When is the VR headset coming? Can't wait for your opinion on them!
The FC3 redfor jets have *insanely* good radar gunsights. Pinpoint accurate
doesnt look like he turned it on here, he forgot to lock the target with the radar here to get that killer tracking gunsight
its odd that it didnt, iirc even the fc3 gun mode does autoacq, but its been a while since ive used them @@tippership
Su-33 in theory doesn't sport thrust vectoring...by the way it is by far the best looking flanker version!
But if it’s Russian, it’s junk and the pilot is drunk 👎
@@PaulP580 well you know!
🤭😂🤣
@@PaulP580 I am not a russian fanboy , but is a bad idea to feed the stereotype of the russian stuff and military in general sucking and being "junk" when in the future they might be a real enemy in the battlefield.
@@DOGosaurus_rexreal enemy will be china lmao , while the west busy fight each other , china day by day becomes stronger , especially now that they have access to cheap Russia oil and gas , meanwhile European industry go kaput ( thanks to embargo on Russia gas and oil result in eu have to import more expensive oil/gas from america and middle east ) . The current war is god given to the Chinese , weaker Russia allows them to expand influence to the central Asia region and Caucasian , making huge money from exporting stuff to both side ( ever wonder where the fpv part come from ? China )
What, gotta wait two days!!! Come on!! 😅
Great video! May I ask what kind of head tracking you use? I don't see any clips on your headset.
Hello, love ur content. May I ask which eye tracker you're using?
Would love to see how well you fly in missions if you ever team up with the Grim Reapers YT Sim Match ups~
@grimreapers
There IS an Su-30 mod with working thrust vectoring. I myself have not tried it, only watched other streamers use it. Wow. .. Only mod I've really messed with is the community A-4. It knocked me out instantly simply doing an aileron roll. Go figure, over 700 degrees per second LOL.
I'm curious if you have Falcon BMS as well. It quite specifically does the F-16. Numerous variants of it. It recently added a high fidelity F-15C as well. Falcon 4.0 is like 5 bucks on steam, and BMS is a free mod for it. Pretty much a full game in it's own right, but it requires you to have the original Falcon 4.0 executable installed, even tho it doesn't use it at all.
It's an incredible sim. There's a lot of .... discussion ... in the community as to whether Falcon BMS or DCS does the more accurate F-16C block 52. Tho BMS also does the block 50, 40/42, 30/32, -16A, variants from other countries, aggressor variants .....
PLUS it has a truly incredible dynamic campaign engine. Microprose baby. They came up with it way back circa 2000 and no one has yet surpassed it let alone equaled it. Standard theater is Korea, but there's numerous downloadable others such as Balkans and part of the Kola peninsula.
I sure do love jets
Hello! What does it mean when the thunderbirds say easing forward, Trying to make a virtual team.
I want to challenge @max afterburner 😂
Max, are there any games out there where you could play against your fellow fighter pilots? Or do you already?
Definitely. DCS is a good one.
Hey Max, any chance for some Falcon BMS content?
definitely going to do this!
@@MaxAfterburnerusa Hell yeah !
Why there is no sound?
I think youre getting confused with the Su30.
The Su33 doesnt have thrust vectoring.
The canards on the Su33 are for stability on landing on the carrier, not maneuvering.
Treasonous offense my man lol
😂 sorry Mav!
Why don't you fly online? There's dcs dogfighters server
It's more fun to fly with real people than bots.
Hi, I like to control my dogfights so I don't reveal anything that is classified. At least for now fighting AI is the best way I can do this
@@MaxAfterburnerusaNo doubt. Always need to be careful with TTPs when dealing with a public audience. That said on the law enforcement side, I've done a bunch of shoothouse training with former members of top special mission units (both Army and Navy). In demos, these guys have the ability to dominate with open source basics, just done better than everyone else. Pretty sure you could do the same. You may have to lose a little face if you get caught defensive and have to forego using privileged TTPs that you knew would have been successful. But even if you end up pulling the yellow and black handle, the increase in subscribers from a fight with someone like Growling Sidewinder or Grim Reapers would be worth it.
All fun and games until he leaks classified documents because the turn rate of his favorite plane is a little of
I thought Pilots started passing by ejected pilots they shot down in WWII as a mutual respect thing to make sure they made it to the ground safe. Understanding the dangers every pilot endures.
Well that would be nice but it just depends on the enemy. I like this idea though
You should hit up the grim reapers
I highly doubt that was Maverick, he would have smoked you. I'm pretty sure it was Rooster flying. They probably got confused with the seats.
haha yeah you're prob right lol
Are you out of practice or are you trying so hard to hide your classified training that you look like a rookie? You keep firing without pulling even half as much lead as you need.
My theory is that he was an F15E pilot, which isnt exactly a dogfighting plane...
Also, i'm sure even a pro dogfighting pilot would struggle initially in a game
@@arkie87 Are the HUD crosshairs really not universal between modern gun-equipped planes? I find it hard to believe that he wouldn't have been taught the "make the two trailing lines match the width of the target" concept. This isn't a matter of struggling to control the game, he's pulling the trigger when the elements of the heads-up display indicate he shouldn't.
@@arkie87He addresses this in another video. He was an F-15 pilot. He stated that the gun in the F15 is canted a few degrees upward when installed on the jet. This creates substantial lead without having to pul it with the jet.
Seems to me that Russian aircraft as a whole have rather shitty visibility
