Hey I'm a new subscriber and I'm lovin your channel so far. I was thinking about installing one of those "Auto engine Off disablers" its a wire that either plugs in behind the button on the dash, or somewhere under the hood depending on the one you buy. Have you done this with your Frontier?
I'm adding amber lights to my tundra. I've been told the add-a-fuse is a good option. What did you do with the negative wire? My amber lights have both red and black wires
@ryanrobb4301 the negative you can just ground to any part of the body you can find. For my auxbeam switch panel I have it mounted to the battery. For my raptor lights it's just ground onto a bolt that the wire could reach.
I haven't used a switch box like that yet, I've always designed and made my own to fit the vehicle I had and made them easy to remove later, but takes work. That s/w box sure saves time from running a bunch of wires (even small gauge) into cab. I've found that tapping into a fuse that powers an accessory can work well, such as radio, 12v out (cigarette outlet) works, or similar. Sometimes means one extra wire into cab and tap off an interior fuse box. I just picked up my 2024 pro 4x this week, I wish the auto headlight s/w had an 'Off' setting. 🤷♂

I've heard about them but I haven't done any myself. I bought my truck early enough that it doesn't have the auto shut off luckily.
Wish you would have told or showed which fuse box and fuse slot you used for the add a fuse.

I found it strange that we can't turn off the headlights as well.
