RyotaruYamizaki Actually, I think he chose those characters because he likes the games. Phoenix Wright, Viewtiful Joe and Devil May Cry are some great games Capcom has made.

Through some questioning, Akuma was found to have been lying in his earlier testimony. with some heavy scolding by the Judge (and Maya) Akuma's statements were stricken from the record. However, Wesker was still confident that he could win the case. he tried to fight Wrights reasoning, but Wright knew he had all he needed

Ngl, something about Phoenix just strikes me as badass. The idea that he really is just a normal person and still manages to stack up to literal gods, demons and all that with just his determination to find the truth and his skills as a defender of the law... It's just so fucking cool. He don't need martial arts, guns, lasers, powers or anything fancy. What he needs is hard proof that his opponent has a skill issue to put them in court and send 'em to jail. I love it so much.
...and they say Deadpool was the best in MvC3. Tish! They got it wrong sister. Phoenix is clearly the best. He's got his coconut weapon. (people say he sucks, but i say OBJECTION OVERRULED!)
I always wanted to know, do you regret not ending this with a level 3 hyper? I remember Maximiliandood said it would of been the greatest finisher to a 1v3 if you did. :(
By playing not-so-good. The past couple of weeks I've intentionally played recklessly to see if I could make a Phoenix Wright comeback on ranked without x-factor or too much turnabout mode. As a result I lost a lot of EXP, got tea-bagged/taunted countless times, and my Lord status got changed to Ranger. But it'll catch back up to Lord soon enough!
I love how UMvC3 took the Judge from the Phoenix Wright games and turned him into an enormous, dark, glowy-eyed God of the Underworld (or something like that). He actually looks scary and imposing for once! :-D
Investigation mode: HAHA! TOO EASY! YOU CANT BEAT ME!!! Trial mode: MUAHAHHAHAHA THIS IS TOO EASY Turnabout mode: AAAAARGH!!!! GOD SAVE US ALL!!!! HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm not really the guy to ask, but you know that pentagon graph you get to see at the end of every fight? Depending on what section is highest, that'll determine what type of rank you are. Your fighting style determines how it pans out. Offense is simply attacking (Ranger), Adv. offense is attacking with assists (Scout), Defense is gained by blocking (Guard) and Adv. defense is related to how much you advance guard (Judge). Using all 4 techniques well to win the match raises stability (Lord).
I usually wait until the other player leaves an opening when trying to attack me. Wright's one of the hardest characters to "open" someone up, so focus on getting your evidence first, and fight through his defenses with someone else on your team. people with multi-hitting attacks (like joe's air S) do very well against Hulk.
I have never laughed so hard at how perfectly one syncs up music to a fighting game. XD You sir, are by far the BEST Phoenix Wright player I've laid eyes upon. Hats off to you!
Bloodline Revenge Pearl is a character in ace attorney whose main character trope is shipping Phoenix X Maya. She's also able to KO Wright in 5 hits, and out-run a train. Hence, getting on Pearl's good side may be a good idea for Wright...
I'm terribly sorry for keeping yourself and everyone else looking for more vids on my channel. I highly underestimated how long the Wright tutorial would take, but if all goes well I think it'll be finished and uploaded sometime this weekend.
Just saying, Franziska von Karma would be next in line to get in as far as Ace Attorney is concerned, since she has a crap-ton of work put into her from TvC before she was scrapped.
It's a valid point. I notice it more when watching other Phoenix Wright players fight. Putting too much desperation into getting turnabout can cost the match quite easily. Hopefully I'll find that right balance between collecting evidence and taking the fight to the opponent. The problem is Phoenix Wright's pretty bad when it comes to fighting, in this case the guy felt happy enough just attacking Maya's shield though. Thanks for the comment! And I'm glad you enjoy the vids ^^
You should've warned me to not get too excited about 7 months ago. The adrenaline from this match has slightly worn off by now... oh wait, I'm getting excited again!
I'm throwing a tutorial vid that should help with all of this (almost finished) but you can start the stance change before Phoenix touches the ground. just remember that a stance change doesn't need to be down, down, Special. You can press the second down + Special at the same time. So essentially you can press down before you hit the ground then down+S once his feet hit the floor and cancel immediately into Order in the Court from there. Hope that helps, it should just take some practice.
I know about the Maya thing (just managed a comeback thanks to it moments ago) but I have no idea how you could combo his air grab into objection without an assist.
Sadly, Joe's Uppercut does very little to keep people at bay. It has no invincibility (that I'm aware of...) and even if it hits someone it will only knock them back for a short moment. Jam session on the other hand has a lot of projectile invincibility and will not only protect Wright from attacks like hidden missiles, but it often catches people trying to jump in and will shock them in the air for a second before knocking them back. This gives Nick much more time to gather evidence.
I don't know. You can still win matches and become a ranger. You just change to ranger class if you're playing less sensibly than you should (You're a Lord if your Stability is highest)
+The Person I Once Was He IS low tier. The smart move Capcom/Marvel did was his make him go from low tier to S tier for around 20 seconds, hence "Turnabout".

I don't understand. You're saying that the problem is that you use Joe's Groovy Uppercut? Then why not try a different assist like Shocking Pink. It might not stop rush down but it would make people think twice about approaching you if a bomb's in the way.
I've only seen that glitch happen when Wright's Order In the Court Countered Rocket Raccoon. It's not unlikely that Capcom has already fixed that glitch in an update.
When I have the silly funds for going to conventions in more than one costume, I'll just go in day one as Viewtiful Joe (in the casual DLC attire) then Dante day two and Phoenix Wright on the last day.
It sounds like you've got a Dazzle capture card. If it only accepts 3 cables then you need a composite cable for your console to plug into it. After installing the software that came with it you should be able to see the gameplay on your computer screen. Be wary that composite capture cards don't result in a very good quality when you record with them. I use an AVerMedia HD internal capture card that records HDMI signals. Did I add you to my 360 list? If so I'll try and play some UMvC3 soon.

Hulk quickly shattered most of Dante's statements. Phoenix then tried to use Joe's Testimony, which slowed Hulk. But then Hulk mentioned the statements of Akuma. He used this powerful testimony to not only the remains of Dante's statements, but took out Joe's as well. Wright was out of help.

ZetsuboArchfiend is probably right, but I always just saw it as "It doesn't matter if you're guilty or not, I beat you up."
