I've tried all sorts of super glues, even the model-quality stuff, and loctite always seems to work the best for plastics/figures

@@billmaru forgot to mention, if you need to superglue something and have it cure FAST, bob smith maxi-cure/insta-set combo works great too
Hey just want to say a huge thank you for posting this video! Watched it last night and have already repaired 3 figures (1 Thor arm, 1 Baron Zero arm, 1 Black Knight leg). I didn't realize how the pegs worked, this is a game changer for my family (my kids have hundreds of Marvel Legends). Thanks again!

@@brandogg Hey, can you also use this on legs but in particular Knees? Because it obviously wouldn't be able to bend at
the knee then, would it? because I can't see how it would work bending the knee if there's a screw in between. my example, Neca Jason, right at the Knee joint. does it work there too?

Hasbro should really do their bicep swivel in metal, it’s a non visible joint and the plastic is kinda soft (especially on the grim reaper mold). I don’t have this stuff but my dad have so he can use this video to fix to ones that broke on me.

That is awesome. Reminds me of when my Grandfather had noisy neighbors. They partied all of the time and it drove him crazy. He'd call the cops at 3am and what not. Finally they moved out and a new guy moved in...a guy who worked with his power tools at all ends of the night. Grandfather slept like a baby. ha.

Nice, I came up with a similar method but instead of leaving the head of the screw in, after I put the screw into the bottom of the shoulder I cut it and screw the top of the bicep into the cut screw
Gud thing I had dis saved, my zombie hunter spiderman figure has the same issue as the homecoming figure, cuz they reused the bicept peg, and I got unlucky and it was so tight that it twisted off, I knew it was gonna break from the start, thanks for dis vid

Just drill it out get a piece of copper or aluminum wire score an x pattern on both ends drill out both pieces of the figure make sure the wire is tight fit and locktite it in then do the same to the other end and boom not only repaired but reinforced
You could definitely try that. I'd suggest cutting a screw down for time purposes.
I have this exact same problem with my DC Comics Multiverse Shazam action figure, it's made by Mattel. I think this can work on that figure but I don't know what size screws that can fit, all the screws I have don't fit, could you help me out? Also this tutorial is amazing and very in-depth, thank you.
:59 I use a small space heater. Keeps me warm while I'm popping some broken pegs😁
Ebay mostly has joints that are stuck and break if move them

This is a great video and really helpful. Will a flat head screw work as well or do I need a round head like the one you used?
I strongly suggest the round head due to it having a flat end on the threading end. it will hold like factory that way.

Sometimes loctite will stick to everything but what you want

Hey, Man, That's an awesome video. And Question, As you put superglue liquid on your spider-man figure that has a screw in it, How long does it take to dry?
I tried this to repair the recent Jazwares Master Chief's bicep swivel... but I left the screw too long. It still works, but now his arm is kinda gappy...
Same for legs cause mine on legs did this

Hey. Thanks for the tutorial. I was wondering how one would go about fixing this broken joint problem if the peg broke off a ball joint? I hope you can help.
I was thinking of first taking out the broken peg from the hole and then take a screw and screw it into that hole. Later take the head portion of the screw and then super glue it to the surface of the ball joint. I hope you can correct me on this.
Actually check my tutorial on how to reinforce ball pegs. I did one using the Mafex DKR Batman. I think that may be what you are looking for.

@@billmaru Is there perhaps a way to do the reinforcing without heavy materials like a drill. I, unfortunately, don't own one. I was hoping to superglue the head of the screw with the surface of the ball joint. Could that work?

Does this work with McFarlane toys too? I got a Batman that sadly the bicep swivel was a little glued to the arm, tried to work it loose but it got a little warped and then snapped later on, that would be really helpful

My spiderman’s bicep is loose because one part of the peg is gone, I dont want to break it just to maybe fail doing this. So I am thinking to super glue it but im scared it wont move as it did before.
4:24 even if you take the screw out after you drilled it too far is it still going to be locked?
ii had an arm break off like that when i was younger i cant tell you how much times i crid if i saw this then my mom wouldve ben able to help me also can we send in our figures if we dont have the tools to do it

A little late here, will this work on Marvel Legend female arms? The peg at the elbow and bicep snapped. I got the peg out, so in theory this should still work?
Would a pin vise work for the drilling part if you don’t wanna risk damaging the figure more
I found a Netflix daredevil and the arm arrived snapped and im not wiling to risk damaging his more since he’s so expensive

Please help. I just bought a bootleg sh. figure arts ps4 spiderman cause I can't afford the real one's. And as I was trying to remove the hands, they snapped right off and I really need them fixed.
I had the same problem i drilled a stick in the arm and it worked
I tried this with my deadpool retro carted but m not toycanic guy so the seller just offered me exchange coz I broke it as soon as i unboxed it while I was checking it but any way helpfull video coz in future I may need this and I do have experiance from today as well.
