People who say that JBL has too much bass or that the bass overpowers the mids and highs - your argument is invalid as long as EQ exists. You can adjust the amount of bass to your liking. Sony needs to stop with the STUPID square woofer design. They did that with some of their subs even a couple decades ago, it was stupid then, and it's stupid now. The only reason to do it is to look different, when physics clearly dictates that round is the ideal shape for a speaker, for very obvious reasons. With 2 woofers, the JBL simply has more surface area, so it's definitely winning in the bass department, and with less distortion than the weird square woofer, that's going to have weird non-pistonic motion and cone flex/resonances.

Since ultimates bass absorb the music which reach in the mic i think you should play it lower like 50% which is already to loud, to see if the mic can handle this. @@joseorestesdelgado6574i agree with u that JBl has better bass than Sony...however i am not a bass lover...i like to listen more on vocals clarity and instrumentals crispiness...therefore i choose Sony.
I said both are durable...u dnt read it well do u?
Outdoor sound test please...
Unfortunately, I am not able to due to neighbors.
I still prefer ultimate in bass ,,
Both are good just buy one❤❤
Jbl sound stage is narrow and sony is open. I like Sony. Sony has smooth bass. Jbl lights awesome.
it was biased review. Vocals on Sony are much better.
Sony clear sound ❤
no
No. Sony is not clearer than JBL. It's just screaming.
@@LukeR1M Yessss😊
Sony is clearer than JBL yes i agree with u but JBL has better bass
One of my fav song!
@@AshishMassey Which song is it that you like?
@@Real_Reviewsoh, it's the Like That by SIIK & JJL.
@@AshishMassey Yes it's a good one. I really like it as well. Thanks for commenting.
Sony ULT Tower 10 would be amazing if it HAD deep bass.
JBL Partybox Ultimate will always be the king of loud deep bass!!!!!!
Sony will never beat JBL deep bass!!!!
JBL will stay as the king of loud deep bass for decades, or even longer!!!!!!
Music is not bass alone...other listeners like me are not bass lovers...i like vocals clarity, surround and intrumental crispiness so i choose Sony it has better orchestra effect and theater like sound than JBl....
I do agree with u that JBL has better bass than Sony...i know
Party speaker without bass 🤣🤣 maybe it's for children school party 😂😂
Sony made it like that intentionally to balance the sound lmfao everything music is all about the bass only 🤦🏽♂️
sony is far far good cuz you can make sony sound more bass oriented but not jbl shound more clear
Sony has more details and louder hard sharp bass.
JBL has louder bass. Sony has more audible bass which is obvious as it focuses more on mid and upper bass.
O áudio da Sony é mais nítido.
Pra quem gosta de suavidade, é a JBL.
Since ultimates bass absorb the music which reach in the mic i think you should play it lower like 50% which is already to loud, to see if the mic can handle this. Right now the mic isnt giving justice.Nice touch you mention it at the start but i really dont understand why youtubers play it at maximum power since they arent able to reproduce the sound only outside and far can it play at maximum. Nice video keep it up.
I think you are right. I did just post a short on the Ultimate with volume at 50% and using a better microphone, the Traxshot Pro. Below is the link. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks

@@Real_Reviews That definitely sounded much better. But if you can afford a binaural microphone it would be the best. Binaural microphones capture lower frequencies much more accurately than the typical shotgun mics. So we can judge the bass differences better.
This is only a suggestion though.
@@LukeR1M I will look into it. Thank you
(SO NICE)
sony sound more livable
Yes in person you can really hear the difference.
It's a Sony
Sony intentionally make its bass not that booming as JBL becoz its especialty is its surround vocal clarity that is why its using horn tweeters to maintain its clarity with high frequency...JBL tweeters are at times husky at max volumes..
I do feel that JBL has a bit too much bass at times so I have a few EQ set ups to help out with that.
Sony or JBL,I think I like it both, both good quality!!
Sony 🏆 jbl ultimate👑
Sony has clearly voice
JBL= Off road speaker.
What does that even mean?
@ALEX-R.77 it means she's capable. The Sony couldn't go off road, but will certainly make some smoke. It would come down to price for most.
@@CensorMeNot-dv5lgshow proof please...
There's no JBL in my chilldhood so i go for SONY 😊
There’s no iphone in your childhood so go for nokia😂
@@diyerstv74 yes yes from Finland
to the author: next time just say at the beginning that you are 100% for JBL and it will be not a real review. Sony vocals are much better and the stereo system is much better. I like to do parties, but I also like audio quality, not only deep base..
@vacoumy Trust me. I had high hopes since Sony was my 1st party speaker. I wish I could show the raw footage of my true feelings after listening to the Ult Tower 10, but it would be inappropriate. Trust me on that one. Sony build quality is not good, vocals just scream, and bass was non-existent. That's my Real Review. Sorry but Sony needs to step it up.
Sony for me!
Still Sony bro,I listened with my earphones on,and it was Sony, definitely!!
Sony is better
SONY GOT MORE HD SOUND
The difference in the vocals is astonishing. Sony all day
sony has thr best and clarity and loud
It might be my Macbook speakers, but the Sony sounds much better.
Yes, Sony is clearer and more spatious. JBL fans can't understand sound quality. They just want they brains crushed by the base.
Sony má lepší podání zvuku,neprebasovane...JBL sem měl 710 a i nové Ultimate....ty basy hrůza 🫣 dunění nic víc, Sony má čisčí podání zvuku...dá se poslouchat celí den ... prostě lepší kvalita zvuku kdo chce opravdu přebasovane a jen slyšet dunění...ne detaily zvuku tak JBL bude jak bourací kladivo
Sony = Calidad
JBL is definitely boom box
Sony sounds much better
Unfair comparison. This guy had it backwards, he ran the Sony on ult1, ult2 is the deep bass, ult1 is the punchy bass. Huge difference. I have both, the jbl does have way better bass, but for overall sound quality the Sony's better.
Directly from Sony:
ULT1: This setting emphasizes the deep bass range over other sounds.
ULT2: This setting emphasizes powerful sound more than
ULT1. OFF: Turns off the ULT button setting.
I have the same opinion. I like parties and deep base, but I hate it when the mids are unclear. Sony is better, it's not destroying mids and highs.
Im guessing you don't own one because im telling you ult2 is where the bass booms.@Real_Reviews
Ult1 is the deep bass boost. Can't believe that someone who has the speaker still gets this wrong. Shows how much we should value your opinion.
I understand what it says, but I also understand how it sounds. ult2 is where it kicks ass. No need to be rude Robert. @RobertV6
You will never convice a JBL fanboi there is a world outside of JBL. Period.
Or maybe you're just too blinded with Sony. Once you listen to JBL speakers in person, you'll never buy Sony again.
@@RobertV6I have both products and it all just comes down to personal preference both speakers sound good and I always preferred Sony will admit jbls bass hits a lower frequency but I mean at that point it’s rlly not by much the Sony gets louder and has plenty of bass and enough to satisfy anyone.
Sony king wygrywa .
Nr1 sony ult tower 10
Nr2 jbl 710
Nr3 jbl 310
Nr4 sony xv900
Sony sound is better. And I like Sony lights more. And the author it seems is not sincere.
I like the clearer sound of Sony. But I’m a metal head so bass isn’t everything to me
@FrmTheFlmzIRise The drums of the metal songs on the JBL make you feel like you are live at the concert.
Sony👍👍
I would prefer Sony’s sound because it is more expressive.
That Sony looks sexier I ain’t gonna lie 🤔
looks terrible lol
Looks worse than their speakers from 30 years ago....
@@edensl8759You can say what you want about the sound but the Sony does look better lol. Stop being a fan boy of JBL.
Looks ugly and cheap. Nothing premium about this speaker, aside from price.
@@HOODCHRYMER yea it looks better for cheap karaoke kids, looks like you're one. no need to be a jbl fanboy to say it's embarrassing
