The inflation issue did not really surface until U.S. energy production came under attack after the current administration came to power. That made transportation of goods more expensive forcing the cost of raw materials to finished goods go up. The president of the World Bank recently stated high energy prices are the base cause of inflation not a thriving economy. Mr. Forbes is correct that the current administration and the federal bank are going in the wrong direction.
