I think one of the things that makes riley a great sailor is the fact that he’s very decisive- which is impressive and a huge value to have. so many people are indecisive (including me) so watching someone be entirely decisive and confident in every decision they make is inspiring

Watching Darwin is like watching Lenny 2 years ago! Oh, those beautiful blue eyes. Why do baby boys always have long lashes? Glad you caught 🐟 🐠, and very happy to see Lenny going to preschool. Being with peers and learning social cues are important for every 3yo.

I'm not sure how to describe it, but I love your new format. A little day in the family life, which I love; the kids and all. Some adventures and chores. Super spear fishing, beautiful scenery, Lenny in pre-school, very cute. Darwin becoming his own little man. Reading and enjoying the novel, Catch-22. I've read it several times, the first time in high school, during the summer of Love, 1967. You should check out the movie version. Stay groovy and stay safe. PS Love your new nanny.
I know you show a lot of the food you prepare, but I'd love more of that. How you prepare the basics (sweet potatoes, rice, etc.), what you do to give dishes zing, your faves, maybe get David to cook a meal from home (yes that's thirsty!). I'm not a vegetarian, but you make it look good and I'd love to learn more.
The souls that endure the most trauma and keep a smile on their faces for everyone are the lights of the world.... And are flowers not the stars of the earth? Some of my favorite parts of your videos are your "Lenny's Food Review" type segments and your cartoon illustrations.
15:05 are those Panama Pumpkins? The skin is tan when ripe. The fruit is round and flattened. I bake them with the skin and seeds and puree it all in the blender to make a nice soup. I add just enough water so that the blender will process the puree.
Riley! I love it when you go crazy about how many knots you are doing... take a look at the hybrid boat from Jon Olsson 104.2 knots !!!

Aww I don’t think I could send Darwin just yet, he’s still my little baby for now. Saying that, we did send Lenny to a preschool when he turned 1. But it was one of the hardest days of my life!! 🥹🥹 I might just hang on to Darwin for a tad bit longer…

You do get some free time without kids it seems. You help on board seems very generous and after all your hard work making these videos and the actual work sailing a boat you should not be made to feel guilty for having help. You have no grnadparents near by and no aunties house for a sleep over like many people have. It seems some people take for granted the time and effort that goes into you entertaining us for several hours each month.
Ps. I think you should do a blog completely from your helps' perspective. It would be cool for them to film and do the voice over and such. Do they get tired out from being with kids all the time? Do they get breaks? Do they like the food? How many "hours" are they on the clock foreach day/week? How do they maintain a personal life when on the boat? Etc....

That's funny, I've been watching the early episodes from when you all first began, and I watched the crab I the ear episode last night. I had a bug get in my ear once while camping and it was so painful. I can't imagine a crab
