- I live on the east coast of Australia, in a semi off-grid recycled caravan tiny home. I’m using as much renewable technology as I can to sustain my lifestyle and reduce my carbon footprint. 3 months ago I gave up my car and now I commute on a Super73 electric bike.

Your part of Australia looks like Pennsylvania only subtropical. I admire the high production value of your videos you do a very good job thank you for sharing such salient information
Yes, UA-cam, recommend more videos like these to me.
I'm a computer science and software engineering student in Seattle who's recently cancelled my car insurance and bought an ebike. I want to move to the Netherlands, and I was first inspired by Not Just Bikes.
And I love hearing everyone else's freedom for cars stories like this.
Not Just Bikes is great.
Hey Amie, I recently found your videos and just wanted to say I've been loving them. You are so talented and your beautiful heart shows through in all that you do. We've recently bought a old Viscount for family holidays and your van is an inspiration!
All this rain is depressing enough when you have a car and a house, so can't imagine how much it must affect you living in your van. Makes you appreciate our usual sunshine hey!🌞You probably don't remember me but I work in the antique shop still occasionally so remember you from when you worked around the corner years ago. All the best to you and your beautiful dogs. 😊
Hey Loren, what a lovely comment! Thank you so much for your kind words :)
Yes I remember you, it’s been a long time! Nearly 10 years in fact.
Thanks for reaching out and all the best with your van Xx
@@PKTLFE Thanks lovely! Looking forward to seeing more content from you, I find your videos so relaxing and beautifully edited. Sorry for spelling your name wrong, just edited it. Yep, it's been ages...I only work at the antique shop once a month now just to help out and to visit beautiful Samford 💚🌿 Stay safe on that bike, the traffic out there is getting crazy!
@@lorenburns2756 I’ll have to ride in and say hello when you’re working :) DM me on Instagram
You are very smart riding in a full face. Your face and head are so important! Great video...thank you for sharing and taking the time to film and edit for us! 😊
No worries! Thanks for watching :)
Great to see another video Amie, they're so relaxing to watch.
Thank you for watching :)
Yay. She's back. Awesome. Glad you posted another vid Amie. Good to see your smiling face. Send some of that rain my way to Alaska. Training the chickens. Awesome.
Yes it’s been awhile! This weather has been suppressing my creativity. How’s the weather in Alaska?
The snows finally going away. We have already had a few small fires. Don't need any of that. A bit of rain would be nice. Maybe chase off some of these big mosquitoes.
12:27 oh yes, it can be 80 F (27 C) and sunny, but I'll still get too cold if I don't wear long sleeves on my ebike.
I’ve been loving my S1. It’s been nice filling up every few weeks instead of every few days
You can save so much money on fuel! That’s for sure :)
congrats on the 73!!!! im here for the journey!
I am thinking of getting one of those bikes
Love your story!
QLD rail now allows bikes on peak hour trains. Hope this helps.
travel only in the first and last carriages on six-car trains (not permitted on three-car trains)
board via the first or last train door
check for space and ensure only two bikes or e-scooters are in the first and last carriages at one time.
Oh amazing info! Thank so much for sharing :)
Can you get a metal worker to make the part you need???
Probably, but I don’t know any local metal workers :(
use a garmin radar, I use it when I ride my e-bike, I ride in an urban environment and I need more eyes than just a mirror -pair it with a wahoo or a garmin computer works well don't need a phone
Love the bike, it looks great fun as well as being very handy for you in the absence of a car. I assume Amazon Aus don’t hold your spares? It’s great to see you back. Take care xx
Thanks Andrew :) what do you mean about Amazon holding spares?
Sounds like Kentucky weather 👍
Hey Randy, now we’ve got strong wind and cold days! It’s taken another turn..
holy cool bike and lifestyle
Thank you :)
Perhaps a freight forwarder will allow you to purchase from the US site to their US address, then they would forward to your Aus address?
Not sure how much the service would cost but there are lots of providers nowadays, for price comparison :)
I’ve never heard of this kind of service, although I can imagine they exist. Thanks for the idea, I’ll look into it :)
Can you put a mud flap on the bike fender to keep the mud off you?
I’ll have to look into this! 😅
Doing what you have too.
So, you can't get E bike parts, but you can buy a snowboarding helmet ? Do you have snow there ?
Haha exactly!! No we don’t have snow here only down south in VIctoria.
where can we bike this bike Amie? in Australia?
You can purchase this bike from Ben Buckler Boards in Australia. If you type Super73 Australia into Google Ben usually pops up first :)
Nice video. Are you using any type of tire slime?
Nope! I don’t know much about it. Does it help prevent tyre punctures?
@@PKTLFE yes it's must!!
Armor-dilloz is awesome but green slime might be the easiest to get.
You can get it at automotive, bike, motorcycle or sports equipment stores , even petrol stations

Can't you get your companion to remove the visor? If you put the camera next to a heater, will that dry out the lenses? I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your car😢🌷❣
Hey Gerry, thanks for watching! Cameras are being service this week. So hopefully that will sort the moisture out. The weather has taken a turn again! Not we have very strong wind up to 200km/h!!! No more rain for now so everything is starting to dry out thankfully. I hope your world is okay?
Are a young lady that would be very easy to fall in love with you have learned to live a wonderful life
Make your dog fresh food. It's no effort.
