This car is absolutely amazing. I'm obsessed with the Xinlehong series. I have the Q903, I replaced the chassis though with the Xinlehong 9136 Version 2 Chassis, the one that holds a bigger battery with the battery strap. It uses 1/10th/1/12th scale nuts on the wheels, I mean, what??? I absolutely love this thing, thick dog bones, and all around by far one of the best 1/16th scale bashers that ever existed in my opinion.
Hello i just bought the hosim 2845 brushless truck and wanted to see if you had any battery upgrade recommendations it comes with 2-1000mAh batteries but I wanted to see if I could squeeze any more performance out of the car thanks for any info and for the content
HI unfortunately a larger capacity 2s battery won't do anything for any performance gain of more speed or anything it's the fastest it could be out of the box because it already uses 2s lipos. thanks for watching.
How is the waterproofing in this one? Would it be safe to take out on a rainy or snowy day? I took mine out today in the rain and the rain splashed up all over the inner electronics. Would prolonged exposure to the rain damage anything? How can I make it more waterproof?
😁 Hi not really they are not to bad on this one for some reason .... I suppose some 1/18 or 1/16 scale shocks could work...I will ask Hosim if they have any oil shocks recommendations for this model. Thanks
Yes I have the q901 and q903 esc and motor handle it fine and it it does 52km/h then some tires will instantly eject if you dont glue them really well. They actually have foam in them.
How long dose it usually take to charge the battery for you because I got one today for Christmas and I charged it and it worked great, but then when it needed charging and it took about 2 hours and I don’t know if it’s my charger or something with the rate at which the battery absorbers the energy.
Hi I never used the stock charger I used my hobby grade one to charge up the batteries... The usb charger could take longer depending on what you are plugin it into if the USB supply is low amperage it will take longer, usally the included chargers take longer to charge up the batteries .. better off getting a cheap hobby grade one they are better and safer also. Thank you
Nice little truck, my nephew would love it! I have not forgotten about sending a pic with the reptile grips on my radios, Just hard to get a good pic of them and the camera does not do them justice. They look fantastic and grip is awesome!
looks 2850 size BL, shame the shocks not filled hope they have seals for, they look it. 23-24 mph not bad, its small so it really did look faster, the torque is there for a larger pinion if the ESC can deliver. you DEFINITELY beat the snot out of it, and it held up pretty good other than chipping some rims... good job basically telling them they should inject the same plastic into the rim mold that they do for the A-arms and chassis. always hated cheap plastic rims for on-road cars for snapping if you sneezed, Associated would dent sometimes but not snap.
Pretty cool little truggy style basher. I like all the metal gears and drive shafts. To bad they skimmed on the shocks, but still great little for a starter RC 👍
Hello. I want to install such elements in this car. Model: LiFePO4 26650 3pcs -3S, I have a question for you: can this battery fit? Can I fix it inside? Will additional cooling be needed? (maximum voltage 3.6 * 3 = 10.8v minimum 7.5v) how will the battery cutoff work at what voltage? Or is it better to do 2S -?

Hi you can get oil shocks for these... I think you can use some of the similar trucks like this tires but not like a true hobby grade your very limited with the wheels and tires. Thanks for watching
Hi that would depend on the shock pistons how many holes they have in them and how large they are, But for a good starting point I would start out with 30 weight oil and see how they work if you need more or less dampening then go higher or lower on the weight of the oil. Thank you for watching.
👍 Thanks man! I kind of like that it was a bit slower i think if it did the 32mph it would be totally out of control... It's tough and did awesome for it's size.... oil shocks would be awesome thought!
Great unboxing, overview, speed test, bash test and crashes. All in one video 🙂 Ahh, well, all these are rated higher top speed than what they do. Too bad everybody but the American, European, Japanese brands and the likes do that. Tuff terrain. Running it on that surface it could definitly need some oil filled shocks. The rear looked like a kicking angry horse 🙂 Did okay for the size and spring shocks though. Looked like a lot of fun.
👍Yea it ran good though and I actually think the slower speed was better for a rc this size. it does take a beating that's for sure!!! Thanks bud for a great comment.
Shen RC use a 3s battery and you’ll hit the quoted 32mph speed no problem. They test the cars on 3s but only include a 2s battery as it might be too fast out the box for some on 3s.
Hi I did not use the stock charger I used my hobby grade charging at the proper charge rate of 1C that would be 1 Amp charge it should take like 35 to 45 minutes or so depending on the power left in the pack.

Hi there are other companies who make this same truck using a different name Gp toys and exheling or something don't know how to spell it all there parts can be used on this truck also.
Hi with all RC's usually A arms and C hub carriers but if it's not broken may as well just wait if something breaks then buy the part and maybe a spare.
These are good. I bought that S920 its fast for what it is. However 20min in the first run snapped a shock 😞 luckily you can run with singles on the back til i order new ones. But for a 9yr old it should hold up ok. I hope 😆.
Hey Shen, how would the fare to something like an e-revo 1/16 brushed? Been going back and forth on what to get, but if the e-revo isn't THAT much better, I might pick this one up instead.
Hi this is nice but I did own a mini e-revo and I would suggest the e-revo just because you can get parts for it so easy and also companies make all sorts of hop up parts for it also, also the materials used in the traxxas truck are a bit better and it does have oil filled shocks.

Hey shen! That thing ate a lot of rocks and from my sight, took it quite well! Just curious on how you get Banggood to send you vehicles to test and review. Are they free? How’s it all work. I’ve got a new rc review channel I just started. Was hoping I could get some tips. Great channel bro!
I know starting out, there must be some investment in products to buy to review. That can get real expensive. Just wondering what places like Banngood and Gearbest look for in a review channel before they offer a product for review?
Sorry fully charged battery it's not as fast as they claim...others also said this in there video tests of this truck by testing with GPS also. But it still is quick for it's size.
Looks like a great and durable car! Never heard "Hosim" anytime before, are they a "good" brand? Video's great as always at your channel 😂! Regards, Lukas!
Hi the best one that I had was the GPtoys s611 ATV check it out on my channel it's the same chassis with a bit better parts and oil shocks and includes a nice bag filled with extra parts and 2 batteries and 2 chargers!
Thanks, I actually think it's better it only got 23mph it's fast enough for it's size, It did great on the rocks also fo it's size now if it did 32 mph it would have been totally out of control all the time.
Hey Buddy. I just ordered one of these for my UA-cam channel. Gonna start another Budget Basher series. Does anyone know if these are 3s compatible? If so let me know . Thanks , Check out my channel if you like RC content!
These cars are garbage money pits. Brass pinon and alloy spur with no way to set gear mesh. Constantly shredding no matter what grease. I have a Q901, Q903, and a 9125. This is my 2nd summer with them, I spend more time replacing gears than playing with them. Wanted to love them, but the are faulty by design.
LOL... Q903.! OMG, what a beast for such a small packege.! Love the extra info.! Well Done sir..!!💪💪💪AND a killer wheelie bar..!!
👍 Thanks very much, this little thing runs very good... that rock spot is killer for even 1/18 scale sized rc's this little thing did very good.

You can upgrade the battery to the 2000 mAh for the battery for the hosim cars it might hit that 52 mph

Could you do side by side comparison of WL144001 and q903 dimensions etc.. Thksss
Hi I am sorry I don't have the wltoys but I will tell you this it's 1/14 scale and it much bigger than the Q903 1/18 scale truck.

Have you thought about finding compatible oil shock absorbers for it?
😁 Hi not really they are not to bad on this one for some reason .... I suppose some 1/18 or 1/16 scale shocks could work...I will ask Hosim if they have any oil shocks recommendations for this model. Thanks
They make oil shocks for this model. From China. They are on Ebay and Amazon
Man. They just keep making them better and better. Good test.
😁👍Yea this ones a great little 4x4! Thanks bud.
If you get a bigger battery that has the same dean styled connecter it can go faster then 32 mph.
Hi no it will just run for a longer time. Thanks for watching.
they have a 50$ version with the brushed motor, would it be cheaper to just buy that and upgrade the motor? I'm new to this RC world.
Hi you probably will be ok with brushed version. it would cost more to upgrade it to brushless. Thanks for watching.
Can you get oil filled shocks for it and you should check for full bearings.
👍 Full bearings and I am sure you can find some oil shock for it 👍 It's pretty nice!
Nice unboxing and hard test run ;-D

Hi it don't say anything about 3s so I would say stick with the 2s battery. Thanks

Hi yes they are 2.4 so you should be able to run multiple cars at the same time.
LOL... so they got the MPH reversed on the box... no biggie😂
😁 LOL!! yea good one!!
Chinese MPH is backwards lol
@@philthyco1 🤣😂🤣😂
@@philthyco1 hahaha actually they read their name last name 1st before first name... 😁
Let me just say this is a damn steal for what they charge for it.....lol.....
Yea it's pretty good!
32 mph not even down hill with the wind behind :-) On the rough surface the speed was enough and it thinks he is Flipper.
Thanks, I actually think it's better it only got 23mph it's fast enough for it's size, It did great on the rocks also fo it's size now if it did 32 mph it would have been totally out of control all the time.
Just so you guys know that 52 kmh is converted into 19 mph so I went over what the box said
It is accually 32.31 mph
But if it can do 28 it will be premature good
And you have to break it it it’s a good starter ex car
What? Not ony can folks not do simple math nowadays, they can't use the internet either. ;)

Hey Buddy. I just ordered one of these for my UA-cam channel. Gonna start another Budget Basher series. Does anyone know if these are 3s compatible? If so let me know . Thanks , Check out my channel if you like RC content!
Cool! I am not sure about using a 3s in it though.
