They just don't want to understand because it conflicts with their silly religious fables.

@@4-Methylaminorex get your racist effing !@$ the hell out of here. G. F. Y.
Let me get this straight.
You shouldn't believe in evolution because there's "no evidence" [insert remaining brainrot of an argument]
But then in the next breath he explains that he believes in creationism, which ACTUALLY has no evidence whatsoever.
Brilliant.
Haha have to laugh at the 'well there's no hard evidence of seemless fucken whatever whatever' and then 'I believe we were created because you see there's this old book'
My thoughts exactly.
It's truly astounding how Carlson will believe whatever evidence (or peception of) exists for his faith being true, but ignore the planet sized amount of evidence for evoluton. It's one thing to acknowledge both and still choose faith (instead of both like most people), it's another thing entirely to just outright claim evoluton has no evidence behind it.
Or they say creationism is real because we are here on earth , That’s their evidence . 🤷♂️
It's the length of time-- billions of years-- that ignorant people not only can't grasp, but won't make an effort to try to respect a concept that has no day-to-day or year-to-year illustration. A culture that's into pop this and pop that, has trouble trying to visualize something that's more than 5 years old.
This is the guy that was mindblown by a French supermarket in Moscow having bread and coin operated trolleys. Yeah not surprised.
He just adored Stalins metro stations too 😂
He could have had all of that by visiting an Aldi
To be fair he was being paid and/or blackmailed into doing that dumb stunt.
If Tucker ever finds himself broke and out of work, he can always get around by letting people punch his face for a fair penny.
Hell, I'd do it for free.
too bad he's an heir to the swanson fortune. fun fact.
Darwin formed his theory of evolution during his sea voyage of 1837-39. Even back then, he knew more than Tucker in 2024.
Until science can explain the origin of the Big Bang (who/what/why), everything that followed is just a theory. Don’t just say it all came from a tiny dense fireball. Believing in the theories of big bang and evolution is just as big a leap of faith as believing in god.
average IQ peaked in about 1880. and has been reducing 1 point per decade since. We are now at 1600ish levels of IQ. Idiocracy is real
Tucker is right. Trump supporters had not evolved with the times.
Genetic, Paleobiological, biogeographical, and molecular biological evidence is wasted on the ignorant
Well before that, science understood there was a process of evolution. Darwin just explained the mechanism by which it occurred.
I love how Joe Rogan can say "Evolution is real" Then answer with "I don't know" and people swear he is the best person because he "sees both sides"
in one sentence he say i know its a fact then says well i dont know. So which is it? He needs to stand his ground.
Like tucker said, adaptation, but a single cell organism turned billions of species? Hell no
Well he's just having a conversation does he need to speak in fact 100%in every moment of his life
@@mj3673 He doesn't understand billions of years for this evolution.
I keep saying it: Joe Rogan is a MEATHEAD!
In true collegiate Debate Champion style, Tucker makes an ongoing practice of saying things that he knows are blatantly false and doing it convincingly enough to persuade others to actually believe it. He gets paid extraordinarily well for his mastery as a professional liar.
They not false ... I suggest you study evolution instead of thinking your smart following the scientific fake consensus they created for ... The simpletons.
Evolution is so flawed and without any substance .
You have to be a regurgitating speacies to repeat it
I just do not understand how is this even a question in this day and age. How is it possible that anybody questions evolution?
I have given up on the idea of Tucker Carlson.
There is no evolution in Tucker Carlson. 😊
Hopefully, you hadn't been holding on to the idea of him for too long.
Carlson remains only a theory now
Unfortunately Tucker Carlson is real. I wish otherwise.
It was over when he came on TV as a grown man in a red bow tie looking like Jr. from Problem Child. 😂
It’s scary how confidently Tuck speaks, not just that evolution is wrong but that we’ve given up on the theory. Wow. 😮 This is delusion.
he just reads whatever script his russian handlers give him that day
He is a master liar, and whereas Trump and MTG actually believe their own lies, Tucker knows full well he is lying, and yet he lies with such confidence. A truly dangerous man and no doubt will be moving into politics soon where he could gain real power with the MAGA backing.
No, it is a well trained and rehearsed act.
he also doesn't seem to know what a scientific theory is, instead treating it like it's just some hypothetical theory someone speculated. He even said it himself "its just a theory" no its a scientific theory...
Next week he'll just as confidently say something like, "There's no evidence that Australia is real. I think we've given up on the idea that Australia is real."
A lot of people don’t realize that animals don’t automatically turn to fossils. The conditions for fossilization are very specific and that’s why we don’t have a more extensive fossil record.
You need:
1. Rapid Burial
2. Low Oxygen (Earth had a higher oxygen environment in the past)
3. Hard Parts like bone
4. Sedimentary Rock Formation
5. Lack of Geological Disturbances
6. Chemical Conditions (high PH and the right mineral content)
I constantly wonder about all the millions of species of animals since well before the dinosaurs and through that we will never know existed because there is no fossil record. We probably don’t even know 25% of the dinosaurs that ever existed
I realize that. What you don't seem to realize is that you just admitted there isn't much evidence in the fossils record.
You're saying why we don't have the evidence, and it makes sense...but we don't have the evidence.
@@josephvega1161 the fact we don't have a lot of fossils compared to all life that has ever existed on earth does not imply in any way, shape or form that the fossils we do have are not enough to draw certain conclusions with extremely high confidence
@Johnny_Savage Except we don't. Maybe we will eventually, though.
@@josephvega1161 We did not admit there isn’t much evidence. We said fossils don’t form for most dead animals. There is an overwhelming mountain of evidence for evolution in the fossil record.
He might have a point, after all he is proof that a certain group of the population are not evolving.
Tucker doesn't know how unlikely it is for a fossil to be preserved. The reason we don't have a perfectly complete fossil record is that 99.9999+ percent of everything that dies decomposes.
not to mention how drastically the earth has changed since these things would have occurred
He doesn't believe the bull 💩 he's spewing. He's grifting his ignorant audience.
Creationists also would have you believe that since evidence for evolution can only piece together perhaps 300 pieces of a 500-piece puzzle, there is absolutely no way we can reasonably infer what picture the entire puzzle would form if we had the other 200 pieces. We might make a few mistakes trying to fill in the gaps due to a lack of puzzle pieces, but it's a damn sight better than reading a completely unfalsifiable biblical account of human history and assuming everything in that book is 100% true and accurate. The only evidence we have for the bible is the bible and a few odd discoveries that might jive with a few passages from the bible about a very limited number of people, places, and events.
@@glennpearson9348This is partly why I believe in both God and science

Is there any evidence that a single cell evolved into what we have now?
Think about how cool and wondrous that is, the sort of reverence it can inspire for the universe. The real universe that you and I and everyone and every thing, living and not, is a part of. Now compare that to a worldview that says your sole purpose on Earth is to bring "glory," whatever that means, to a being who is supposedly good, but not for any particular reason, just because. A being who would just as soon abandon you to perdition for failing to bring "glory" to him. Again, whatever that means.
At the core of the Christian worldview is a spiritual desert, and it conscripts men, women, and children into meaningless, small living every single day.

If you don't trust people who know the subject, you make up your own explanation, and even if you are presenting with evidence saying your explanation is not true, The person that made up the belief will respond with anger and lash out at others around them. And until they are ready, they will not listen or learn new information on the subject.
Tucker's uni should revoke his degree. He is insane.
We have several unevolved people...like Tucker Carlson!
And emptygee 😂
My "Theory" is that Tucker is the only evidence of a human that never evolved.
This debate isn’t even worth having. It a complete waste of time to have it - like arguing with someone over germ theory for flat earth theory. Do not engage.
I'm surprised David didn't let it continue for a few more seconds, because that was probably the dumbest statement Tucker made. Right where it gets cut off, Joe is explaining the idea that today we have much more info/knowledge today and Tucker disagrees and says we actually know less today than we used to! To me, that was the most absurd statement of all
Holy moly... I am a conservative and have to admit that this is bloody embarrassing.
I get it, I'm embarrassed by progressives all the time too. I think it's the rejection of empiricism that does it for me.
@@arnigeir1597 Could you provide an example of what you mean by this? I am on the left but genuinely interested in what you mean (no hate! here for respectful discussions), but typically those I've met do mention ARGUEMENTS regarding empiricism, but I've yet to meet someone who entirely rejects it and also identifies as progressive, let alone leaning towards "rationalism". IME. it is much much more common in those on the religious right (ie. God instilled wisdom, sin, etc in people before birth, etc.).
I think he's referring to how there is evidence monkey's bred with each other on different continents but there's no evidence of how they got to each other. David also makes a claim that you can trace genetics from monkeys to single cells and you actually cannot always, this is the main claim. Mostly that the dark ages might show something else. This is still during Europa, where all the land was more connected. Its actually a new age belief that (lol bare with me) aliens bred monkeys and made humans. This is apparently why egyptians were giants (google Skeltons of giants found in egypt), big heads. And thats why the egyptians carvings show helicopters and flying fire disks (UFOs?). Now I dont know why religious god fearing Tucker is entertaining this, its normally a Kabbalah Jewish Mysticism thing. This is also found in the Ethiopian bible, which has 60 deleted books removed by the Vatican and other higher authorities from the new and old testament. If anyone is interested in what Tucker is referring to, and being skeptical of Darwin, look into Deloros Cannon alien chronicles or the Ethiopian deleted books of the bible
You are not conservative if you are watching Pakman. You couldn’t watch this and not throw up on your keyboard.
@@treygowdyspurpletie9878 That's false. I'm Conservative as well and I enjoy watching Pakman's show. It's okay to disagree with people on certain topics.
I think that the sophistry that Carlson was reaching for is that Darwin pushed a ladder theory instead of a branch theory. But that's like saying that there is no gravity because Newtonian physics doesn't encompass relativity.
Who needs science? Tucker Carlson has smirks, silly rhetorical questions, and confidence. What could possibly be a better foundation to science than a sarcastic face.
I think that half the people who profess to believe in Biblical creation are just angling for cash or cred among the evangelicals. They don't actually believe what they say.
Carlson's laugh should be the dictionary definition of unhinged.
Such a little simpering dipsh*t.
Hey Tucker God isn't real
You are going to make him cry.
Awesome replies
I agree. Satan is my savior and your savior.
Satan is real
@@NY_METAL_CROSS If Satan is real, then God is real
I feel like reading these comments is evidence of Idiocracy.
Never heard or read anyone in my life who say there is no evolution who actually comprehend what it is. Saying there is no evolution is akin to saying the Earth is flat, or that dinosaurs never existed. This guy Tucker who ever he is, is either completely uninformed on the subject or is playing an act for his audience.
Holy... Tucker's untelegraphed psychotic laugh @7:00 was absolutely terrifying. And I'm a horror movie fan and quite familiar with his laugh, but the way this one just burst forth like from some alternate more insane personality, and then just casually talking through it while his face is completely locked, is the stuff of nightmares.
You sound like a scared little boi

Yeah but Commie Trump loves these people because they are so gullible
But it’s so much better than liberal mythology and hypocrisy
Oh man. The attack on logic we have seen that has been decided deserves serious consideration is insane.
Australia is a great example of natural selection. We had no hooved animals, until Europeans introduced them, because most of our country is desert, and the layer of topsoil is very thin. Hooved animals, break up that thin layer, and it gets blown away by the wind, washes away when it rains, and so on. The early settlers tried to use European farming methods, and they almost died of starvation. If they’d asked the indigenous people, which plants, fruits and vegetables were edible, the environment would be in better shape, because they would have grown those plants as crops, and eaten the animals that had evolved in Australia’s unique environment. Same with New Zealand.

The worst types of people are elevated to fame in US culture.
The world is only 6000 years old. Tucker Carlson read it in a book, thus debunking well researched and peer reviewed scientific research.
The sad part is, many, many people believe exactly this.
Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't Creationists into the delusion that the world is 4000 years old?
Also what makes evolution on the of the top level of scientific accuracy, is the enormous amount of data corroborated by many other scientific fields from decades of research in relation to each other, where evidence is crossing the different fields of study to confirm scientific theories on top of each other.
So it's not only scientific research, it's many fields of studies that confirms one another into a global consensus that no one can disprove scientifically.
Tuc is an evangelical to the bone... so of course he lands on the side of "evolution isnt real, god made the thing"... which i get that some ppl think that. but the fact that he says "yeahhh darwin's evolution has been disproven, everyone knows that" Lmao
@@grghkllb3875not only do they believe that nonsense they’re also trying to force kids to learn it in public schools if not de-emphasize evolution so they can pretend YEC has just as much evidence as evolution.
@heyyoitsmebrian even catholicism has moved past the whole "take the bible literal phase". It's only the religious extremists that make up a majority of the American South who still spout that BS. The school districts who haven't gotten new textbooks in the past 50 years.
I don't for a moment believe that Tucker believes this. It seems to me that he's setting up a soft grift pad for him to fall onto.
-Evolution is real.
-Is it?
-I don't know.
The most NPC convo ever.
Reason Tucker believes evolution isn't real: Because God made everything just as it is. Evolution is science; God is not. And that cackle at the end was the creepiest thing I've seen and heard in a long time.
I was looking for someone to mention the creepy cackle. Maniacal. Gross.
Thank you
It is important to remember that Tucker grew up extremely sheltered. He couldn't go play with the other kids because their parents were too poor.
The dawn of American democracy didn’t come in 1776, with the Declaration of Independence. It didn’t come in 1788, when the Constitution was ratified by the states, or in 1789, when George Washington took office.
The symbolic birth of our system of government didn’t come until its noble ideals were actually put to the test.
On September 19, 215 years ago, Washington published his farewell address, marking one of the first peaceful transfers of power in American history and cementing the country’s status as a stable, democratic state.
This moment was crucial for creating the in-and-out system of government that we have.
And this is unique. In that time and era, politicians would gain power, or kings would stay in office until they die.
At that stage in American history, before precedents such as the two-term limit were even set, many were uncertain about what would happen after a galvanizing figure like Washington resigned office.
But at this critical juncture, the leadership of Washington and others proved more than adequate to preserve the democracy.
“Stepping down from power is unique..”
“It’s a powerful statement about Washington and American democracy..”
Donald Trump is just another test for us...
(This article was written in 2011 by the Smithsonian Institute..)
Written before Trump was in office.. This seems very fitting now in 2024..
Cheers humans!!

TC chooses not to have this discussion with evolutionary biologists or any of the other scientists that study evolution. He chooses Joe Rogan, the authoritative source.
The most disturbing thing about Carlson is just how popular and influential he is among his audience, specifically BECAUSE OF his beliefs. Really tells you a lot about the state of American conservatism.
BTW David, Alfred Russell Wallace also independently came up with the hypothesis of evolution through natural selection at the same time half-way around the world studying insects. He even wrote to Darwin about it, causing Darwin to hurry up and publish.
How Tucker has even an iota of credibility is beyond me. In the comment section of his JRE interview, everyone is in love with this clown and I just don't understand it. Are we that braindead as a country?
Short answer is yes. Ignorance is worn like a badge of honor to many people.
In many parts, yes. And many of the actions by some of the rich and powerful should wear a lot of responsibility.
Unfortunately about 30% are absolute dimwits.
Have you seen the interviews outside a trump rally? Big Tucker fans. Dumber than rope.
It is truly depressing how many millions can't see him for exactly who he is. A dangerous conman who spreads lie after lie. It's not even a right vs left thing anymore. He doesn't represent the right, he just wants to burn everything down and profit from it.
People who think we haven't evolved from cells seems to forget about DNA being in every single living thing.
To be fair, “Darwinian Evolution” has been left behind by newer theories of evolution, just as Newton’s idea of gravity also became a relic post Einstein.
Adaptation is one major part of evolution. Those of the species that go on to survive have evolved.
‘Adaptation’ is just another word for evolution. Ask a creationist to describe how ‘adaptation’ occurs and they’ll describe biological evolution.
The trouble is that the Creationists use "adaptation" differently, denying the underlying random variations which make some groups more fit to breed and thus continue in particular (especially changing) circumstances. They will admit that some humans have mutations in their genes which mean they get some disorder or have some ability (e.g. 4 cone types in the eye rather than 3, giving colour perception differences) never seen in the family before, but often deny that this is an aspect of evolution. They do not see antibiotic resistance in bacteria, or new variants of viruses as evidence of evolution in action, they call it "adaptation" as though it isn't random mutations where some prosper and others fail - they effectively imply it is in some sense willed, as though no mutations fail.
I find it fruitful to ask them "Can you explain what you mean by adaptation?" They generally have used it as a block - a word removing access to thinking about the process involved - but some talk about methylisation of genes blocking their expression. Knowing what they understand is important. Some have literally no idea of what they mean by "adaptation" beyond "like learning to get along in a new city."
@@old_grey_cat If you do the laying out of the process and get their agreement with each step of the evolution, they will just label it ‘adaptation’, despite it being the exact process of evolution.
Tucker Carlson has never been accused of being bright 😂😂😂
I will keep saying it until people listen. This kind of shit is so damn dangerous.
What’s dangerous is the fact that you voted for biden, a kkk supporter. You are a racist. Shut up
