Lucy and the Ghoul are the best characters so far. 1st episode 9.5, this episode 9.0. The show is very good so far.

The ghoul killed and dawg and they were still like “ The guy in the armor that just saved Lucy is WHACK!” Lol my boy can’t win lol
Its a great cast, the ghoul is a hell of an enemy, lucy just the perfect naiv vault dweller and maximus plays perfect he is so underrated. Also the chicken diddler or honcho from the first ep. just a perfect cast
Very underrated. But the ghoul being cool is how it suppose. People are just so easily influenced they fail to see the things that hidden in other characters.
Props to calling out VATS.
Now I wanna see a show about a day in the life of Ma June, because that lady has seen some sheeeit.

And yet people STILL manage to write "ect".
The main character resembles the Pip Boy Mascot in her personality for me. Almost always walking around with a thumbs up towards the world around her.
Which if you've watched the show... you'd know the Ghoul IS the Vault Boy that you're ignorantly referring to as " Pip Boy Mascot " .
The Female lead is essentially playing a Lawful Good Playthrough, the Ghoul a Chaotic Neutral, and Maximus a Chaotic Good (since he's done minor evil actions to further an overall Moral goal but also had the Pure Goal of hurting people which leans him towards the evil spectrum but his actions haven't matched up with his bad ideals so he remains good.
@eno6712 first off spoilers, second I was just making a comparison which I thought was interesting. Doesn't change the point I made but congratulations 👏
@eno6712 also I could binge it but I'm watching it along with The Channel and people should think about what they write before they ruin other people's experiences
@@user-jp7co9eo6v Comment sections for reaction stuff are always full of lonely people wo/mansplaining every aspect of the show/lore. So desperate to talk about the thing they like that they don't even realize they're ruining the entire experience for everyone, including the person reacting.

Really started to like Maximus here in episode 2, but man he quickly became my favorite character of the main 3.
Maximus is stupid, and we see how he struggles in this world. Usually "low Int" characters start out as "simple, but likeble" with a strong moral compass and actually "a good guy". Maximus is nothing of that. He's not an evil guy, he's not a good guy. Don't tell me you don't think he might have put the razor blade where it was. He just... might have? He's a guy who struggles with understanding the world around him, and finding a place in it. The brotherhood cannot really make use of him because he's years with them, and still cannot get what a "rotor" and what a "circuit" is.
During the show he struggles with words, concepts and all the things. He's just a stupid dude who cares for his friends. He gets bullied a lot, and wants to be a knight in a world that is both too complex and too simple. He wants to do right, but has no real idea what that is.
He gets a character development arc, that eventually seems to make him understand what actually matters, but he's doing it in his own way.
It feels like the writers managed to create a truly stupid character, who falls in none of the stupid cliches of being "already pretty nice, but simple", or just a dumb brute, or "dumb - and therefore evil", he's not the "idiot savant", or who suddenly gets to act "not Int-limited" for some reason when the scene calls for it.
All characters in the show are exceptionally well written and extremely well played by the actors, but Maximus stands out because he's a risky character to create and to pull of well. They created a well-rounded character, who just has low Intelligence and Low Charisma, and gets to work with that. Aaron Moten killed it.
The Ghoul IS the best character.
I’ve stopped calling him “the ghoul” and just call him Cooper. His name when the bombs dropped. ♥️
I love Maximus he is my second favorite character
