To prevent accidental cut injury’s…Using a damp washcloth, hand towel, paper towel etc. under your cutting board will prevent it from sliding around. Great recipe thank you!
They say that pickles do go bad, BUT WHEN THEY DO…YOU WILL KNOW! There will be NO DOUBT! I can’t keep pickles in the refrigerator long enough to ever find out on my own! You have showed up and showed out once again! You’re such a showoff! ❤
My experience is that pickles will actually get soft and suffer a decline in texture. I think because of the vinegar they don’t spoil in the classic sense. My understanding of this.
Pickles don't expire because they are pickled but they can produce mould on top of the liquid when you're keeping them from putting forks in and out and creating bacteria. I'm the same as you. I don't keep them long enough in the fridge to find out but a jar or two has been left at the back of the fridge LOL. So that's how I know but in saying that my boyfriend has not noticed the mould on top and eaten a pickle from the jar and he said it didn't taste bad. But we then drained them and put them in the compost/ rubbish bin
I also use my instantpot to make my eggs. I put several in, in the morning. Then I just leave it be until lunch or later. Also to shred my chicken I just use a hand mixer. If you've not done it that way it's awesome 😊. Perfectly shredded chicken in no time. I'll have to try this tomorrow. I do something similar but I use tuna. Pickles do eventually turn rancid. Whew, I pulled a funky jar out of the back bottom of my fridge that had gone unnoticed for far to long lol. I had my husband taste it and made a awful face. He said tastes worse than rancid tea.
We use the 4 min boiling, 4 min rested in the hot water and 4 min in cold water method but that is because we like them a wee bit soft in the middle. Just our preference. 😜
@@CrystalsCleanKitchen thanks 👍oh and we use the pot on the stove, was thinking about getting the kitchen equipment that you have so I'll keep that in my back pocket for the future.
@CrystalsCleanKitchen Soy! I also can't afford the soy free mayos. I'm thinking with the cottage cheese and seasoning, I might not need the mayo! Thanks for responding! 😀
@marianneballard5005 the mayonnaise that I used does not have any soy in it. I also buy it from Costco and it is not too expensive and it does last quite a while. Check out the brand chosen and if you have a Costco membership, that’s even better.
Also, I have a recipe that I have been waiting to do for a mayonnaise that I think you would love. I will try to get that out as soon as possible for you
Can I ask a question? Do you think it would freeze well? I think it might not freeze well due to the recipe. Just wondering maybe freeze it in a cryovac bag and not a container???? 🤔
@CrystalsCleanKitchen Yes we have one of those machines and we use it quite a lot and I think this recipe would be fantastic for camping or taking to family events to save on constantly being in the kitchen. So I will try a recipe and see if I can use the machine to freeze it. (Now just to find the time before Christmas to do it LOL) Have a great rest of your week!.
Very good! Lettuce tacos have become normal for me, keeps the carbs low. Thank you!
Thank you for watching

What a unique and awesome way of doing Chicken Salad! You have piqued my interest and I definitely will be trying this!
Thank you so much. Let me know how it turns out.
Great recipe. Excellent idea of combing egg and chicken salad together. Thanks for sharing.

Subscribed! Great recipe! It’s such a great combo! I’ve done tuna and egg salad before but the chicken sounds even better.❤
Thanks so much

Good idea. I wonder if you could eliminate the mayo altogether and just add a little more cottage cheese?
You could or you could also add more mustard. What ingredient in the mayonnaise can you not eat?

@orlaferris8178 it is so convenient
Sounds good! I can't have mayo! What is a good substitute? 😀
What ingredient in mayonnaise can you not eat because I might know of a substitute mayonnaise that you could possibly have

I have never tried it, but I just got given me a machine that seals stuff for the freezer so maybe I will try it with that

I use 2 forks to shred the chicken.
