People talking ill of Shaw doesn't realize how Strongman works. Any given day Brian is STILL top 5 in the world and no doubt strength wise top 3. Give the man the respect he deserves.

Damn, Hafthor when so fast because he needed a better time than Brian for the win. Since Hafthor fucked up, Brian could chill since he only had to do 6 kettlebells faster than Thors time to win the event
Yes, I also watched the video.
Remember watching this at the time and thinking how it was yet another example of Thor making a silly mistake and blowing his chances of the title. He was unlucky in various ways not to pick up some titles sooner but he sure made it hard for himself too.

No. The order of who goes when is determined by the overall score, not after the event itself. Shaw was still in the lead after the plane pull which meant he went last here
Exactly were Hafthor lost title, if he didint made that mistake then Brian was slower on 4th one.
Shaw was intentionally slower.

Lol stop being a fanboy shaw is one of the best at this event, if thor was faster brian would have done it faster too but he didnt need it, he even got coky on the last one, if he was serious he would have done it faster and had a second try for the one he mised, but once again thor fucked up so no need

@Kush Manjrekar I love Brian, but if he can't do it slimmed down this year, then he should probably think about hanging it up and focusing on other areas. He's got his businesses, and he's great in the media, and who knows.....maybe someone needs a Giant character of some sort in their TV show? It will be interesting to see how he does this year.
Shaw Classic was just for a laugh in Brian's Gym. He'll never win a real comp again. Was a good career. Second best to do it. If Thor wanted 4 titles he could've done it though.
