What's your favourite Robert Eggers film?
His upcoming Viking film lol
Lighthouse was so much better than Witch, I was totally engrossed in his 2nd film!
The Lighthouse!!!!
The Ligththouse is a masterpiece in every aspect : acting, cinematography, sound design, creepiness/eeriness..
Its a toss up between the witch and the lighthouse...
Someone give this man his damn Nosferatu film!
They gave him, it will feature Anya Taylor-Joy once more.
@@mr.dog3472 you're gonna need to post a source with that claim.
@@jello4479 It's really in a pre-pre-pre-production.

He got that passionate look on his eyes that filmmakers like tarantino have. He Clearly knows what he wants and what he's doing
i think he just got long eyelashes

What a genuinely good, cool, passionate guy. Truly inspirational.
For some reason this interview makes me also appreciate the film more afterwards and now 'The Witch' is deffo on my next to watch list. The way he spoke on it and broke it down was just fascinating and as a film lover (also one day hoping to be future filmmaker) was so damn interesting and informative).
1000% on board with him. Any movie project with that human would be such a trip! Highly technical and yet very organic....
I would love to see him work with actors behind the scenes in detail since the blu ray didn't show much
I absolutely LOVED The Vvitch, It has become a holiday mainstay. I bought five of them for my family and friends. I trust this man to make great films.
He's got quite a resume already at such a young age. 3/3 hits is pretty damn good. Remarkable.
Love all his interviews. His movies are amazing and I'm going to go out of my way to see all in theaters though I don't usually do so
So far, Lighthouse is my favorite of his films. But the Vikings film is gonna be spectacular. I very anxious to see it.
This dude is brilliant.
The Witch was just too REAL for me to watch. You know that this sort of thing actually happened to people. Everyone turning on each other as their imaginations take hold. That kind of horror, I just can't do.
Looking forward to this Viking thing he’s doing hopefully it’s closer in tone to the Witch. I liked the language and style of Lighthouse but it was a little goofy for me. Either way I really appreciate his uncompromising nature and obsessive attention to historical detail happy to inhabit the planet at the same time and see him branch out as a creator
You create your own luck through hard work, if you're not looking, you won't find it.
He blinks a lot
great movies but clearly this guy is into occult shit. He has that dark feeling, you can tell when someone is into dark evil shit.
His movies are alright. He’s clearly not a very good writer. Sounds like he just reads old books and steals from them and writes the script as he goes. Seems like an aimless way of making a movie and not surprisingly his movies are totally aimless.
How about stealing the plot and name of another movie didn't hear asking him that
What plots? What other movie?
plots don't make masterpieces...good directors do
They're both based on a true story you little freak. You're embarrassing yourself. Google stuff.
@@nekromatica The Lighthouse (2016)Two lighthouse keepers clash, making their duties difficult even before a freak storms hits and strands them at the lighthouse for months.
@@panagiotisdedes9695 They're both inspired by a true story - Eggers openly says that.
