You have the perfect voice and speech for tutorials.
I think he's trying to say that you have a sexy voice
what a nice compliment!
So I hear of this LaunchBox thing and decide to learn it.
I buy the 50 dollar license and proceed to head over to UA-cam to start learning.
Top of the list...ETA PRIME! (I should have known!)
Once again on yet another system ETA Prime is there to show the way.
This channel deserves supporting!
Everytime I watch your videos I learn so much and feel like I can finally share my childhood with my kids. Thanks, so much. I have so many ideas of things to do now. Thank you so much (By the way, I'm watching this in 2019! I expect all those updates your speaking of are out. hahaha)
Great how-to video! Just convinced a few friends to get LaunchBox after showing them this tutorial.
ETA i can't begin to thank you and appreciate the time you take to explain everything for us beginners. :)
Thank you so much! It was a great tutorial. Very comprehensive, clear, and to the point. You got yourself a new like and sub. Keep up the great work.
When it comes to retro and the like your videos are always the best. Massive thank you for all your help and hard work.
I was trying to do this well I had the flu, my brain was absolutely melting, and I found this insanely helpful to keep me on track. Thanks so much.

Hi ETA PRIME, I just wanted to say that you sold me with this video. I've purchased a launchbox lincense and become an Emumovies supporter. Thanks for this guide!
Love the videos thanks for the help. I'm gonna get that 200 intel for a table top arcade build. It's fast enough for all my classic games. I'll use my PC for the rest.
You've helped me out a lot with your sbc and emulation videos, thought I'd say thanks.
Thank you so much for all the help getting this set up, ETA Prime.
As always, nice simple video. For those interested in getting license for LB, they offer discounts for some holidays. I got mine for 20 bucks (life time license) on black Friday few years back. Well spent 20 bucks, IMHO.
Thank you for this, it has solved issues I have been having for months, brilliant tutorial
Thank you so much dude! even though this tutorial is a few years old, It helped me so much! This def deserves a place in me "gud tutorials" playlists lol
So I just subscribed and youtube recommended I look at this video. Hot damn, this is exactly what I've been looking for. Thanks ETA! I think I'll be going premium with this in the near future.
Thanks for a great tutorial. Just bought a Black Friday lifetime membership. Looking forward to a lot of fun building my game center.
Ok that's it I'm definitely making a media center PC with this, you be sold me on it lmao
Hi from Puerto Rico, your tutorial is extremely easy. Thanks.
Your launchbox tutorials have been so helpful getting me up and running. Have you ever thought of putting together a play list with all your launchbox videos. It would make it easier for us beginners. Every time I think I've seen all your launchbox videos, I find another, and although I have only loadedy snes roms so far, I have still learned a lot for your other videos. Like I learned how to go full screen from your neogeo video even though I have not downloaded my neogeo ROMs yet. I thank you, your videos have been a big help in getting me up and going.
Thank you! I appreciate the clear and to the point instructions. 1000 likes!
Very informative , clean, and easy to understand , you just got a new Subscriber 😃
Thanks for all your videos. Your always extremely helpful with this kind of thing.
This is totally amazing, definitely getting premium in the future!
Set up went smooth. Thanks ETA.
Amazing work Love the vid... I'ma try it when I built my next PC...
Thank you for the video tutorial. Big helps for me to how to set up Big Box/ Launch Box
LaunchBox is awesome just been playing some Sega games I haven't played for over 20 years lol Great video, Thanks!
Thank you bro learn every time i watch you
Thanks was considering either launchbox or big box but now that I've see ur videos on big box and decided to get big box instead 😀
I love your Videos, You are quite an asset to the gaming community.
I no longer need so many shortcuts on my desktop.
This is epic, thank you VERY much for this tutorial ETA!
I was kind of afraid to give launchbox a try since I know nothing about emulation and was kinda pushed back just by looking at it.
Thank gamer jesus people like you exist.
Thank you! Now I can set the PC for my arcade
Thank you many times ETA!
I just picked up the 10 dollar license for big box! I love it so far! I am currently setting it up on my usb hard drive so when I finish building my new pc I can transfer it over. :)
Prime thanks for this was trying to figure out how to run retro through lauchbox
The Professor has spoken.. I'm so out of the loop. Lol this is cool. Hey hope your family is well. With the virus scare spare time, I will try this. Cheers sir.
Could you make all guides on the internet? Really well done, really simple to follow and really, really helpful. Thank you.
You deserve alot more subscribers.
Thats so true
2:37 Well RIP me....... I spent time downloading all of them individually XD lol
Great video. I am glad I know there are ways to download everything in a single click
@Druid sleep torrenting
Awesome tutorial! I'm so going to set this up. Now to get me some roms!!!
shit tutorial did not even tell us which emus are compatible...fktard...
Got to say Iv'e only been using Launchbox for a couple of day but i absolutely love it. it makes it a lot easier to chose which game to play when you can see the image and not having to wade through thousands of roms.
Also I love the fact that you can add windows games I have a couple of hundred games installed on my PC and many of these have shortcuts on my desktop which I admit looks a mess but with Launchbox this takes away the hassle of trying to find space for more shortcuts.
Thanks for this!!!
Awesome video thanks a lot! There's probably more recent ones but this is the first useful one that came up. Only downside is I found a ROM set with 3400 SNES games and the downloading of box art is taking 2min per game loool....
I'm very interested in doing this for my next big Arcade 1Up mod build running on my old 2007 Gateway PC. The big box is really freaking cool!
Quality content !!!! Thank you very much Sir !!!
Great intro video! Thanks!
Thanks. Very nice and helpful information.
Great video, clear anf helpful. Thank tou so mje
Your mednafen video made me came to this video, and I couldn't be happier
2 days later and i am still importing rom's, not even half way, man this better be worth it ETA-Prime, LoL

Thanks for the video, importing NES and Snes as we speak. Can't wait to battle my son in Tetris tonight.
Greetings from México, I'm a fan!
Ty so much for the nice step by step..
Wow merci pour tous tes tutoriels thank you
Thanks for the help ,I use launchbox but I never installed retroarch into it though
Good stuff..... Thanx. 😀
Thanks for the video!
Do you think you can do a video on your favorite cores for every console?
Thx for the help I be getting to emulators I now it's a old vid but it help still
thanks for the guide
Only 50 bucks for lifetime updates!? Thats incredibly reasonable for such an outstanding developed front end. This has got to be the ultimate setup.
ETA great video!! Can you do a part 2 to demonstrate how to use big box with a arcade joystick such and a pandora box arcade joystick or any you would recommend? I think the arcade retro world is here to stay!!
Love your vids dude... very easy to follow... btw its up to 75 for a lifetime license as of 12/18/21
Soon as the Super Nintendo Box Art started popping up. I said “dope” and went in and bought BigBox. $75 bucks completely worth it. Time to build this server I always wanted too!
Installing in 3 2 1.... this is awesome ETAPRIMA question, can you use this premium account on more pc's or just one?
When using a "core" in retroarch such as the snes9x... Will I be able to change settings for that core so it matches all the settings in the standalone snes9x emulator such as graphical filters and so on?
Yes
Are you making an advanced users guide as well? I would really like to understand more of the nitty gritty details that i haven't even thought about before.
Thanks!
Hey ETA.. Can u tell me what intro video you were using when you launched big box. It’s really awesome. Thanks for all the great tutorials.
Helle ETA
Thanks for great videos and so nice tips! How can I use my Ipac Ultimate I/O with BigBox. I’ve made a nice 2 player arcade machine and can’t figure out how to use Ipac to control this system ?
Best regards
Simon
love your voice and your vids (:
I bought a license and when I right click on a game, the 'configure' menu option is greyed out. I wanted to configure each game with different graphics resolutions and graphics filters, like most other emulators offer... Any idea what's going on here?
Any thoughts on doing a more current video about this being it's 2 years old and there are newer version of launch box/big box and emulators? Your videos on any topic are some of the very best!!!
Agreed.
Love your work. Do you have one about n64 on Launchbox?
does it fully work when offline ? or is the artwork etc all reliaint on being online. great tutorial !!
Artwork is all downloaded with rom import.
this is freakin awsome
thank you so much
Anyone figure out the intro video? Can't find it in the Launchbox forums. :-(
I'd like your intro video how can I get it?, BTW after trying emustation, hyperspin and cant remember the other I decided to go Launchbox you made it so easy thanks for the tut
Looks like back to Retroarch for me!
How come when I moved my n64 Games it made the box art for all games but didn’t move all games
TYSM U Are The BEST
THANKS ! ETA P
Just first want to say thank you again for offering such detailed tutorials. I am wondering if there would be any reason for you to make an updated tutorial video considering the current version is like 11 now. I'm just about to start with this video, but noticed the version of LaunchBox here is outdated. Not sure if there has been any big changes? Thanks.
I think I have watched all of your videos for Bigbox setup. You have the Xtension Arcade kit. Do you use a software install for the button configuration? I mean can you do a video on mapping the controls that will cover all game platforms?
This looks very interesting. I have a complete HyperSpin setup, but I think this looks much cleaner, plus it uses RetroArch, which I use already on many other platforms. So in your opinion, how does this compare to HyperSpin?
what controllers should I get for this? I want the 8bitdo but i want to play with freinds
can you tell me when useing Big Box can i some how set it to boot up when turning on the PC as i am making a arcade cabinet . thankyou you are Awesome.
this makes life easy. how about a light gun game tutorial? would be good
Would love a tutorial to set up my spinner and trackball. Mame and launchbox seem to recognize it as a mouse and I can’t get it to work with any of my compatible arcade games. Thanks!
I’m gonna build an arcade cab for use with this. Might make a UA-cam on it.
Hey @eta thanks for this video; I got all the way through and have Launchbox setup and Retroarch within it. It looks great!
But, I did hit one snag. I have 2 x Logitech f710 controllers and for the life of me, I can't get them to be identified and of course configure. They are wireless.
Have you or anyone else in this thread) come across this before? thank again for the videos!
Thanks for the video! Is there a way to have the pc boot right into Launchbox?
Hey! Which intro video are you using for Big Box in this video? Didn't see that one on the forum when I checked. Thanks!
Great video, thanks. Just wondering how you would go about installing and running launchbox when retroarch is already installed and running fine. Would the only option be to have a portable version of retroarch running and then move the whole folder over into launchbox?? what if your version of retroarch is not portable?
Can it be burned as a image file to boot directly into it like recalbox?
awesome, how you setup to download video for each game is it with emumovie subscribtion thanks
Thank you.
How do I get the audio to come from the analog port for the SEGA Dreamcast emulator on the Raspberry Pi. I have it switched to analog or the aux in raspi-config but it seems like that audio only works from HDMI for the Dreamcast everything else work just fine for audio.
