You can! If you want to jump over to another hotel. Now that cabana bay is a ‘value resort’ we aren’t sure how that will impact pool hopping but we will see!!

All the hotels are great! Which has been your favorite? Are you going to try and stay at all of them? We can't blame you! Having volcano bay right there makes it so easy to have fun there!

@fudge_factor yes. Next year I decided we are not going to Universal my youngest son will be graduating hs in June . The party for him will be crazy. So we will be doing Cedar point next year. The following year back to HHN and gonna try Hard Rock. Eventually yes we will do all the hotels. Favorite one has been Royal Pacific that hotel is beautiful and so close to the park

@fudge_factor club level is really cool but honestly don't think we ate enough food to make it worth it. It was our first time at the park so we were there all the time. I've been to cedar point a few times. It's been a few years now. But they have a new crazy coaster coming out next year you should look up the video

It's so relaxing and quiet! We are excited to see portofino once the renovations are done!

Yeah it's a 2 day trip to get there with only stopping for gas and getting food on the go when we drive it's about 12-13 hours for 2 days in a row

We aren't going to be able to make Thanksgiving, unfortunately! We aren't locals, so getting to the parks requires some pretty deliberate planning for us currently!

Then you will have to be sure to get a park to park ticket so you can ride the hogwarts express!

What kind of advice are you looking for? We would start with the basic questions, do you want to visit both Universal Studios AND Islands of Adventure? Or just one park? How long do you plan on staying? Do you want to stay on site or off site?

It's really up to you! The earlier you plan the more money you will likely save on hotels and what not! May is a great time to go! It will start getting toasty around then, but won't be quite as busy as the middle of the summer!

@@fudge_factor Absolutely! This trip made me love HHN even more. Was surprised by how much I liked some of the houses.

Which ones surprised you?

@@fudge_factor Ghostbusters was the biggest surprise. I had it at the bottom of my anticipation list, it's near the top. I really enjoyed it. Also, Insidious because I didn't see the movies so had no idea what to expect.

Those houses were incredible! Your first experience with Insidious was the house?? Sheeeeesh you're brave!

You are not allowed to take photos or videos in the houses. Unless you do the behind the screams tour which is a lights on tour. Then you can take photos in certain parts of the houses. Take all the photos and videos you want in the scare zones though!

@@fudge_factor luckily I had a lot of water and a spray fan so it wasn’t as bad as it could have been but I did see a fair few people who seemed to be struggling. Sad thing is I now know how the Hogwarts Express works 😂😂. The houses I did were really good . I would have liked to have done more but the lines were huge by 10 o’clock and to be honest as I was in the park since 2 I was done in

Totally get that! That’s a long day in the park and in the sun! Way to take care of yourself though with the fan and water and listening to what your body was saying! You can always go on another trip!

Aww thank you!! The brunch was so fun! Great music, great food, great friends! Our waiter was awesome also! Those mimosas were never even close to empty!

We did this year for hard rock! We booked almost a year out! How busy the season is will also determine the rate. Summers, spring break, etc will be more expensive

It does. It's quite expensive, but could easily feed a family of 4-5 lol

It was a super rainy weekend! We are glad you made it work! What surprised you most about the unmasking the horror tour?

My favorite thing about the Unmasking tour was how knowledgeable our guide was about this year's houses as well as previous years. I was also surprised at how many in house pictures we were allowed to take.

This year they have hidden. Snails all throughout the houses so be on the lookout. Also, each house was given a dessert code name. All of the desserts each house us named after is in each house. Get to looking
