The significance of the ripping of the crown what that its one of warcraft most popular if not the most popular storyline of warcraft history and no one absolutely no one expected Sylvanas to just rip the crown apart thats why the warcraft community went crazy
@@givenup24 Actually, with the Zovaal blessings, learning from mistakes, and most importantly, Blizzard bias, she'd most likely still win. Maybe Blizzard would have seen reason and had it be an earned victory, but due to Bolvar being the one who got defeated by someone who ever thought it a good idea to give up MM Hunter range advantage in favour of power sliding into melee range of a Frost DK, we don't know for certain.
Those arrows arrow are infused with EXTREMELY powerful shadow/death magics boosted by Zovaal the jailer (she basically running with a missile launcher disguised as a 22). Bolvar is not as powerful as Arthas was when he was the Lich King because he doesn't have Frostmourne. If she wasn't being boosted by a death god she would've died horrifically.
If you have played the new expansion, Bolvar (The current Lich King), tells you that he couldn't use the full power of the Helm of Domination because he would lose himself to the true master of the helm. Even if he had Frostmourne he would have still lost because of that.
@@boballab wasnt Arthas different though? The whole reason he was inactive after taking the crown was because he subjugated the spirit of Ner'zhul in the helmet to truly make it his own?
@@unknowndane4754 No. If you watch the Afterlives: Bastion cinematic. plus ingame cutscenes, you find out once Arthas put the Helm on and tried to use its full potential he became the puppet of the Jailer. That period of inactivity was the Jailer taking full control and why when he dies in Afterlives he asks the spirit of his father if the nightmare was over. Here is a vid explaining the book that can be found in game: ua-cam.com/video/3ylPL5jzHYA/v-deo.html
In case you don’t know, that Lich King isn’t the guy with the sword, the first ‘proper’ Lich King, aka Arthas Menethil. That guy’s Bolvar Fordragon, a Paladin commander who took the position to keep the Scourge(zombie plague army) from running wild after we defeated Arthas. The reason he looks like a overdone BBQ is because he was killed in a Forsaken(Sylvanas’ people) ambush during the first siege against the Lich King, after which he was resurrected by Life Flames from Life Dragons, though the ‘Flames’ part didn’t do much good for his skin. Since he was already pronounced dead, he felt he was best to take up the mantle of the Lich King and isolate himself in Northrend(the icy continent they’re in). The Shadowlands are a collection of realms that make up the afterlife in the Warcraft universe. You’ll presumably learn more about these in later reactions, namely the Afterlives “mini-series”
You need to react to "Shadowlands afterlives" there are 4: Bastion, Maldraxxus, Ardenweald and Revendreth." They act like 4 intro videos for the zones in the new wow expansion, they are really good!
After learning more about Sylvanas, I understand her much more. At first I was on board with calling her overpowered for no reason, but it makes sense now. Plus Bolvar was no where near as strong as Arthus, just a piece in the way of her battle against the fate she faces in the afterlife.
Sylvanas is being majorly powered up by the Jailer whom is the force behind the creation of the Lich King which is why she was able to beat Bolvar(even though he's not as powerful as the previous Lich King he is still stronger than any other on Azeroth besides a Titan or Old God). Bolvar became the second Lich King after the player characters along with Tyrion Fordring defeated Arthas(previous Lich King), he offered to become the next Lich King because without one the Scourge(undead) would swarm the world destroying all life and he couldn't return to normal life anyway since he had been burned by the flames of the Life Binder then when the Scourge found him alive(because of the flames) tortured for I think months by Arthas(Lich King).
I'm pretty sure Witch King helm is based on Lich King's. Initial skethes of the helm in Lord of the Rings were different, then Wacraft 3 came out, and after it LotR did reshoots for the third movie where they did all Witch King scenes. And his helm in those reshoots looks very much like Helm of Domination
you guys are right about wow fans being hyped when we knew they were going to fight. if you look at live reactions to the cinematic release at blizzcon and online, people went crazy. but this lich king(bolvar) is not the same as the previous lich king (arthas) as bolvar does not have frostmourne(a sword which makes up the majority of the lich kings strength but has been destroyed). he still had the helm of domination though so he's no slouch. *spoilers* but sylvanas mauls him as she's been getting power ups directly from the jailer (who is a titan-like/god/eternal one from the shadowlands - who also happens to be the person who created the idea of the lich king, frostmourne and the helm of domination). the jailer wanted bolvar to serve him/prep the mortal world for his takeover after arthas was defeated but he refused, and instead of using the dead to cause havoc, war and take over azeroth, bolvar basically just put a leash on them/subdued them as a stopgap. So eventually the jailer was going to send someone (sylvanas) to clap him(even though it took years/5 expansions in total lol), and that's basically what happened and leads as the intro into the next expansion.
Sylvanas voice actress is in "a toast to 15 years of warcraft" you guys should watch it. You will also see Rhonda Rousey, and Hoodir from Game of Thrones in that video.
The reason Icecrown Citadel was built where it was is because it sits on a point where the veil between our world and the Shadowlands, the afterlife, is thinnest, granting those who wield the power of death more strength. That mirrored tower you saw in the Shadowlands is actually Torghast, the Tower of the Damned, providing more symmetry between the realms. The Jailer in the Shadowlands granted Sylvanas great power if she agreed to work with him to free him from the chains that bind him to his duty in the Maw, this is why she was able to defeat Saurfang so handily in their mak'gora, and now how she snuffed Fordragon in this contest. While I don't play the game anymore, I do enjoy the story, despite Blizzard's penchant for pulling the "lets be friends to defeat the Big Bad™" thing too often for my taste. I really enjoyed the beginning of Battle for Azeroth because it was WARcraft.
Whole background lore of WoW are the Cosmic Forges and that in the end ALL are bad if the would win. So mortals are captured between those and try to survive by fighting those who are the biggest threat for their existence at this point. But even if they win, this weakens one cosmic power and by that another one now got their chance to dominate. In the end WoW can only be finished one way: tha the cosmic war is end in some way forever. Else it will either just continue forever or some day one cosmic power wins and that's it for mortals.
This is not straight Sauron. The movie Lord of the ring was made much after Lich king of Warcraft. Those producers of the movie used the image of Lich King for Sauron, not the opposite. Btw, according to Tolkien, Sauron never looks like this. If you've read the book, Sauron does not wear any armor
As Blizzards CGI gets better, their game design gets infinitely worse each expansion. With hyper easy game play, regurgitated and bastardized lore, infinite loot boxes and micro transactions, Activision has run the franchise into the ground, riding the coattails of the genius and passionate Blizzard gamemakers and storytellers of the past.
Gents I must say, not the best reacts that you can do. The guy without a beard is just…annoying. Very sorry but he is not doing any justice to there reacts. Talking when he should not, laughing when he should not…I mean its just a mess. The other guy is cool, like his vibe, expressions and overall I would watch him react to stuff!
