I really appreciate your videos. I recently got a vitpilen 401 for my commute and find this content helpful with finding good mods for my bike, although a different model than the svart
I did almost the same thing while purchasing the bike. In addition to bike I purchased ergo seats and rear fender eliminator. As much as I wanted to get the mirrors I just didn't feel comfortable paying extra 350 euros to mirrors so I bought the same mirrors you've purchased. (not the same brand but probably same product since they are all made in China) It worked well for me so far :)
Perfect timing I've just been getting used to my new Svartpilen and even though it's my first bike I was thinking that the mirrors weren't quite accommodating for wider shoulders and due to their placement you physically could not alter their angle to see behind you effectively. I hate it because I don't feel as safe without that rear vision, I like to know what's going on around me all the time. I'll look into these mirrors, thank you for all your videos on the 401 you've got a sub!
Yes, the stock mirrors really are useless. Even the dealer told me that. Ride safely and watch Dan Dan the fireman! Car accidents are annoying but motorcycle accidents are life-changing events. Thanks for the sub.
I have a 20usd bar end mirror by SEC and they are FANTASTIC! Mirrors are big and not zoomed in. Dropped the bike multiple times during adventuring and the mirrors never broke. Just scratches that can be mended with a black paint. NGL best upgrade I've done on my Svart.
I just ordered a Komine SA-214 tank bag, curious if we pickup up the same bag. I wanted that bag because it would have a place for me to put my military ID when I come into base. Will make that much easier than searching around in a pocket with gloves. I'll be picking up my bike from Umedia Sunday. Didn't go with the dealer you picked yours up at because I was offered a good chunk of change for accessories that would make the price pretty comparable to what you paid and I really like hanging out at the Chigasaki Umedia. For the accessories I ordered, I decided to pickup the rekluce auto clutch, off road ish pegs and a USB port. Paid a little extra to get ETC installed as well. I'll install the clutch myself later, maybe around 500 kilometers.
Glad you got a good deal on the bike. Sounds like we are thinking the same thing. I have the komine bag and with a bit of modification, it looks like it could work.
@@bikesonabudgetjapan ok, yeah I'm thinking to maybe sew the front magnets together to be in the middle, or remove them and sew them to the bottom, not sure yet but I saw a video of someone using it in Japan with a svartpilen the other night and it's perfect for my need except it's not waterproof. Just going to spray it with some water wicking stuff for fabrics.

Please send more information ! where from, link etc?
@@sebastianahc the Style 6 in the color selection. That's the one.
@@sebastianahc seems like my link was removed
It wasn't me who removed it. Must be google..
You can also buy Mirror Wideners, which move the stock mirrors both upwards and outwards if you dont want to go down the Bar End route
Interesting. Do you have a link for that?
@@bikesonabudgetjapan R&G sell them. Thought I'd attached a link but doesnt seem to have worked.

I bought those one and they can not stay firm. Any advice or a video of how to put them steady?
They work fine for me. You need to use thread lock.
Hi, Was it the universal 13-18mm bar size you got ?
I'm pretty sure it was. Universal fit.
can you still use the bar weight inserts with the Fenrirs or does all that material inside the bar handle have to come out? cheers
You don't need to take the weights out. The Fenrir's fit. Very easy to put on.
thanks@@bikesonabudgetjapan
