    It's almost 2 yrs I have recovered from post stroke injury and I am noticing that my affected body part (right side) feeling heavy. Are there other activities I need to do ? I visit my chiropractor 2x a month.

      It might still be because of weakness. Continue doing therapy. It never stops just like exercises. We continue to improve by doing ❤️❤️❤️

    My mom had a stroke last year she started walking with walker in 2,3 months but then she got covid now she can not walk . Does she has to learn from starting again? Or we can start directly with walker?

    • @SKILLSANDWELLNESS
      @SKILLSANDWELLNESS  2 роки тому +1

      Practice standing first. Work on the balance then taking a step. If she is good with that, practice with a walker

    I had a stroke and I’m doing my recovery at home, so I need help with my recovery. I did do 1 year rehabilitation at a stroke centre
    I came out walking. But that was 13 years ago and now spaciticity has returned. My arm and fingers are tight again. I never did have good control with my arm and hand

    • @SKILLSANDWELLNESS
      @SKILLSANDWELLNESS  2 роки тому

      Keep stretching daily. Then practice using the affected arm with your daily routine

      Maybe practice with a video game with the steering wheels first. That might be close enough to real driving.

    Sir I can't raise my hand after paralises

    • @SKILLSANDWELLNESS
      @SKILLSANDWELLNESS  2 роки тому +1

      Is it stiff? Or do you have a drop hand? If it is stiff, stretch gently and bear weight on it. If it is falccid, do fast brushing, tapping or icing.
