and what he says about being taken by the beautiful mermaid that trimmed his sails and has him landlocked and surrounded with BB’s ?
Luv ur vids long time sub. First comment.
✌️
Lovely to hear Elena singing again 🎶🤗❤️🏴
I have been binge watching you guys for a little while now and then I just saw a video where Elana says she’s from Geraldton😳🙌🏽🥰❤️ I have lived in Geraldton and still currently live here for the past 42 years and to know that you come from here and I might know some of your family maybe made me smile😁 you guys are gorgeous and I’m a fan for life for sure now🙌🏽 Thankyou🥰❤️
DAMN.. never ceases to surprise me how talented and gifted with an angel voice Elayna is 8:58 you guys are such a wonderful beautiful family and I wish you all the very best in the new upcoming chapter of your lifes.
My favorite is when Riley hit Lennie with the ball at the end 😂 Seriously the funniest thing I've seen in a long time.
That was brutal watching that person just ram that swab in Lenny’s nose. That was unnecessarily rough‼️

She really OUGHT to have had his mom or dad stand behind him and hold his head steady at the back of his chair. I'm sure she drew blood when he was shocked at the stab and wriggled like that! She really needs classes in testing the young.
I love listening to you play guitar and sing. I’d love to hear more!
I've been an avid fan of you guys since my husband introduced me to your videos 5yrs ago. Thank you soo much for letting us into your lives on-board and recently on land. Lennie is hilarious and Darwin is adorable! Elaina, you look absolutely fantastic, bikini ready after 2 kids and the last birth only a month ago?! I didn't even get dressed for 3 months after my son was born! You rock girl! Sending you all lashings of love and looking forward to the next exciting episode!
Just watching your family grow and the the adventures pile up is amazing. Land or sea it is all good to me.
I can't take Riley serious with his damn bangs. 😂

Oh my gosh, the way they did the test 2 Lenny. Really shocked my soul. :(
At the end, when Lenny is giving Dad the stink eye, predicts trouble in coming years!
Great video! All you film and put together is amazing even if its everyday stuff, I dont care what you decide to film I am here for it! Loved hearing you sing and love the kids and Dad and love seeing your family!
You two have built a wonderful family. It is quite staggering really-- gold star life award to you! As an american, it is hard to comprehend the australian response to the pandemic, but is interesting to watch.
Elaina's thoughts about making new place a kind of home is brilliant
Its been 3weeks since you guys made a video Praying that You guys are safe and healthy
I had forgotten how much I enjoy E's singing! Please more ...if possible after those tests 😵🥴😣
