Great video , y’all ran thru the full range of emotions during that eating challenge. We agree the pre-event bites are more for the social aspect, but we’d rather have the gift card instead to use during the day if we get hungry before the event. We were there for both nights in June. We checked in early to get our wristbands and tried the food. Then we went back to the hotel to nap before the event, both days. That gave us the energy to last thru the whole event. We are more into the lower crowds than the free food for the meetups. We saw y’all come into circus McGurkus after us and then again at green eggs and ham. We could tell you were on a mission.

Haha they do get to be a challenge! They are hard when you are tired, stuffed, and hot! We just have to be patient with each other lol. 😂❤️ We are glad they help! It makes filming these worth it if it helps!

I took my daughter to her first theme park in 2000 (Six Flags New Orleans) and this is her Father's Day present to me this year. I think she wants to get revenge on me for making her ride the scary rides. Lol

I was so excited to see you all on the second night of OI😊 Y'all were in line behind me on Hulk, and I wanted to say hi after, but you'd started filiming again and didn't want to bug you.
I did not take heat into account when eating the first day of OI. Knocked out a few of my favorite rides, then went to Circus McGurkus. Between the cupcake and the fried food, I was not feeling too awesome. Did a few more rides and got the key lime cheesecake from Thunder Falls. They gave me and my party full sized pieces, which was pretty much the end of eating that night😂 I'll definitely remember that for future events. Eating is definitely easier in December.

@fudge_factor We had a fantastic time😄 Chilled out in the pool the next morning, watched Lord of the Rings in the Cineplex before the Saturday event started, then had a much more leisurely night walking around and trying food places I hadn't been before. Finnegan's and Mel's are two of my new favorites. The cherry on top was riding Rip Ride at night; there's nothing like that lift hill doing straight into the sky 😊❤
That sounds like a great Orlando Informer weekend! What did you like about Mel’s and Finnegan’s?
@@fudge_factor I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the Irish mac and cheese at Finnegan's. I had the cheeseburger and fries with a milkshake at Mel's. Nothing over the top, but really good food I would enjoy outside of a theme park. Those fries just hit the spot.
Yummmm! Did you have any of the food before or mid event in the back area sound stage? That bacon Mac n cheese was amazing! 🤤
When you dipped that chicken into the dole whip... I looked at my boyfriend and said that's something I would definitely do. Now I know NOT to 😂

What did you guys think about the first bites? Would you rather have a gift card instead? I don’t know how you did both parks in one night 😅. I wasn’t a big fan of the Minions cafe sandwich either. I need to stop at Mel’s and try that pie!! It stinks that my last place to go is the Three Broomsticks when it’s not as busy and I can’t even enjoy because I’m so full. The meetups are so much fun!!
Meetups are amazing, as you know!! You know the first bites were good! We loved it for the social aspect of it! We met so many super nice people during that time!
Mel’s is awesome! Can’t say that enough! Mel’s and cafe la bamba were up there as our favorites of the night!
@@fudge_factor that’s good! I read some complaints about the first bites when they did it the first time. I thought it sounded like a great idea! I’m ready to attend another one! I don’t think I could do the summer ones though 🥵
Summers are a lot of fun, but the heat is something to be considered when going to a summer one! It is nice because once the sun goes down it cools off a bit!

Oooo we’ve never done that but it sounds like it could be yummy. That ice cream might melt so fast based on how hot the hot butterbeer usually is but it could be delicious!
@@fudge_factor it would maybe then as a floater for the hot butterbeer. Super excited. The informer has ruined regular attendance for me. I’m also looking forward to seeing the epic preview area.
You definitely get spoiled at meetups! Especially with the food and wait times! You get experiment with butterbeer floats and not feel like you wasted money if it’s not good lol 😂 .

@@fudge_factor Definitely! I am so excited for the park to open. On the discover universal podcast yesterday they had universal executives dropping details about celestial park. They have theming on theme and elaborate backstories. I love how thoughtful this park is. Universal has changed so much since I was a kid and prior to Harry Potter. You would not even recognize it.
I’m sure it has!! They have thought though so many details that’s it’s insane! Every little thing is impressive! Like the fossils in the concrete in Jurassic park?? Crazy level of detail!

Hmmm, tacos at cafe la bamba were amazing! The burger at Mel’s was also very good! And then over at islands the cupcake at circus mcgurkus was to die for!

My goal for the next meetup I go to (first November meetup) is to eat at places I've not tried yet or at least foods I haven't tried yet with the exception of thunder falls cheesecake of course

We do not plan on going to November or December, we are holding out for February this year. Honestly, the heat really did us in back in June. I had already bought the tickets for August or I probably would have foregone because of the heat , it really messes with my blood sugar pretty bad as a brittle diabetic. However, I always say, a hot day in Florida is better than a cold day at work lol.

Hey guys! Sorry! It’s been a minute since I’ve posted. This was so awesome. Congrats! I could never eat that much. It got me excited for my next OI meetup. I’ll be going to the first Dec one this year. I was bummed that I never saw you at the last Nov one. I thought for sure I would. My aunt and I had a wonderful time and ate all of your suggestions. They didn’t disappoint except they were “extremely” slow at Louie’s so I’m not sure I would go back there. We wasted a lot of time. We will see. So many choices. I’m bummed if they don’t give the $15 gift card anymore because I was planning to try the crepe stand for the first time! I still might have to do that. 😂 Oh, and we LOVED staying at Aventura! It was perfect. We just might be staying there again or possibly Sapphire Falls.
Okay, so I have to say…I’m a mayo & mustard person as well. So I’m with Aub on this one. 😂 Sorry Ben! I don’t know what it is. I used to put all three on my burgers and then just stopped with the ketchup and have just done the two ever since. I don’t really like plain ketchup with fries either. Honestly, I just like mayo but that came from living in France for a while. That’s a common thing there. I will do ketchup with mayo aka fry sauce as well. But if I have a chocolate frosty near by…it’s game over! 😋

Hi! What exactly is Orlando Informer meetup? Also, is it something for influencers or anyone who can purchase a ticket?
The Orlando informer meetup is an after hours event at Islands and Studios. It’s limited capacity so the crowds are super low and almost every ride will be a walk on. You also get unlimited food and non alcoholic beverages included with your ticket. The food wont start until general park admission is over but it’s a huge selling point.

Ricter burger fries dipped in the "milkshake" . their chicken sammich not bad at all at mardi gras OI (the line for them was long and slow, so at least was fresh). going in dec! cant wait for tickets to go on sale

First time trying Center of the roll, now it was midnight, wasnt that impressed but again, end of night. i loved the ,...pulled meat at Minions, was shockingly good

Squishy is just an icee, just in Simpson's lingo! Its not real fruit, just artificial. At Duff brewery they Coke, Cherry, Pina Colada, Strawberry, Pineapple, and banana!

We were determined to get our moneysworth for OI. We came so prepared, we reviewed the maps, we made lists, we strategized, we planned our routes, we...tapped out on the food by like 9pm. 😂
Had an awesome time but man did we overestimate how much we could eat, didn't even want to look at food by the end of night 1.

The cowboy mac n cheese in the meetup tent, pork tacos at Cafe La Bamba, and roast beast sliders at Circus McGurkis were a few standouts.
The apple pie at the 3 broomsticks was a big surprise, it was much deeper than it looks in the video, and were those rasins???
We hit nearly every major ride on night 1 also, not a great idea on a full stomach. We paced ourselves more on night 2, the HEAT was relentless both days, bringing portable fans and water-proof shoes next time.
We also stopped and talked with you for a few mins, was nice meeting you guys.
Right? Such a blur that it's time to plan the next one! Might be a chunk of apple, i'm not sure if there are raisins, but that apple pie is so good!

Great questions!! We love our hoka bondis. Something squishy! We’ve heard ON Clouds are nice also!
We get there an hour or so after you can check in. Usually check in begins at 3 and there’s a line that starts earlier than that! If you’re not pressed to get food at check in you can save yourself some line waiting and let the crowds work their way through check in
