This is what getting your own gaming pc actually feels like from my first experience! So you’ve just bought everything and you're ready to build the computer, the only problem is you don’t know how! Almost breaking it you watch some tutorials and slowly bit by bit, you start to make progress, and as you get closer to finishing the computer the anticipation rises to unprecedented levels, you begin to doubt if the pc will work or not and whether you’ve done it right. Nervously you power it on for the first time, and it works!!! After a few minutes of messing around with the RGB software you boot up the most intensive game, Minecraft. And boy does it run well. Hi 😂
NOOOOOOOO, DON'T USE A B760 IN A HIGH-END GAMING PC!!!!!
But it is a high end mobo..
Nice job but that cable managment is horrible
you forgot the part where you get a heart attack from not switching the back switch
😂
Underrated comment
Bro this just happened with me yesterday i was cleaning my pc and i forgot that the switch was off
This kind of happened to me, but the only thing was I plugged the power cable into the battery and not the graphics card. gave me a heart attack for 30 minutes.
My roommate and I were having issue a bit ago on mw2 and we’ll guess what we both had the eco on lmao ig when I went in to clean it the week prior to that I must have hit by accident him well he’s new to this so likely had in on the whole time and didn’t notice
He forgot the part where you try to turn it on and panic but then remember checking the power adapter's on/off button
Every time 😂
Every time no matter how many you built
I wanna get a pc but its too expensive 😢
Power adapter? You mean the power supply (unless you're talking about the extender thing)?
@@falc0n2222 yes I meant the power supply
I remember building my first pc, definitely one of the most fun things I’ve done.

should i build it myself or should custom build it through a website
Guiny if u upgrade ur gpu to rtx 4090 it will give 6k fps in minecraft
Yes I got a 4090 and got upto 6k fps in minecraft bedwars
@@Mtxr_ why the fuck a 4k90 for minecraft bedwars???? Use it for proper high end games at least
Minecraft is CPU based. Gpu would only make Shaders work better
Doesn't matter. The most a modern monitor can even display is 360 fps unless you use bypass.
Tonzku actually Alienware released a 500hz monitor
u forgot plugging the hdmi into the motherboard 💀
Fucking yes, I felt so dumb
havent built it yet but glad i saw this comment.
@@darthgamingtv5598 :)
@@darthgamingtv5598 Please if You have a dedicated graphics card please plug your HDMI in to the graphics card. NOT into the Motherboard. The display signal would have to travel trough the integrated graphics of your processor wich would cause latency problems especially while gaming, and many other issues or it would not work at all if your processor doesn't even have integrated graphics to begin with.
@@IT3DDYl lol thank you for the explanation. My cpu i bought does have integrated graphics but yeah i want the gpu to go to work for me. Now, all those usb ports on my motherboard, and usb-c. Could i use those for like charging my phone or devices or something?
I remember my first build not having that much of a cable mess
Mines worse
Lucky i put my mb cable backwards
my looks like a jungle 10x worsee
Puts component in: “shit did i break it”
For real the first time i "clip" my gpu into the motherboard , the ram and also placing my m.2 ssd in a bit of an angle was so sketch , i really tought i broke something everybody was like "put a bit of pressure" my motherboard was about to snap almost 😂😂
I remember putting my CPU In the socket and almost having a seizure by how much pressure it required to pull that tiny metal lever to keep it in place...
Don't even get me started on the ram sticks...
Hell of an emotional rollercoaster
You forgot the part when you run it in an off-case test first, see that it isn’t working, troubleshoot for 3 days with no luck, go to microcenter, give them the pc and $20, get a diagnosis for a faulty motherboard, get it replaced, and then be able to play games 3 months later.
...this hit a little too close to home..
wow what a very broad totally non specific problem
Yk this is my situation rn
Same
i actually did about a full year of research before i even ordered parts to build mine but it is an awesome feeling when you finish it and it actually turns on
Same. I thought it would be a lot harder. It was no cake walk but by no means obvious
Dude I researched for 3 days and ordered all the parts and won my cpu off a auction 5600 XT
Most of my research went into understanding the line between high end and budget builds oddly
Was really curious to know when was I leaning into decking out my build, then after building I just begun to fiddle with all the programs, that's a whole world of it's own too😅
@@bryantzamora6831 I’ve never seen an xt in the wild it’s still a little weird that they made those
@@crazygaims4280 I’m running it right now and it’s really smooth I have a 5700 XT coming in sapphire pulse so ima see the difference

Thx for specs bro
so relatable man
The cable management tho-💀💀💀
Still really great for build, congratulations!
This is exactly when we felt when we were building one lol
man this is hella relatable
Guys DO NOT TAKE OFF THE PLASTIC WHILE THE PC IS ON!! The static could fry the entire pc
Uh... no, literally not possible with modern hardware. It would AT MOST turn off the RGB lights if you have those stupid things.
@@mrbuttocks6772 why is it not possible due tell
@@mortysmith2192 A PC case, unless its made mostly of plastic, is a giant faraday cage. Something VERY good at keeping the contents isolated from outside electronic and radio interference. Peeling plastic off a fully assembled and working PC will do virtually nothing to the components.
@@mrbuttocks6772 very interesting, though I still won’t say that people should ignore the fact that static is there I did not know that , kudos
@@mortysmith2192 Static is really only a 'problem' while you're putting the PC together.
But you just got a new pc 7 months ag-
I made my own for ge first time last week. Didn't know squat. But with eniugh determination it can be done. I got it done, then i realised i had no internet so i had to get a wifi adapter, then i had to find out how to downlaod drivers. 2 day process but i felt so proud of myself. It really taught me how comouters work. Now i have a appreciation for builds. I know what a CPU is! Haha
it feels even better when you have to take it all apart to fix something later and it still turns on

It takes like 30 hours to build and the satisfying boot up at the end
The nerve is so true I thought the psu didn't have enough power but it did!
The only bump on the road I had with building my first PC was being sent the wrong SSD from Amazon. They sent me a SATA M.2 instead of the advertised NVMe M.2 while my motherboard only supported NVMe M.2 SSD’s. Returned it, bought the right one from the store so I could see if it was the right one in the box and was finally able to install Windows and get everything set up and running.
I built mine about a week ago and it was pretty easy. I have taken apart many laptop which probably helped. I also watched a lot of videos. It turned on first try.
Specs:
ASRock B660M Pro RS
i3-12100F
XFX RX6600
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB
Crucial P3 500GB and Western Digital Black 500GB
Thermaltake Smart BX1 750W
Intel Wi-Fi 6 (AX200)
Thermalright TL-C12C-S
Lancool 205M Mesh
Black braided cable extensions
And u cant describe the feeling when you had a really old and slow computer, and after building your new one it turns on and its so much better lol
Yep built one last month for myself and was afraid I screwed something up. Also built one for my brother the previous week and felt like I actually knew what I was doing.
This could never be more true, i literally built my first ever pc two days ago and i was so nervous it would work, but it did and im so happy
Wouldnt*
Yup, built mine on my birthday yesterday it was the most nervous hour of my life but it turned on and I was in awe at the beauty of something that complicated that I put together myself. It so satisfying
Congrats for the first build of yours!
I just recently did an ALL-black PC build on my channel and I think it turned out awesome! Thanks for this vid :)
I was very confident when I first built my computer, this was because I was so excited to even have a computer where I would just nonstop keep watching videos on how to build it, till the point when I had all the parts I was ready and confident
When I built my first PC I plugged the display cord into the wrong port and didn't get any picture when I booted it up. I almost started crying 😂. But I eventually figured it out and was so relieved that I almost started crying again 😂
I literally built mine the other day. Took me a couple of months to get all the parts and turn that on for the first time. A few minor problems but I fixed it and it was amazing. So proud of myself
Did you install Windows 10 or 11 on it? I am building mine soon and I want to hear your opinion on whatever one you installed.
when i built my first pc 2 years ago i felt like i did this before many times cuz of the 10k+ pc build videos i watched to learn about tech 😂
I've done so much research going into that I was fairly confident it was going to work
Just built my first PC this Monday, can't explain how happy I was to finally get it working 😅
this is so accurate it’s insane
I forgot to order the SSD for my first PC, took me 7 hours to figure out why I can’t install windows
Pressing that power button is always the scariest part after a build
I built my first PC a few weeks ago spent $3600ish on it. After 11 hrs of trying and getting so frustrated I put the return order back in for the parts on Newegg and went to bed was gonna return everything the next day or so. Next day my friend got on me about giving up so easily so he helped me build it and it worked. Then it took me 2 days to get the operating system and drivers and everything working. Tbh I was so mad at building it but after everything is done I'm glad I did. Now I know how to build a PC and I know my pc from the inside out
super wholesome story. what a good friend!
You forgot the part where you try and turn it on but you forgot to plug in the power to a outlet and you have a heart attack
Just a tip, whenever you boot your pc for the first time boot it with the panels off because that might be the reason why your pc is not turning on.
This is extremely optimistic. There has to always be one step that makes it hell. Either a defective part, problem posting, or excruciatingly frustrating os install.
I'm building my first PC right now but not done yet, this perfectly describes it
this is scarily accurate, considering that just a couple of days ago i built my first gaming pc and this was definitely the process
For me it was:
For a couple of years wanting to build a pc, so I start watching videos about them.
Basically know everything about them after a long time.
When finally got the money to build one I built it like a breeze
Im gonna get mine in later 2024 im so excited ❤
That cable management is chefs kiss
This was the best feeling ever, I was tripping balls when I saw everything boot on first try.
Jesus, that cable management
my first time building a pc, it in fact did not turn on, 5 hrs of working on it, i went to bed defeated. I wake up couple of hours later, because I couldn't sleep well, since I was racking my head around what went wrong. So I took everything out of the case, and started from scratch, another 4hrs later for a second attempt, this time was a success. It was such a relief I passed out on the couch, and slept a good 10hrs. Such a headache, and now I'm the tech person for my friends/family, don't regret it.
You forgot the part where u forget to turn it on and rage for no reason
I can relate it was one of the best feelings when it worked
Nothing is more stressful then that first build.
I just finished my first build and it was 5,000 dollars and did not dissapoint
I genuinely started sweating when he peeled the wrap on his case while his pc was on
Facts
When I built my first pc it was really easy. Although I must say I watched over 50 tutorials before even purchasing components.
Still, terrifying experience playing around with glass lego that costs between 100-650 euro's a piece
Dude I was so glad it turned on…wasn’t sure if I plugged in everything right
Built my first one during quarantine, spend 10 total hours building it (albeit with breaks) and I plugged my HDMI into my motherboard and it took me until the next day to figure it out
Now you just need to spend even 1 second cable managing it
I finished my first PC a month ago and I can say, while it's far from perfect, I've never been so happy with a build I've made myself.
Turning it on is the most scariest feeling
That's why in my first PC I got a pre built and learned online then I started building my own PCs
Everything you described in this video happened to me literally yesterday ! 😂 (For my first rig i got an I5-13600KF with an rtx 4060, not too shabby.)
I built my pc only a week ago (first time), and its still feels so good after you finish it, only took me 8 hours
I can't be the only one who's case arrived late so you ended up turning it on with a screw driver between the pins at the bottom
POV: you need a computer to build computer 💀
Forgot the part where you have to pray ten time for it to turn on before you realize you didnt turn the power switch on.
this is why i watch videos of these builds since i can’t afford all the specs
You did a good job for you first time! You could definitely cable manage more but other than that it looks great
I had a myriad of problems when building my first and current pc. First, my cooler kept failing. It kept shutting off my pc due to overheating. Ended up being a loose cable that everyone talks about (Corsair). Then, I got no image from the computer. Also ended up discovering that you’re supposed to plug in directly to the GPU, not the motherboard. Finally, learning what everything meant (resolution, fps, etc) was a nightmare but I’m slowly getting the hang of it. Safe to say I’m glad I listened to my friends who recommended building instead of buying a prebuilt.
Me with asus laptop " ya i-i- can defo relate "
Not me, I researched computer and tech for almost 5 years before I built mine and I knew exactly what to do
"You power it on and it works"
Mine which didn't work:
As someone who is currently building a computer and took a break, I can guarantee this is what it feels like.
The worst feeling when your pc doesn't turn on and then your power supply gets fried
Pray your psu actually works, iv had to wait weeks for a new one, at that point I already lost feeling.
That is literally a better feeling than winning the lottery
That glass panel peel almost gave me heart attack
You almost killed it
I just built my first pc today, and thankfully it worked on the first try.
i dream this kind of stuff lol
I was so excited I didn’t even bother cable managing
The "you begin to doubt if it will even work" is part of every single build.
I am currently doing it and dying in anticipation. I have a CPU coming in the mail after like 2 delays I'll be getting it Monday. Hyped to all hell, and so far with my limited testing I got all the fans spinning (On GPU,Case, and CPU.)
My first build was buying used parts that were broken and spending a month figuring out that it was the motherboard, after replacing cpu, ram, and finally motherboard, I build a $400 1070 build using my dads old gaming pc case from 2005.
Me knowing how to build a pc but still looking stuff up just to make sure I don’t mess up😅
When i finished building my gaming pc my heart was beating so fast thinking it would not work
I just built my first one with my dad yesterday! He got me an MSI RTX 4090 Suprim Liquid X and a Ryzen 9 7950X3D. Haven’t gotten any games yet but I’m sure it’ll easily run any game I throw at it (while sipping power of course).
The best feeling still is when you get scared because the PC needs some seconds until it starts after pressing the power button
I over researched the hell out of it. The only problem I had is nobody tells you about the absolute hell of getting your massive gpu into the tiny space (I did remove the case vent things, and it was easier on the second pc I built). I was confident, but apparently not as I felt a huge amount of shock and relief when it booted and performed perfectly
I wish i could build one day
Similar feeling to first time disassembling and reassembling a PC
that or your dad “helps” you, ends up being you watching in awe as he magically and elegantly puts the magic pieces together and creates your new masterpiece that’s gonna be replaces in a year or two
You forgot getting a heart attack from the pc not booting then realizing the psu wasn’t on
I'm going to build one soon, I hope I don't suck at it XD
Just a tip. Move the fans from the bottom to the back. With them on the bottom there isnt much airflow and your pc might lose some performance.
And then the even worse panic of getting to a point you didn’t expect to be able to get to and having to now deal with software and bios
