I've learned that after years of denying it, I crave the simple life. A homestead with a few chickens, and huge gardens and maybe a small orchard. I've been gardening for several years now, I learned how to home can my own foods as well. That's what I learned about myself. That I'm a homesteader at heart. Great video!

I’ve been dealing with delayed gratification for years but at this point I’m starting to realise I delay it on purpose as if I have to punish myself to work work work more. Perhaps this is the year I start enjoying the harvest.
I'm with you 10000% about the loud spaces and bar/drinking scene. We truly need things that help people with different desires have joy as well. I really appreciated this list, wonderful tips!

Jo it was so good to hear you, I missed your videos! I really loved your video and all your insightful thoughts. Just wanted to say that as a gen z yes I do still mail things! I keep in touch with friends from home as we are all on our seperate travels and adventures through postcards and cute cards filled with stories of what we are doing. I think this tradition was brought back to life during the coronoa lockdowns when we couldn't see each other so we sent letters to each other, even if we only lived 10 minutes apart. Really looking forward to seeing what you will create in 2024!

I remember listening to it a lot while on my way to work and it was the first podcast I remember actually enjoying and tuning into regularly 😅So glad you're bringing it back! Can't wait to see what other insights you explore in it - I remember writing down so many of the ones you shared; your wisdom and experience are both incredibly profound and moving! 🫶
She is gonna hate this if she reads it but I just have such a high opinion of this girl. From what you can tell of her online content she has such a rich inner life, and she thinks so deeply and she seems so warm and tender. Her brilliance and charisma really shine through even across a computer screen. Not to mention those ravishing curls and her heavenly smile.
I mean there’s only so much a guy can take. I hope whatever man has the good fortune to be with her is totally in love with her. Because there are probably a million men out there who would fall for this girl in a day. I sure would.

She is lovely but I doubt personal experiences can be enough to guide and council others. This self-development videos can turn to self-congratulations and be a little "me myself and I" sometimes. Im glad the end of the video seemed a bit more sincere.
