Hi, I saw that you have done thigh mod on Mcf Cyborg Superman to increase the rotation. I would say that I have seen people are just grinding the "behind" from the legs parts, and preserve the thighs looks, no cuts seen. I guess, the "behind" and the trunks are what making it not able to rotate more. Have fun!

I am very interested in that spray but it is not sold in my country, so I need to import it. Ive had fused joints. It looked like the parts were put together hot and melted into one piece. It was the elbow joint fusing the upper bicep and forearm. Oh and I got a Classified Joe figure that had a fused knee. I think it was A torpedo.
Hi, so just a dumb question : Do you need to take the figure apart (or the specific joints) to apply the silicon oil? Or can you do that without taking it apart and using a nozzle to reach the hard to reach parts? Also, do you use lukewarm water or boiling water ?
Use boiled water and put the action figure in it to loosen tight joints. Remember to flex and move. Sometimes, a pull will work. If still a little tight, do the same again.
TBH I do not own a lot TF figs but I have one Hasbro and one YOLOPARK and for the YP I just tightened the screws it had and on the Hasbro, I use kiki and sticky tack
Marvel legends are harder to take apart because they are made for children to play with, if they could easily be pulled apart they would not be able to label them as toys
You can buy a Purple Power chemical you can pick up at any store , pour in a container drop your figure in there for about 2 or 3 days , when you pull oull the paint will fall or rinse right off.
ur ben reilly looks really cool mine chipped really bad after like 5 poses and im bad ad painting stuff always start to shake i tried masking tape but that didnt really work well do u have any tips?
Sorry to hear that. Yeah man, I would reccomend touching it up with some acrylic paint of ur choice, then hitting it with a durable top coat, then a matte finish. That’s what I did to mine and it came out pretty good. I use this like sticky tack kind of substance to mask areas I’m working on. 👍
I hate the newer marevel legends are sockets I found out the hard way with a nick fury figure I took the coat of and the arms have two points of position that one only is used to hook in and the whole torso above the t or ball joint torso all breaks

I was going to say, I would personally invest in a cloth but if that is not an option, I definitely would recommend trimming any areas of the cape that clash with the figure. Mcfarlane tends to make really heavy capes so maybe you can try hollowing it out with a Dremel. Make a cut at the bottom and trim the inside plastic as much as possible. Not the best advice but I hope it helps bro. 🙏
@@MagnumWest-zd9lo hey dude, appreciate the feedback. With regards to cloth capes. Removing the cape would damage the fig quite a lot. Secondly the figure is a ML. So I think that they are too expensive for the basic figure you get. I didn't want to spend anymore money on it. Also I'm keen to try and modify figs myself. The articulation is so poor that anything would be an improvement. Thanks for the advice guys. 🤘👍

Food grade silicone also works but it can be messy because its spray can. Alternative is Denso Siliconoil, put in syringe and it's all good.

You could probably do without breaking the figure apart but it just works better. I use like almost boiling, like a simmer type deal.

I would say you could go with a durable top coat but the one I showed is just fine. I will be making a video dedicated to just that shortly!

You could try to make strategic cuts in the cape to increase the range of motion.
