I am 49 this is my first real RC car as an adult, It came today, I am very pleased with it, It takes a beating. Fast enough to be fun. has enough power. I can launch it right out of the wheel barrow, it lands flat and takes off. I ordered two more batteries for it already.
No need to take to a store. Doubt they will have the parts. The manual has exploded diagrams and parts lists. Check for stripped gears or missing driveshafts.
Great little car to if you're interested in the hobby. That's the one I started with and I did put oil filled shocks on it as well as wheel extenders and proline Trenchers.
I have one. Put a fan and heat sink on motor. Upgraded shocks to oiled. And I run 3s 11.1volt battery. Things a little ripper. 60+kmh. Tough too. Great value for the money.
I was thinking about buying one for my son. He is ready to upgrade his little small cars he has. He needs something for more bashing and a smaller budget
Looking for a rc with winter. Beside hovercraft in trying to build. Not sure like eachine eat04 or maybe this one. I'll want to put crossfire in it and I'll fpv it. Smaller might be better in my smaller areas I think.
The only vehicles I have done FPV with so far has been my crawler (1/10 and slow) and a Losi Mini-B buggy (small scale, but driven on a smooth surface). Those were both fun. My only concern with doing FPV on this truck is how bouncy it will be - especially at speed. If you are driving on asphalt, it would be fine.
I have not run the X07, but recently tested the X08. This smaller truck is certainly more durable, and depending on the type of driving is more forgiving. I suggest getting this one.

Hey Troy I got the Q905 16th scale I was going through the wheel tightening process after several runs and noticed the metal axle going in to the wheel is lose but the wheel nut is tight what might it be. Maybe the axle bearing?
WOW! COOL! FYI to all. I have five 1/6 Traxxas cars. 4 of them I bought years ago, put big tires on it bashed bthem bla bla. So I was wanting a very strong fun little car, so I bought a 1/16 revo, axle snapped within 39 seconds on flat low grass?! Mind you, my other old school ones bashed for year’s never broke a driveshaft. I compared The old version to the new one. They had beefier axles. What a coincidence they have after market shaft kit now. Bs!
So funny coincidence I was asked by Hosim to do a review on the same truck. I also threw in for the 1/10th scale Hosim truck and submitted the review with Amazon and it hasn’t gone through yet even tried to remove the videos to see if the review would go through. Any ideas?
(EDIT info BELOW for danman) My issue with a wheelie monster is that I could care less about wheelies, I would prefer to put that power on the ground for much improved acceleration , but I guess most people get a thrill out of just wheelying around, so that's what the manufacturers build.. --------------------------------------- HD danman, I'm barred from 'replies' but can edit, so: Unfortunately a gear change won't be a good option, taller or shorter gears depending on which gears are being changed will just make it wheelie more or ruin the low end torque. The best option I can think of is shifting weight forward, though I'm guessing (since I don't have this car,) that will not be an easy option.

Good content, I might need this Truggy.. wish it was 1 : 10 scale though, the 1/10 they sell is sans brushless, I think it has two brushed motors, 9125 model I believe.

I went to rc planes for a couple years, no am looking at getting some cars/trucks again... lol, sure would like to find something brushless, 1:12 to 1:8 that didn't need to be disassembled every 3 days, I'd rather work on my motorcycle than those tiny little oily parts lol....

The last one was also from Wal-Mart the burn out buggy. I was hooked and decided my kids needed a real rc so I researched and was overwhelmed. Wtf? 12 bazillion. I chose the hosim that you so wonderful checked out in this video. I am a boogie but I must say this thing should NOT still be working! It has showed me a shit ton of grace. Im talking full speed into a curb (stupid noooobie) lol. Where I actually thought, crap,there goes a $100 bucks. Pull the trigger and it wheelies off like a little angry demon. I cant think of the # of times ive though Yup, thats the end of that thing. WTF? okay now I'm dead set on breaking it, not like run it over or set it on fire. Just how far will it go under expected breaking circumstances? Maybe its becauae I dont really know any better but I hope the nezr one is this ruff. Full speed coming out of the local skate parks 6' wall with about 2 or 3 ' of of vert. I will so a video and share. I held my breath at 10' 12' oh crap at who knows how high and peaking in an arch from the launch compression. Should have been all over the cement park! Upside down and harder than I could ever throw it. Bam. Bounce.flip. right side up. Disbelief . trigger and off it went. Then id launch it out of the pool and it would get about 6 to 8' high, clear the skate park and land about 20 feet or more off into the bark. Landings arent right but Im learning. All that to say. Its tougher than I thought it would be. I have alor to learn so I am a followers now. Thanks.
Great! Yes - I have been very happy with the durability. My guess it is due to the super-low weight. But honestly, some of it is design also. I have owned the LaTrax products...and they are junk compared to this. I also just took this truck to a skate park - video coming soon!
G'day mate. Great video. I had to order a set of wheels for my 1/12 9156 and they had an offer where you could get one of these with the wheels so I am going to get one. As soon as I saw it had a brushless in it I thought I have to have one. My friend has spent over $500 AU on his monster truck to get it to compete with my Hosim 9156 ($185 AU). He just but a brushless in his so I think he has finally beat my Hosim 9156 but he is going to be pissed when he sees me with this Hosim 2845 and I still come in just over $500 AU and I've got two monster trucks and one that leaves his for dead Again. lol, It's like sibling rivalry.

Why punish us with midroll adds, I never let any of them run if I can catch them, I doubt anyone else does either, put two adds up front and two at the end, I will let them run, and I encourage others to do the same. Most of us multi task, a midroll add can run from 3 or 4 mins to an hour plus, usually louder than the video itself, with subject matter we usually don't care about, when they come on we have to stop, run to the pc ,and shut it down. Midroll adds drive viewers to add free subscriptions and add free browsers, which diverts / eliminates the revenue stream away from content providers / channel owners.

I'll look though, as I do think I can go in and manually modify...for each video...1 by 1.... I do appreciate your feedback. I just got a comment from Simulation Channel Deluxe, it got it and right away deleted all his midrolls. No one lets those disruptive midroll adds run if they can get to the laptop or device soon enough to kill them, they can literally run for over an hour, problematic for some of us.. lol
These cars are garbage money pits. Brass pinon and alloy spur with no way to set gear mesh. Constantly shredding no matter what grease. I have a Q901, Q903, and a 9125. This is my 2nd summer with them, I spend more time replacing gears than playing with them. Wanted to love them, but the are faulty by design.

It quit working. motor runs but car doesn't move. Is it worth fixing if I take it rc car store.

That was my issue with the Arrma Outcast vs the Kraton. I found the Kraton much more enjoyable as it was not always on the rear whees!

The wheels ARE NOT hex less. They are inside the wheel hub itself. Look closely and you can see. You can pry them out with a little screwdriver.

This is lightweight enough, with large enough tires that I expect it will do very well.
