Hi Nathan, Thanking you for all your interesting exercises and making us all (who have had a stroke) feel more positive for all of our futures. I have trouble with the strength on my right hand, so your arm/fingers exercises is totally helpful, thank you again. My stroke only happened 5 weeks and I have definitely made progress, so I am hopeful for the future. The strength on my right leg has now returned 95% but not on my right arm/ fingers. I will continue with your arm exercises and keep you informed about my progress. I think it is imperative we all think positive even when you are having a bad day and best of luck to all.

Hi Nathan I am Julian from South Africa. I had a stroke 13 years ago and I stumbled upon your channel and am now currently busy doing the hand exercises on my left hand. I can definitely feel the results. I would really like to purchase one of the rehabilitation gloves and am definitely going to invest in myself because I am serious about regaining my left arm motor controls. Thank you very much for your recommendations, it is really helping.

Hi Nathan. Thank you for these videos. I am using your techniques in my daughter's rehab program for more than a year now. Referring to hand and arm. I made videos of my daughter performing perfectly normal movements with her affected arm, hand and fingers while she is sleeping or when she is between sleeping and awake. That tells me that there is nothing wrong with her muscles or even her involuntary control that I believe is initiated by the cerebellum. while awake however, she is only able to move her arm up, close her fingers and now pushing her arm open, not so powerful. Have you ever found situations like I describe here? I am not a trained therapist but has learned and accumulated a lot of valuable neurological info. My daughter had an Ischemic stroke left side. Hemiplegia and speech and language affected. Global Aphasia as well as Apraxia. She can now walk and we use your programs and some I developed myself to normalize her walking. Thanks again. Keep it up. Abie. South Africa.

The other problem I working at is the use of my little finger, which I can't use fast and often, I still have weaknesses in that little finger. Otherwise my play has improved. Regular practicing has also improved my fine fingers motor control

Yes. The wrist should not be rigid and contracted. If it is, see your doctor for other options such as botox or tendon release or adjustable splints. For the movements, practice should be daily do the brain can adapt. Our brains are amazing and can be trained

Hi ! I actually had a stroke due to an avm when I was 26, opposite side though. I’m 37 now I can walk but my fingers still don’t move. I gave up too quick for my arm and fingers. Don’t give up tell him not to give up. I’m starting my journey to get movement back now in my hand and fingers. You can try Botox for the stiffness but you have to be careful because it can weaken the muscles as well. I hope Nathan makes a full recovery, don’t give up.❤❤ thinking of him and your family

How does swiping help relax the tone in the hand and wrist? I had a stroke 3.5 years ago. My hand is the last big hurdle in my recovery and I have really strong hypertonicity in my left hand, particularly in my fingers.

Nathan, I have had a mini stroke in my left hemisphere. My right side is affected but, I have good mobility with my arm it is just slow, and a tendency to not pick my foot up completely. My main problem is with dexterity in my hand and expecially my fingers. Do you recommend this video or another

Hello, here we have to work on the nerve pathway starting from the neck down to the shoulder to the scapula. The scapula is the nerve center next to the leg and you need to release the hips in all directions.
The addition of a 1 kg dumbbell ON HAND will help in the overall process, in fact all the movements must be very delicate and delicate and this is what the nerves like delicate movements
    You won't believe it,
I discovered that brushing your teeth and gently shaking your head up will successfully release the neck
I found myself with a kg weight on my hand solving puzzles when standing my body is bent with rotational movements of the hand and rotational movements of the body and thank God.
it works we will emphasize subtle movements it is critical to solveg puzzles for many hours in front of a laptop and the body is bent forward to the computer screen
