Damn with that massive database of games I’ll never leave the house. 😮
@mormacfey funny you say that because a coworker of mine told me something similar lol.
no you dont @mormacfey
@mormacfey oh hell no
@mormacfeywhat thing you have that is larger
teez nuts@@Benjyy_lll
Just ordered my 96TB setup from KCM. Building a massive 75" super gaming arcade setup. This will make a good all in one solution. Thanks for the video!
what kinda pc/specs do u need to run latest xbox and ps5 thas what i dont understand
can you help me understand the pricing and what you are getting i saw the 96TB option was like 4k is that right and what does it come with and what cost $600 dollars?
@@reggiepathak9684 I just ordered a full new system from Newegg that mirrors my current gaming system. Intel i9 13900K, 128GB DDR5, 4TB SSD main drive, RTX 4090. Considering the PS4/XSX games are actually PC games that were offered on both, you can go from the PC requirements.
@@kakarot81 600 bux is 1 16tb drive. they have different collections I would assume you'd choose for the 1 drive. if you get all 5 its about 3600 bux.
We’re you able to play multiplayer with ps or Xbox games?
I now have the full 96 TB collection from KrisCoolMod that I'm adding to TWO systems I built from scratch; one is an all-white build with Asus ROG Maximus Z690 Formula motherboard + Intel i9 13900K + ROG Strix II 360 liquid cooler + 64 GB RAM @ 6000 MHz + Asus ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4080. The other is an all-black system with Asus ROG Crosshair X670E Hero motherboard + Ryzen 9 7950X3D + Ryujin III 360 ARGB liquid cooler + 96 GB RAM @ 6600 MHz + Asus ROG Matrix Platinum GeForce RTX 4090 (liquid cooled).
Wow just wow, this is every retro gamers dream right here.
That along with another 200 years added to our life expectancy!
This is unreal. I've seen a lot of emulators but this has to be the biggest and best I've ever seen *so far
I just cant believe this. Amazing collection and perfect emulation
It's a breakthrough! You can imagine how big the team is in order to put that together! It was a joy to watch and although I've recently watched this kinda thing on a recent premier video for fans to join in, this time I was glad of not having the distraction to fully immerse myself in the experience or would've been difficult to rapidly absorb. It's overwhelming that it literally has EVERYTHING in possible! Something for everyone!
Can’t wait for this review!
Love your channel retro gaming guy, you come up with some bangers! Glad your channel is growing you're great for the community! I should have got some coke and chips with this one....lol keep making those videos bro!!!
Thanks for the kind words!!
This thing is freaking amazing
I could only dream of that! That's beyond insane.
Nostalgic games they say, my childhood's been based on marbles, slingshots and rubber bands and sticks!🤣
This is indeed really 101% Crazy!
Whoaa!! Many consoles and games. Also added ps5 and series x. That's crazy 🤪 cool video btw 😎👍🏾
It's isn't real fam come on
The PS5 and XBSX are just PC games, they're not PS5/XBSX games. There is currently no emulator for either console, nor even the XB1 or PS4 yet unfortunately.
This is the one for all to get I have this 96TB version it emulates all consoles and their libraries from the 1st generation to now amazing you can obviously do this yourself for cheaper but this build is phenomenal not a bad price for 600 bucks or so for just the hard drive if you buy the whole setup it’s like 5-10K the ps5 and Xbox x/s is not emulation it’s PC games released from those consoles there isn’t a ps5 or Xbox x/s emulation chip set yet unfortunately but someone will make it soon enough I’m shocked and blessed we even have ps4 switch xbox one for emulation already
is simple bro i did long such time ago ps5 and ps4 are windows games the icons and themes are edited at the theme emulation
@@fatawuabdulai639 yeah I know ps5 and Xbox x/s are windows and PC games
Ps4 is not a complete library yet
Which build did you get that was roughly 600?
I am so confused on pricing and the website isnt that helpful. 600 bucks buys you what?
I am very impressed by the number of systems. really at the top. Now I would like to see some rare and never before seen game shot. Example: on Naomi or on tecknop parrot, or Monkey 2. why not organize a live evening where you could play live to show us this in the coming days of October 2023
This is an awesome all in one preservation solution.
I’d love one with just Ps1, Ps2, PS3, PSP, GameCube, Xbox, and Xbox 360.
48tb one for like $1080 you can get from hyperarcade systems
Them get a kinhank 12 tb Drive they cost 300€ and are Plug and play
I also played that original version of the Oregon trail on a old Macintosh computer that pretty much looked exactly the same as the example one used in the menu for that game system
This is incredibly impressive. When you break it down, for what you get, the price is more than fair. I do have to say however that you would have to be one SERIOUS gamer, and not just a casual gamer to get your money's worth. I love gaming, but I couldn't possibly even begin to scratch the surface with the number of games available. I think the 4 TB build is what more people will be interested in, in my opinion.
yeah 3600 bux for this is insane amount of money. you buy this if money is no object and you want big dick energy to show off to random internet strangers and ur nerd friends who would appreciate it lol
Are you trolling? You can ALL of this for free.
@@imnotyou23 pls tell me how?
@@imnotyou23 ya he left out the part where it cost 4000 USD O.O w t a f !!!!!!!
@TwinTailTerror yes but it's 5 years to building this. He put so much work into this.
This video was perfect for me to find games to emulate lmao.
awesome build
"What games does this have?"
"Yes."
😊
my brain can't fathom that number that's beyond insane storage
Awesome love the video bro, keep up the good work.
Thanks!
Awesome!
This is the Holy grail ive been looking for.
Awesome video Chase, thanks. What an absolute dream of a build. Sounds like a steep price tag but the value is actually pretty insane All Things Considered you're getting so many games for that price, and new games!
how much does this cost
Ok but how many games actually work?
Somebody else said 3800 dollars. So it's almost about 3 Grand your 96 terabytes alone if you were purchasing just the space
@MNNMMNNMMNNM where are y'all getting these price numbers from? Was on his website a couple weeks ago and was on there today and the prices for those hard drives are still the same high price compared to the ones you talking about. The 48TB is $2400 while the 96TB is damn near $4800!!
@darriellhayes9236
It looks like the drive, alone, is over $4000 US. He sells a PC for about $13000 US. Full setup is almost 20k. The price of a REALLY nice used car.
Whoa, that’s really Impressive!! 96 Terabytes 🎉
The xbox one and series, ps4-ps5 listed games play so well because they are the pc variants as long as you have the right hardware that meet the requirements
I was about to comment that, these games are available for pc
Looks crazy!
This is what I need for retirement!
A cool preservation project, even if I don't agree with throwing PC games on there that can still be bought. I wonder what percentage of the games actually play without audio/video problems?
Agree. Didn't experience any issues with audio/video anywhere
This is not preservation! This is piracy, the company is selling what does not belong to it!
@@RetroGamingGuy
Go take a look at the modern consoles. Aside from this not being PS4/PS5, just a PC port of the games. There are many Switch Games that haven't been successfully emulated yet.
Particularly games like Mario Rabbits.
The first thing in life I have ever been jealous of.
This is the illest emulator set up to date....I thought coinops and finalburn combos were great.....this is unreal. I'm getting one.
I think the PS5 games are actually the PC versions, same for Xbox series X - might be worth looking into. Still looks good but I just can't see how you could use all of 96TB - some of it might be fake. I might be wrong but thats how it seems, still nice video, thanks
Yeah you see right they are pc versions upon jumping into more gameplay
I had the same thought. Pretty sure these are just PC ports with a PS5 pic in the description. Same for series x as none of those games are actual exclusive to those console
This is the only thing that makes sense, because I’ve heard *nothing* about PS5/XS emulation.
@@fmccloud I don't why all the speculation in this thread, he publicly states on his website that the Xbox One, Series X, PS4 Pro and PS5 games are not emulated and are PC games. It's like people don't bother to read or something, including the maker of this video!
@@RetroGamingGuy Yes, it's openly stated on his website (that you linked to!) that the Xbox One, Series X, PS4 Pro and PS5 games are not emulated and are PC games. I guess it's just a way of showing a collection of popular console games that are also available on PC.
This is INSAING how that even impossible 😱
3:36 😂
I still have my controller for the Star Wars reset the PC. I would love to get that thing hooked back up and play some Star Wars with you. I’m pretty sure I need some type of adapter of some sort to get to work. I have to retrofit the plug or something.
Dude 15 seconds in I’m already dreaming about it
Damn look at all them games from back in the day
Can you also press Ctrl F to find a game or is it endless scrolling? Adjust the emulators to 4k resolution or scale/ stretch the image to fit to screen. Is this Launchbox they used? And can you also manually change the controllers?
If its hyperspin everything is controlled manually for each game so its nice cuz you can save specific settings for each game launchbox is similar or you can copy and paste control settings to all games in a category but not every game will work flawlessly that way. Hyperspin is a better setup when purchasing a setup online as it should be configured specifically for each game... so if done correctly. Launchbox is better for diyers or if you want to edit stuff yourself in the future.
@@davidgomez5116 I have Launchbox free version setup on my 4080 laptop and bought 1 Bluetooth controller for each console and one with USB for Player 2. I can't imagine 96TB being unable to search for a specific game and are just endless scrolling. I bought a 5TB USB drive for all emulator games and use 4TB ssd for music programs and high demanding games. A DIY is a better choice I think.
Oh, I had two of those enclosures. I eventually replaced them with OWC enclosures (with Softraid)
Hey retro game boy,
I feel that you robbed us the short version 50 minutes.
I'll be looking forward to when you got spare time to do a 2 hrs long version 😂.
But seriously I am so gobsmacked, thank you very much for showing this really appreciate it.
awesome
i think the best thing about this would be game preservation.
LOL! Paying over $4,000 to preserve games is a joke when you can download the games for free and hard drives are dirt cheap.
@@RoCkShaDoWWaLkEr Time is not cheap, though. If something like this works, then it eliminates endless hours of searching for roms and emulators that work.
@@RoCkShaDoWWaLkErDon't hate just because you're broke.
@@JReef Lol I make more money in a week than you make in a month and I don't have to scam any one.....
damn! all game history at least up to ps4, gotta get this!
Wow this is crazy
Kriscoolmods RetroBat build/setup is using the files from christopher shaw and hyperspin team’s setup. This guy is taking credit for Chris’s hard work.
It appears he added some pc games to Chris’s 48tb setup.
I love to have 96tb of space, mad props!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wicked!
So much ..i don't think i would be able to play everything ..I'd be overwhelm with all that
Is that a wireless PlayStation controller, if so, does it work Bluetooth without a dongle on a computer?
This is the future
Crazy
Don't forget to make a backup. High density 1.44MB floppies are the best.
@mormacfey Not so bad if it’s a high density building
This is insane! Me likey 😊
Can you tell me more about the pc you're using to run this? Great video! Thanks!
That's what I need to know. Do I need a massive cpu to run this baby??
Where's a winning lottery jackpot ticket when you need one, lol! Seriously on my budget, I'll have to save up for this bad boy...if I won a million dollars, I know several awesome people I'd be surprise gifting these to, and still have plenty left over since those people number in the single digits at best.
Does it have optional cheats software included for all games (EG invincibility, infinite ammo, max stats, have all items & equipment)? Trophy achievement system with optional resetting? A timer for speedruns? Remote access software to play anywhere in the world? 24/7 tech support in case new games are released?
This is another REALM of its own.
I have an arcade countertop that has Robotron 2084 on it.
So it’s only operational through a PC? And where do you get this?
Does it include Def Jam NY or NBA Jam Collection? Also, what is the graphics quality? Also does it include Colecovision?
Any suggestions on a enclosure stand up 4 player setup arcade cabinet?
Lo más brutal que vi nunca.
Hyperspin or lb? Looks like lb, And which theme it uses? Nice. I def want that theme!
Its getting skinnier !!
I'm just curious as of what front end are you using???? That's a perfect setup😊😊😊
Honestly, the most impressive part of this is the older PC games. Those are a pain to get running and working, I wonder if they all actually work though.
Everything else is a simple download. I built a 100TB+ so far, just a pain for the PC games.
Count how many times he says “lots of great stuff here” lmao
is this a reviewers build? Or did you buy this? This is awesome.
hello from Belgium ; ) this looks amazing and I want one ..
No ,you don't want it.
I tried using your promo codes but it didnt work for the The Beast HDD 16/96TB. Thats the 5 drives in the case set up right?
I really hope there are enough games on there so no one will get bored!
😂😂😂
imaa buy this for the homies
It had to cost a small fortune to build this. I keep getting so excited everytime u show more lol.
@mormacfey darnn would you sale for a copy of hdd
@mormacfey4,794.00 CAD for the 96tb hard drive. You're just lying tbh. Not my problem since I can buy it for cheaper then what your 144tb cost anyway in gbp lol.
@@user-vp6cq4sv3d
$4800 CAD for the 96TB, but no system to run it. It translates to about £2800, but the cost of the hard drives is more like £1080. So they're charging £1720 just to copy some ROMs onto a hard drive.
I need one of those ASAP 😊 The only thing is I would want more emulators so say pc with games like Dungeon Keeper, Command And Conquer, titan quest, the settlers etc 🙂 I would certainly pay good money for that
I need this!
a very huge collection
MONSTA BIG LIKE
NICE PROJECT
I would love to have ALL kind of movies into one HD....I'm sure it's out there...but I would like it all legally imported straight into the drive then make it public for sale...
Nice.
so I just need that 256TB ssd announced by samsung, a ryzen 8000 based computer with integrated apu might suffice, time and a link to torrent those 96TB of content to download...easy peasy....
Lemme know when you find that link lmao
I hope he keeps a mirrored backup of that 96TB.
Wow !!!!
I would really like to see some gameplay demos it’s nice to have all the games, but do they all work?
I wish there was a way to play all those games on my TV
Really good stuff. The PS4 ps5 Xbox 1x etc are the pc games of those systems is not actual emulation, so you will not have the exclusives that have not been released on pc
How much is the system and 2 light guns and 2 guitars?
Did the pinball section include Lee VPX games?
Cool
Could you please do an "updating" video to show us how the updating process works??
Thanks mang
How is it even possible to emulate PS5 and Xbox Series yet? Hell, I thought the PS4 was the newest emulation and that it was still in its infancy at best lol. Mind blown by this build though... it looks awesome!!!
They're actually pc versions of series x and ps5 which I had not realized when doing the tour of this. Play great but not truly ps5 and series x.
@@RetroGamingGuy So am I understanding this correctly? Those games are basically just PC versions that you can purchase and download like on Steam for example and then disguised as Xbox and PS5 games on this build?
@@biggie01taws6I wouldn't say disguised. Because the games were originally built for their respective consoles first.
@@TheRandomGuyTheFarNoGameCat Yeah I can see your point but at the end of the day, they are still not truly PS4 games. And at the same time, one could argue roms as a whole aren't truly the real thing either, just copies of them so I'm cool with it. Maybe they should specify exactly what type of games they really are but it's most likely a selling point so it's understandable I suppose 👍
@@biggie01taws6 There is no disguise or being sneaky here - he openly states on his website that the Xbox One, Series X, PS4 Pro and PS5 games are not emulated and are PC games. I guess it's just a way of showing a collection of popular console games that are also available on PC.
i bought the 4tb RetroBeast version.. but didnt realize it was on a 3.5 inch drive.. i was going to install it in a Ace Magician mini PC.. so i had to buy a 4tb 2.5 inch Samsung SSD to copy it on so it will fit in the mini PC.. that hurt a little.. in the pocketbook that is.. so going to sell the 3.5 inch Hard drive once i convert.. 4TB is going to take a while to copy.. but once its done im going to have one bad ass portable retro setup..
So the 4tb is not a potable hard drive meaning it not an external one ?
@@rickylomeli909look on the website, you can choose from the following options:
1. External HDD
2. Internal HDD
3. External SSD
4. Internal M.2 NVMe SSD
@@rickylomeli909 i bought the internal drive.. but thought it was a 2.5 inch drive.. so that was my fault.. but on the site he should make it more obvious what size drive it is.. i bought a external case for the 3.5 drive.. in the end after spending another $250 the mini arcade PC will be complete and awesome..
You should play demos on this in a future video.
The dream.
I’d be nervous long term about hdd failure.
Save up your money, then clone the drives.
backup !
Yiu can re download them from the website
Would love to have this
Bay traffic gonna be hi. Lol😊
