@@Tosse901 haha I'm sorry, emotions played out there. Thank you for telling me this btw
Have a nice day
I deleted those comments
I can feel nepos emotions. After grinding and playing for so many days and seeing the title going in your opponents hands is really heartbreaking. The mind doesnt accept it. GG both the players
This is so incredibly emotional. Congratulations to Ding, commiserations to Ian.
衷心祝贺丁立人,太惨烈了。我有幸看到决胜的一刻,我都哭了,更不要说棋手们了。感谢你们!
The Way Ian Looked at the Trophy just conveys so much emotion. And he knew it was over
I didn’t even realize he was looking at the trophy. If he was, that just breaks my heart even more 😭😭😭 bless your heart ian
@@kendanzan8088 trophy in line of sight.. it must have been soul crushing 😢

Absolutely heartbreaking end for Ian... Good luck for him and congratulations to Ding!
@@HenryLobber Sorry(
Man China in Dota 2 and Russia in chess have same situation. 2 time runner up but can’t take trophy 🏆, it’s have being long time
Congrats to LiRen. Such a nice guy. I hope that Ian is not too hard on himself; he is definitely capable of securing the title.
He is going to be thinking about Game 12 for a long, long time. Hopefully, once he gets some distance he can put this all behind him, but that Game 12 blunder, to go from winning to dead lost, from being a half point from the title to dead even, that's the kind of game that can ruin the rest of a career. For his sake, I really hope he can move on from this.
@@jasonkoch3182facts. I hate it when ppl try to paint ian as toxic or undeserving to win the title. He's been there twice ffs, obviously he will let out some emotions in those tough moments.
Salute to both players giving all their best up to the last minute..this is a heart breaking ending..the reaction of nepo makes me cry..and to ding man show a lot of respect not celebrating in front of nepo..this man is amazing still down to earth
I'm feeling so bad for Nepo. I was rooting for him in the last and this world championship. I hope he recovers and maybe even gets another shot for a third time
Ian was totally on par with Magnus, he was the one pushing for the win in the first few games until he broke after game 6. He totally deserved the title this time but he let it slip during game 12 and paid for it. It is going to be extremely difficult for him to recover mentally after this, but I hope he doesn't lose his motivation.
I think for nepo it has everything to do with nerve- and that’s hard to improve on especially if you build up the fear that he has losing these HUGE ex matches
@@pi6141 he did not deserve it because he didn't earn it. He had his chances and threw them away multiple times.
@@brianpetersen570 I couldn’t agree more. It’s so heartbreaking to watch. I hope he wins the WCC one day.
@@brianpetersen570 Well said! If you fail the first time you can just brush off and go "bad luck, I'll try again next time" but the next time you won't be anywhere near as confident and it will only go downhill from there.
Nepo's reaction - pieces falling everywhere, tripping out of the chair. Couldn't get out of there fast enough. Chess is brutal.
Congrats to Ding Liren. That Rg6 when everyone was expecting the repetition was such a ballsy, inspired move in time pressure. Amazing finish.
I realized ian's hand trembling after he dropped those chess pieces to floor. Really, poor Ian.
Note: sorry for confusing words. Yes I feel bad for Ian. He is a very strong player, I love his fast play and some tricky move. I know he is very sad to lost this game and even if I root for Ding, I still feel sad for Ian.
Wtf are you on about. That was the realization that he lost the match sinking in. Nothing poor about it, if anything you have to feel for Nepo here.
@@abdullahwaris1275 Bro, that is what he was saying bozo
@@abdullahwaris1275 read the comment idoit😂
@Abdullah Waris this might be a language thing, but I’d interpret that sentence to mean “poor Ian” as in he’s feeling badly for Ian. I will admit it was worded a bit confusingly though.
@@abdullahwaris1275 maybe English isn't your forte, "poor Ian", means "my sympathies to Ian"
So proud of Ding! He’s been through so much just to get here!
I actually have major respect for Nepo now. Beaten down and broken into pieces twice. He will return forsure in the next 3-5 years to keep fighting for what he has wanted for so long! Great sportsmanship by both players though. What a great match!
nepo reaction is so heartbreaking man, congratulations to ding
Lets not forget how bold Ding is, he gets so mad at himself when he has to defend, still pulled of incredible defense when it mattered and then choosing to play for a win with THE ICONIC 'Rg6', the new World Champion 🙏
That was an insane decision to play for a win with so little time. I lost it when seeing it live
A worthy world champion . Truly the child of fate . Replaced Karjakin in the 2023 candidates ,Ding loses his first game to Nepo . wins against Hikaru in the final candidates match comes second and qualifies due to Magnus withdrawing . Now wins here .
But for Ding however it could have been Hikaru instead...not that he cares.
I know ian will bounce back much stronger and congratulations to Ding he showcased his resilience and brilliance
I wouldn't be so sure. It takes so much mental power to do this and he got broken the second time now.
So heartbreaking for Nepo, he had the championship in the bag multiple times and let it slip through his fingers. I really hope he gets another shot.
Brilliant decision by ding for keep playing when he could make a draw !!
we're about to get the greatest ding meets rapport clip
fancy to see mr top gear guy here
I was watching it live and when Ian knocked down a piece, it was very very heartbreaking. A lot of people experience the same feeling, of course not in chess but one way or another, we could all relate to Ian.
😢IAN reaction made me feel like I lost my whole world
Congratulations Ding ❤
Both of them are pure gold talents with great hearts. Thank you both for giving us this!
Damn, I was rooting for Ding but after seeing this I wanna give both men a brotherly hug
I truly feel Ian's pain😢 congratulations Ding 🎉
Its an incredible story for Ding to even make it to the match, then we have one of the best World Championship matches ever. Amazing stuff!
What a legendary story of struggle and success has Ding created! Needs to be made into a movie.
Congratulations Ding you deserve it. You were so calm focusing and ... Bravo
He truly deserved this. Congratulations Ding, I’m so proud of you❤🎉🎉
Can’t wait to see ding meet rapport after this game
Man Cried a lot, burned a lot and shouted a lot,in the end Chess wins Man..oh gosh...It's Ding and Nepo, both are winners in my eyes but yeah as a loyal supporter of his dignity, his compassion, his humility and his brutality over the board yet being so submissive is actually what makes him the World Champion in my eyes...❤❤❤Ding Liren-The 17th World Chess Champion, the Man on a mission who has won millions of hearts...My Heart was aching and throbbing all this while but my Heart goes out for Ian,Man What a Fight, what a Challenger 🎉...He is one for the ages...❤❤❤But When it mattered the most,Ding put into all his hard work into those two decisive moves-Rg6 as well as a2...Long way to go...Congratulations Ding,Congratulations Nepo...What a WCC Final we had my gosh...🎉🎉🎉
One of the most reserved yet emotional displays from both opponents I've ever seen in a chess match.
Congratulations to Ding! Heartbreaking for Ian, its hard to be physically stable when youre that upset about a situation. Still an awesome dude, hope he wins it next time.
I hope we see two new fresh faces next time.
Well, unless Ding abdicates we'll see him vs someone else. As much as I like Ian, it would be nice to see the young GMs begin their takeover
*_This proves chess is not only a battle of minds. Emotion as well._*
This world championship match in particular is testament to that!
Looks like more of a relief for Ding. All those years of hard work paying off
Congrats to both players for exciting matches and Ding must be the most humble man on planet earth, what a man and what a play in this final game.
@@عبدالرحمن_الناصر you probably are a 13 year old who barely knows chess

High respect to both players and congrats to Ding Liren! Ian was a monster at attacking with his pieces, Ding was excellent at defending.
I came back to look at Nepo's devasting push of the pieces when he realised he'd lost. One of the most iconic videos in chess history. The raw emotions is just palpable
Ding legit had me nervous there. Congrats my man
Nepo must be completely broken
The look he gave on the camera his hands were shaking
he had the lead but messed up twice
he was looking at the trophy pretty sure not the camera
@@ZoeylaRose trophy was at the other side
You can even see it in the frame
The way the captured black pieces by Ian tumble on the table and fall on the ground from his grip is both a brutal and a symbolic defeat.
I noticed Nepo is furious against himself but even he sees that Ding forgot he already shook his hand he accepts doing it a second time with respect.
Nepo showed a lot of grace in the final moment of the game. I cannot imagine the tempest of emotion running in all its body and the sadness and frustration.
Respect guys! You offered us a fight without mercy at every stage of the match!
How many of them loved Ding’s dedication and the way he showed his humane attitude towards the rumour spread by the people.. ❤❤🎉🎉😊😊 HAPPY TO SEE DING AS A WORLD CHAMPION..!!!
Ding is a fighter well deserved champion 🍁
Nerves of steel from Ding. Courageous spirit.
What a extraordinary comeback by Ding. Respect to Nepo, he played like a monster throughout the game.
Thanks to these two players for doing their best. They gave us a great world championship, full of emotions.
Great chess from both players. Ding really won my support in this match as he fought back from behind.
Being able to defeat Ian with his prep leaking halfway through the match is really a clutch performance by Ding. Wow.
There wasn't even any proof that it was actually dings prep lol. I doubt nepo and his team even looked at the prep because there was no certainty of it being dings.

Seeing Ian stare at the world championship trophy, then knocking the pieces down before Qxa2, and then unable to get out of his chair. I feel for him. And congratulations Ding Liren, first player from China to win the world chess championship. A new era of chess has begun
The shaking hand after knocking the pieces off the table. This is truly special for Chess.
This looks like something out of a movie. So much emotion. Heartbreaking for Ian to lose with the white pieces in the last seconds of the last game
Two very lovable players. Poor Ian. Pure class from Ding. Most entertaining WC match ever.
Man I hope Nepo gets another shot at this. Really feel for the guy
I hope Rapport or about a half dozen others get the chance. Nepo has had his run.
Ian Nepomniachtchi showed us in these last minutes how great chess is. Only a great sport is able to strike such strong and bright sparks of emotions from people
What an awesome, heartstopping conclusion! Congrats Ding!
Being ahead the whole tournament pretty much. Even seeing Ding loose on time one game.
Seeing Ian's emotions at the end, is gut wrenching. GG to both players for putting on an exciting championship. And congratz to Ding. It's the small margins that change everything.
The moment chess made viewers cry. I feel for both of them. All the behind stories that lead to this, great games. Congratulations to Ding Liren. 🥰

Heart breaking for Ian..I have felt these for fact moments throughout my life so I know how it feels 😢
What a sport man..!! The emotions the courage the mastermind moves.. everything comes into the picture in this world championship. Ian's heartbreak and Ding's living his moment and absorbing the reality that he's the new CHESS WORLD CHAMPION
Hats off to both of em for amazing gameplay..what a tournament it was.!
Поздравляем Динга с потрясающей победой🎉
Idk if anyone noticed but ian was on the verge of throwing his bottle that's pure emotions 💔
Ian ... moment of realisation is just😭😭 congratulations ding but Nepo you fought well
He fought well but he has a habit of playing either really well or falling apart.
That was brutal to watch. Was cheering for Ding but seeing Nepo collapse that way was heart breaking. Congrats to Ding for one helluva series.
I like that ding won with a brilliant move, not a full Ian blunder. Congrats to Ding. He’s a calculating genius. But the hurt on Ian face at the end, heartbreaking moment.
