Great question! Usually people who are afraid of heights have very strong visceral reactions (sweating, increased heartbeat, vertigo, Elvis' leg etc) even when they are in a safe position but up high. For example when you are on a rooftop or on a balcony and you look down. Fear of falling is more about the consequences of the fall: from possible death to injuries!
I love this video, and cute cats too. ^_^ but do you really think that cats are afraid by cucumbers in general, or instead, by their suddenly appearence? cats are lovely badass creature XD
Cats have a reflexive reaction to cucumbers and zucchini, unless they become more familiar with them. We still don't know why. One hypothesis was that it reminds of the shape of snakes, but cats hunt snakes... Who knows...
@@AllegraClimbingPsychologist i have the same reaction when I saw "broccoli" (I don't know how translate it). Cause I really hate this useless vegetable! :) ahahahah may be cats has the same feeeling about cucumbers XD
I Liked the video and I love cats, so I’m here to tell you :D
Thank you 🥰
Alex Honnald said he gets scared, he just is able to overcome his fear.
Of course he does!
Please don't scare your cat with cucumbers! The stress is bad for their health!
Is there a difference between the fear of falling and the fear of heights?
