Man, the Hisense matched their own. Both sound great and none is the clear winner but more often preferred the Hisense. Considering price difference...easy choice for me.
The Hisense isn't bad, but not up to the performance of the Club 120. I had posted a deal a little while back when the Club 120 was $299.99. That was a great deal. The Hisense on amazon.com is currently going for $229.99, which isn't bad, but it has been less.
According to music reproduction reviews, I think the Hisense reproduces rock music more faithfully than the JBL Party box. In other music, it lags a bit in the lowest soft bass and a bit more boosted mids. But just a little, it's no "banging sheet metal on sheet metal" :-) Plus it has an FM radio for background listening while working without having to tune the music in the player. For the built-in radio, just the preset equalizer is handy, since the sound source is not a smartphone. I opted for the Hisense, the JBL 120 doesn't have the above advantages. Sonically the difference is small and the price is -€100 (25%-30%). I just ordered, let it be home already 🙂
I have the hisense too, its honestly incredible, especially in terms of bass. I agree, JBL is better but i would argue that it's at maximum 10% better. The only major downside is the lack of an app. If the hisense had an app with built in EQ, i think it would be a no brainer.
I do the remote control and equalizer control in the music app on my smartphone. I use Poweramp and it is incomparably better compared to the JBL app. I can tweak the music in it much better.
What would you choose between Hisense Party Rocker One and LG XBOOM XL7, if they had the same price? Which one do you think is the most balanced in terms of bass, volume and sound quality? Keep up the good work!
Well if I were to be buying one of the two, the Hisense is quite a bit less $$, so I would probably go with that. Hisense on Amazon right now is $199.99 and the LG XL7 is $399.99. If I got to pick one of the two for free, chances are I would pick the XL7. It's a decent speaker and has the cool pixel display and app support.
Hi Jay, nice video. I think u should let each speaker speak a bit more before switching to help us memorise the volume and differences. Thanks for this video
In the past I actually had somebody say I was letting each speaker play too long on a video a few years back. You can't please everybody. 😂 Most people don't complain, but there are always one or two.
hmmm, i am confused by the Hisense party rockers. There is a model called Party Rocker One Plus (aka hp110) and i dont find the specs ... Since your model is without the plus and that is called hp100...

What would you recommend between the Hisense and a JBL Xtreme 3 if purely focusing on sound quality as they sell for the same price and from what I can find in South Africa the JBL 110 is more 3x the price of the Hisense
Two very different speaker types. Obviously if you want something more portable, the Xtreme 3 is far better to carry around. The Hisense is actually a pretty solid speaker overall. It has mic and guitar jacks, so more of a party speaker you would most likely keep around the house primarily. For me personally, if offered one of the two, I would most likely take the Hisense. It has a bigger sound and louder, being a lot larger of course, and the sound can be adjusted to your preference with the different EQ modes and bass option.
Another possibility is the rms is higher with less efficient drivers in the speaker i doubt its twice the power output but just another possible factor in cheaper speakers
It's not bad. It has been $200 for a while on Amazon, but the Partybox 110 was also $200 for a while during the Christmas season. The JBL is the better speaker.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews no I didn't I didn't realize it was blown until after the return window closed. I have other small speakers I use. Mainly the tribit stormbox and the JBL Go 3. I just got that Sowo speaker just to try it out I like it at first until it blew.
The Hisense Party Rocker is a solid speaker for sure, other than the battery life rather low. It's currently $230 on amazon.com. The Partybox 120 was recently $300 on a deal I posted, which has now ended. I think if you can catch the Partybox 120 for $300 or less it's well worth $70 more over the Hisense.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews I’ll be keeping it for my collection and will buy JBL Stage 320 or Marshall Woburn III in the next 2-3 months. By the way, you have a great channel for those who wanna learn about different speakers. I’ll recommend your channel to my friends.
With bass boost on, the Hisense seems to be more aimed at more mid bass by the sound of it. I may prefer to just leave the bass boost off.
The more competition there is in these categories the better these products get over time.

Heck yes thank you so much!!! Great review, that hisense actually holds its own pretty decently, but jbl still kicks its butt

The Hisense isn't a bad speaker, actually better than I expected. It's no Partybox, however. Have fun with it. 😊

Is Hisense much louder and better than W-King x20?
How does the hisense fair against the W-king t9pro?
I guess we will have to find out soon

Since your model is without the plus and that is called hp100...
I believe the difference is the Plus model comes with wireless microphones. That wasn't ever an option in America as far as I know.
Great video. I see u moving up in the world 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
I'm glad one of us sees that. 😅
Hi Jay, how does the Hisense compare to the W King T 11?
It's quite a bit larger than the T11, so it does have a fuller sound overall.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews Cool, thanks for the info.👍
how long does the Hisense battery last when its playing lets say 70-80% volume ?
I only tested at 53% volume. I'm not Consumer Reports. 😆
Can't wait to get a pair of PB120... will rock 🤞🤞
You can get a JBL partybox 110 for $299 but if you could get that at $150 that's T11 pricing
$150 is a fair price on the Hisense..$250 not so much.
When we connect two Hisense speakers together, will it be TWS Stereo?\
Yes.

So overall the JBL is the best to get?
The Hisense isn't a bad speaker, but the Club 120 is just too hard to beat.
Can you daisy chain the hisense to the jbl?
If the hisense has a aux in , yes you can daisy chain them beacause the jbl has ab aux out😊
Yes i did it with a 110 and it is ❤❤❤❤
why does the jbl say 160w alnd the hisense 300 yet they seem equally powrful?
@@marcosalejandrosaavedraech5255 some of these companies use sketchy math to list the power or they lost a peak power and don't lost it as peak.
JBL states the RMS power while Hisense state the Peak Power, the Hisense is around 150 watts RMS so 10 watts less than the JBL
