"Let it be finished" is what Varok Saurfang's son, Dranosh, said before he fought the Lich King in 'Wrath of the Lich King', and died. And then was resurrected in the Lich King's service and became a boss for players to kill again. The tie ins between some of the Battle for Azeroth cinematics and events of the Wrath expansion are some of the best moments.
I'm no wow player but I love King Varian Wrynn, so in honor for your late king. Long live king Varian Wrynn for his noble sacrifice was not in vain, long live the king of the alliance of azeroth.
Saurfang is one of the most respected characters in the franchise and for good reason,he lost everything, and kept on going, survived 3 great wars,to be "cheated" to death. Likewise, I'm a Horde fanatic, I hate most of the Alliance, but still it makes me really sad seeing Varian die,and his funeral/tribute/memorial scenes. It doesn't matter if they're wearing red or blue armor, what matters is who is inside the armor ;)
Nobody there stood a chance against Sylvanas, not only have her actions throughout Battle For Azeroth made her essentially immortal but she is also being powered up by a being that is likely stronger than all the Titans and Old Gods put together.
Try watching the Jaina's Journey in battle for azeroth starting from Warbringer Jaina to the ingame Alliance Cinematics..... That will tell much about the alliance side in battle for azeroth
Been playing since 2008, I main a female Gnome Mage named Rubyrose. My husband usually mains either his Gnome Death Knight named Lacykins or his Orc Warrior named Marakk. I'm almost 100% Alliance and this particular story with Saurfang and Anduin's friendship development and the way Sylvanas messed up what had been an almost working relationship with Legion just held my interest so much. I've had a very hard time getting over her actions in this and Shadowlands.
She left because she was exposed for not caring about her people (when she called them NOTHING) and also because she used magic in the duel, which means she technically lost, but doesn't care because she has bigger fish to fry; she preferred the satisfaction of hurting and killing him, at the cost of blowing her cover as a double agent. Her pride gave away her intentions.
Once again... wrong. That Mak'Gora was perfectly fair and legal, no dishonor at all. Please learn about the Mak'Gora before spreading these false claims.
I couldn't finish watching this, knowing how it ends. That traitorous B, murdering one of the greatest characters in all of Warcraft lore. Saurfang is on the level of Uther Lightbringer. Hero and champion.
Love the look the horde flag carrier gives Sylvanas after shitting on the horde. "excuse me biiitch???" someone also probably also explained already but magic is forbidden in Mak'gora so she literally cheated.
Saurfang knew he needed to take some hits at the beginning. He had to make Sylvannus get confident and talkative. That is how he took the city, got his warrior's death, and became a martyr.
Can't wait for you guys to do the shadow lands trailer, I think you would also really like the wow afterlives animated shorts too Edit : They're in the same style as the warbringers sylvanas short
ahh still could cry to this one :/ The moment she said to everyone *you are all nothing,he already won* also he challenged her to a Mak'Gora which is an old Orcish tradition that means fight for overtaking the leadership or something like that, and is usually to the death (now there was alot of back on forth on this topic when it actually happened, because she used magic to kill him and since its an Orcish tradition and they are all about honor,magic/spells technically shouldnt be used in the fight,so many said that she was cheating),anyway eventho he died he still saved alot of people and actually won in a way too,by showing off Sylvanas's true face to everyone...P.S He was one of the oldest characters still in the game,he was even being used in RTS games back before World of Warcraft was made,so some 20 years or soo, just sad :/
The whole journey with Sylvanas through Battle for Azeroth and even now in Shadowlands seems to be about killing hope. If you watch the new Shadowlands ingame cinematics (which are also very good) you'll see~
Aaaaand of course like all other reaction channels they skipped The Negotiation which leads from Safe Haven to this and gives more context. They also never had there dudes react to the Legion intro.
this guys on the left isnt even interested.. he appears to be watching the video but in his head he is thinking about stupid jokes to make.. he is making fun of it all the time..
Anyone saying that "Sylvanas cheted by using magick" thend to forget that Sourfuck cheted first by not only using magick but also acsepting outside help. Sourfang died as he lived, denying his part in Teldrasill. He will be forgoten as a coward and a traitor. Loong live the Dark lady Sylvanas Windrunner, the true Warcheif of the Horde.
Have you played Shadowlands so far....didn't matter if you was loyal or not she wanted you dead and the only thing you get for loyalty to her was being the first in line to die by Zovaal if he succeeded. Saurfang may have been a sad old man in BFA but he did as his family has always done...save Azeroth. Too bad blizz threw her and him away with bad writing.
@@deangeloellis729 No one cheated in that challenge. Not Saurfang, not Sylvanas and no one cheated in the 2 challenges before this one, Thrall/Garrosh or against Gul'Dan.
My favorite thing about this is the sword splits when the wielder has honor. So Saurfang fought and died with honor
I am a long time WOW player and I love the reaction of people that haven't played the game.
thank god they don't have to deal with disappointment we had to endure lol
@@NonsensicalSpudz big F if they didn't played in Legion

I am an alliance main. I don't usually like the horde. But in this moment I was incredibly fucking proud of the horde and teared up like a baby
The story continues in the shadowlands trailer
i am an alliance player but that made me cry my eyes out..saurfang and thrall is the 2 u dont kill:) as our own varian died.

Finally someone mentioned:"Do you think that tooth piercing hurt?"
That what I was always thinking about, cuz it gotta be insanely painful
i mean even now people get jewelry pierced through their teeth, teeth dont have nerve endings until nearing the roots. So no, it wouldnt hurt.

Anduin couldve rez him but you cant target rez the opposite faction
Respect Varok, FOR THE ALLIANCE, FOR THE MY KING ANDUIN.

Actually you can use magic, it's just you better be using magic against another magic user.
AGAIN, no cheating was done and magic is allowed.

that video got to me the first time and still does now :'( Varok i mean the first time i seen the cinematic XD first time
Next Mak'gora Thrall vs Garrosh :D
Premieres are a plague
never challenge mak'gora. I can't think of an example where the winner didn't cheat
No one cheated. And not in the previous ones, either.
