    could any one tell me how much time it takes to be a judo black belt? , maybe if i train 3 times a week

    • @TheDenrix

      NATLUS depends on your age and the restrictions in your country. I started at 6 and had it 10 years later

    • @iwan-2106
      @iwan-2106 7 років тому

      NATLUS if you train hard and have a little bit of feeling in it you can get it in 10 years or less.... but if you're already older it might take more effort and time

      In Germany for example if you're older than the minimum age for the belt, you can get 4 belts a year in theory

      2 years in the uk if you do 4 belts per year but i have seen some really poor black belts that can get beaten by green belts with more years practice

    but if Shohei Ono had tried that uranage on cement, he would've gotten a concussion if not worst... I noticed how Ono's head hit the matt at the end of that throw. So, this is certainly not a throw I would attempt in a street fight.

    • @ShorkCODM
      @ShorkCODM Рік тому +1

      His throw only look that way because he is against people that is resisting, doing it on normal people and he will do it like a suplex. Also, this is judo competition with mats, the rules and style is very different from street fight, it’s a sport, you go there and learn and be fit, not for you to go out and crash with people on the streets.

    • @robertnegron6804

      @@ShorkCODM unless you was looking at judo as a means of self-defense, you never thought about that, did you?

    • @ShorkCODM
      @ShorkCODM Рік тому +2

      @@robertnegron6804 if you want to learn self defence, don’t learn from the competition rules. Judo competition is a sport, just like in mma, the ground in the ring are not solid like concrete, it feels slightly harder than mats, so things that work/doesn’t work in mma competition sometimes wont work in the street, there’s also things to grab in the street to protect for yourself and the aggressor may carry a weapon. If you want real self defence, learn to run.

    • @georgemorley1029

      His head never touched the mat. Look again. The last camera angle shows it.

    • @robertnegron6804
      @robertnegron6804 Рік тому

      @@georgemorley1029 but it came pretty close, though, but that doesn't mean that his head won't ever hit the mat or even worse the concrete.
