Su-33 never had thrust vectoring, what there is is a key, IIRC k, that turns off the AOA limiter and G limiter and allows you to pull a cobra.
This. To do the cobra, you have to pull a handle first.
Theres something even better then the cobra called "stick deflection limiter" and turning it off does what it says: turning off the stick limiter. It does not turn off the stability assist like the cobra does tho. This results in a little less achievable AoA, but its much more controllable and predictable and in most situations it will be more then enough to make up missing angles for snapshots, without any risk to loosing control and having it pitch too much.
33 doesnt have tvc it has a direct elevator control with a switch which also disables the G limiter the binding name should be "DTC switch (cobra button)" if i recall

su33 is pretty heavy compared to other flankers
I have always somehow liked the flying itself with su's in dcs. No tv on su33 btw. There is that 103% thrust/"heat" mode for takeoff but no T.Vect... was it Lshift+E or something. Dont remember the bind menu name of that function :)
if bogey doing a 400-500 knots circle around me non stop, i would try to "scissor" into his path to pip him. common textbook stuff. i would dip with the rudder while doing turn and then pull up and do an inverted loop and roll the plane(doing the vertical climb) to adjust where i will level so my nose will level at the trajectory that will cut the path of the bogey. similar to what he is doing there in the video. you could do that quick dip using that "asymmetrical" throttle, split them and have one full to push extra for the rudder action and dip the nose quicker while turning. but have to immediately full power both for the inverted loop. i think by the time you do the inverted loop, the plane wont be too fast that you could practically pull the stick really hard without blacking out.
33 is "artificially" limited in DCS. no TV as that is set for 37. it feels so sluggish but we had many discussions on forum about performance downgrade. if you override limiter it will probably break midair so dont try it in DCS. it actually received a lot of punishment by coders but they wont admit it. the problem is in T/W ratio progression on fuel burn time but those second class flight models dont simulate that in old models. so stick to some better ones if you dont want to burn your nerves down. lets call it super handicap level.

Why do reviews on planes that Russia no longer has? There are Mig 31, Mig 35 and MiG-41, a sixth-generation interceptor fighter project being developed in Russia as part of the Pak dp (advanced long-range interception aviation complex) program. What are you trying to get at in confussed reading this. If you are asking why they aren't in game its cous the dev team can't make them without the legal docs/ have been declassed
