Honestly I love the Earl Grey and Lavender ice cream as I’m a big fan of both but I have to admit that it’s an acquired taste for anyone that doesn’t like tea or that doesn’t like lavender drinks.
Absolutely! People like what they like, and we totally get that! The wizarding world is probably one of the only placed you can get Earl Grey and lavender ice cream!
This is awesome! It’s really a hit and miss with the Minions cafe. I’m sorry, but I’m with John on the Krusty burger! It’s so good!! I didn’t know about the rib sandwich! And with coleslaw 😃 that’s right up my alley! The fishy green ale is very bizarre. I had to have a few sips of it to decide what I actually thought of it. I’ll always grab one at the meetup just to verify I’m not a fan 😅 . I don’t mind the clotted cream. I always wonder if people actually buy that in a store. It is an acquired taste.
@fudge_factor I'm not sure! I play it pretty safe when I'm spending my own money 😅. If I had to think of something, it would be the clotted cream ice cream. There's one thing I will not try again, and that's the blood pudding. You should have had that on your video 🤢😂
@@fudge_factor they are the best! I’m not sure if I’ll get to do one next yr 😢 if I do I’ll have to change my dates from Sunday to Sunday. I’ll have to see. I planned on just staying at Helios since I have 3 days for Epic so far for that trip. If they do add express pass I’ll be getting those also. The struggle 😩
I'm glad you made this video because everyone has a different opinion of the worst and best foods, so it doesn't matter who made this video before you 😊
We've (thankfully) never had a bad meal at Minion's! Which we hate cuz the minions annoy us, but I loooove their mac & cheese and can't wait to try it now that they've added it to the main menu with pork belly. Also, John is wrong on the earl grey & lavender. 😂 It's my second favorite after butterbeer. EG&L mixed with the new huckleberry flavor is to die for as well!
Ooooo Mac and cheese might have to be on our must try list! Minions might make some great Mac and cheese! Mixing the flavors might be the move! What foods would make you ‘bad’ list?
It’s very similar to Panera’s mac & cheese, if you’ve ever had that! My worst foods are definitely the fisherman’s pie at the leaky cauldron, the basket o’ bait at the frying dutchman, and just to round it out to 3, my hubby was disappointed by the swamp dog. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t good. I also LOVE fish, so I hate that almost none of the quick service fish things are good.
Oh man, I can understand how that's disappointing if it's a food you enjoy! Have you tried lombards? It's not quick service, but curious what you think of that when it comes to fish quality!
Not yet! It’s on the list! We were gonna go in August but I wasn’t feeling super great that trip, so I spent most of it in the hotel, resting, leading up to the OI meetup. That was supposed to be more of a chill at the hotel trip anyways, so not being able to get to the parks much wasn’t that devastating.
Oh no! No getting sick at Universal!! That’s not on the plan! Chill hotel stays are nice though! You’ll have to let us know what you think of Lombards when you go!
@@fudge_factor Yes unless there’s something better I don’t know about 😂. But yeah when I have it with my breakfast or lunch with Butterbeer. It’s like the Butterbeer has nothing on it.
This video really made me LOL 😂😂😂. Specially the hot dog part, I can feel your pain guys, I’ve been there too and I also finished it just because the day I tried it I was STARVING and I had already spent the money so… better get it done fast and clean 😂😂😂
If you do one of these videos for Volcano Bay, you can add the Kohola Reef Restaurant & Social Club Beyond Burger Platter. It was bland and inedible and I usually enjoy Beyond Burgers.
I HAD to comment, MINIONS is my Favorite, favorite favorite place to eat in all of universal….just wanted to put that out there, there’s also a lot on the menu like Agnes honeymoon soup, and the vegan option plate and pet rock that are fire! So had to stand up for my minions and completely disagree on this one. Minions is the best!
Why does John even go with you guys? He knows he's going to be abused! Lol. You're a good sport, John! Thanks for taking one for the team and helping us figure out what NOT to eat!
This video just makes me want to try the Earl Grey and Lavender/clotted cream ice creams to see if they're good or not. Butterbeer is always amazing, though the chocolate raspberry is a strong second. Poor John with that hot dog, wasn't sure if he would make it😂
